I will had for me that Bauren fired, Red fired i pulled. There would be 2 seconds between Bauren shooting and me pulling. In short it would not effect his shot.

The only elevation Redneck mentions is the hill Bonnie starts on before she enters the village. From then on in she's using the buildings as cover, so I'd say since it's not mentioned as being elevated that it should be assumed that they're on the same elevation sicne it'd be...weird to assume otherwise if there's nothing indicating it.

His shot isn't what we are debating. He did indeed shoot and nearly hit me.

I have to agree with Archlight on this one. @Bauren I see why you'd think the shots could trigger the bombs, but it really does assume a lot regarding trajectories and such.

Yes, elevation doesn't really matter in this case though as in order to hit where she was aiming she would have to be aiming downwards enough for it be accurate at all.

If all three of us, building included, are at the same elevation. How could a shot possibly hit grenades on the ground? In fact how would you be able to see me? In short; your character has to be elevated to see me crouched down wiring below window/eye level. And if your elevated, she doesn't have to be. So her shots could just as easily fly upwards. You're assuming an awful lot.

I'm not elevated, I'm standing in a window looking at you. Nothing is being assumed at all. You're just nit picking because you don't like what I did and told you would happen. It's perfectly reasonable that a shot is not a perfect straight parallel line and could hit the floor especially if she aimed at my back which would imply a downward shot angle.

It's much more logical if she is aiming down for your back, two houses away, that they strike the ground or below the windowsill. You don't like being wrong and want your way as everyone does; myself included.

By this logic Han Solo shouldn't have seen the FN sneaking up on him (that he then shot with his back facing said FN) in the fight for Maz' Castle.

Or maybe he new he was there, because Star Wars?

Except it wouldn't hit the ground or windowsill because it was aimed to hit me who was standing next to the window. Unless she was... at elevation.

I'm just making a general point.

That's relevant.

Are you right by the damn window? No. If your sniping there is distance. Distance in which downward aim shots would travel and hit elsewhere.

Even though I am not involved in this I propose both of you do a litlte drawing of how you think this played out exactly. Positions, shots and angles included.

Where did I say I was sniping? I said I ran up to the window, turned in and fired. Now you're not even reading my posts.

And I'm getting far less inclined to do so.

Yes it could hit the floor, but it could also hit a lot of other stuff. The angle she was shooting at, the elevation, the window size, etc. So many things were not mentioned when these shots went off. Don't you think its a bit much for all those factors to line up perfectly for the shots to hit the bombs?

You know what would be fun?

It'd be fun if, when one of us, any of us, is thrown a curveball, we think to ourselves 'Hm, now how can I use my wits and cunning to get out of this or turn it to my advantage rather than spending pages bickering over every piece of excruciating minutiae?'

This is the exact kind of shit that bogged down PvP last timeline and...frankly I'm about this close to writing myself out of this thread just so I can shut down the thread to stop the OOC bickering that's going on here, because this is just painful to be a part of.

Because when I try to be clever and respond to a 'curveball' in a way Mr. Bauren doesn't like, he points out all these flaws in mine so I should change it. Strangely to his advantage every time.
