Who here plays MTG?

In light of recent events, and in the interest of getting something light and easy up on the general OOC thread, who here actually plays Magic, the Gathering?

I run two red and black decks. My friend plays red and green. He has a hydra deck which causes me to wanna die.

Currently playing R/B Eldrazi for the lolz. I either completely demolish you in like six turns or I lose.

Prefer to run straight blue, currently trying to create a monk theme deck. Success for this is proving quite elusive.

Yup, Marchesa EDH that needs some work, my passion is Human token White with a Splash of Green. Oh and what has been affectionately coined, my 'Taxman' Orzhov EDH deck...

I've played once or twice, my favorite by far is white, I like things that have to do with righteous stuff, hence why I chose the Jedi faction. The white deck also has some awesome cards that can make a sick combination.

Eh, blue's okay. I hate black and red is just... red. Black is always hated on and I personally think it's too dark. For me, Magic is more about morals then anything.

Black is my favorite to be honest. It's perfect as a deck, but a plus is that you could use it for trolling people. Mix that with red, and it's a work of art.


Once, my friend summoned a Hydra with monstrosity. The thing had like 20/20. I used Act of Treason, took it to my side of the field, attacked him with it, and then sacrificed it to one of my monsters. He lost the hydra he was building up for, along with a powerful monster he used to block my attack. Sometimes, I lay awake at night thinking about that and feeling nice about myself for ruining his day. Red and black is the perfect pair.

I've got a story about white that you might of heard before.

I was playing a five-person game, each person with a solid color deck. Anyways, it's the last round of the game, and the library we were playing in was about to close. I draw this awesome card, not sure what it's called, that removes everything, even Planeswalkers, from everyone except lands. Literally had just enough lands to tap it.

Yeah, didn't win, but I knocked out everyone's, including me, stuff. Go out with a bang, ya know.

Me personally, red and black all the way. I love a good, sadistic aggro deck, goblins, minotaurs, Rakdos, decks like that. Sometimes I'll run a mix with green in it too, I love a good Jund deck

People run blue/white to do things like a return deck that is super troll. Basically mill you out.

EDIT: Also Blue/Red all the way! I don't know if that's still a thing, it's been years since I last played but it was my favorite combo.

I'll play just about anything. The only deck I have built currently is Red-Black vampires, though. But I am fond of blue and all that stuff.

One of my friends here has a ridiculously stupid Green Eldrazi deck.

He's pulled out Ulamog in like seven turns before and hoo boy did I get rekt

I've been playing on and off since Ice Age.

I'm a big fan of monogreen stompy decks; they're what I play in Modern and Standard. Strangleroot Geist into Rancor into Aspect of Hydra all day, please.

EDH has been my drug of choice lately, though. Currently, I have built: Nemata, Grove Guardian, Xenagos, God of Revels, Meren of Clan Everyone Is Having A Bad Time, Grimgrin, Odric, Lunarch Marshal, and Thrun the Last Trollololol

I'm learning? I'm attempting a green/blue commander deck with Ezuri, Claw of Progress.

I ran a 99% monoblack deck while packrat was flooding standard during Theros. Round out the little bastard with some zombies and some B/G lands for Vraska and many lols will be had.
