NAME: Xander Essai
FACTION: Sith Order
RANK: Sith
SPECIES: Human
AGE: 26
GENDER: Male
FORCE SENSITIVE: Force Sensitive, Adept

PERSONALITY:
Xander can be a combination of many things, but the thing he is most of, is madly driven. Driven by his father's untimely death at the hands of some mysterious Sith, Xander has been reduced to nothing more than a Prince-in-Exile with virtually no allies. Losing his father and royal title drove the young man mad with hatred for the Sith Order, wishing revenge for his father and Xander's own royal life. This teenage angst, mixed with privileged life led to a very eye-opening life lesson: he could only rely on himself. His goals are simple: destroy the Sith Order and rule the Galaxy. Like any other Sith, right? He doesn't let his anger get the better of him however, as he's patiently searched for any clue as to exactly who murdered his father, and plans his ascensions to the top echelon of the Sith hierarchy. He would either find his father's killer, or at the very least have influence to find them.

In his younger years, he was much more oblivious to the "commoner" way of doing things and his arrogant behavior was much more apparent to others around him. Now, however, he's become much more reclusive and cautious when he speaks, as to not make it so overtly obvious, but there seems to be glimmers here and there of his arrogant mannerisms. His posture screams "grace", and he makes little excuse for his very extravagant taste in clothing - preferring designer-custom battle wear, than the simple garb the rest of the Sith seem to wear. He relies much more on expensive and intricate technology over applications of the Force, or the "teachings" of the Sith. For the most part, he's level headed, at least when it comes to his focusing on his goal. When it comes to matters outside of his revenge; whether it be politics, galactic happenings, or war tactics, he knows very little and cares little to nothing about them. Instead he studies the Siths as individuals, to the point of obsession, all for the search of his father's killer.

He thinks very little of the Sith Order as a whole, but is wildly curious of the Sith as individuals and their interpretations of the Code. More so, if anything, to help narrow down his search for his father's killer. While he can agree with the core ideals of the Sith, in practice, the Sith seem to be carelessly destructive in trying to burn the Galaxy they so aimlessly try to control. True chaos will render the Sith Order obsolete, pointless. Power cannot be everything, can it?

BIOGRAPHY:
Xander was born on the rocky world of Vanqor, to the High King and Queen Leru and Mandi. respectively. Studying with some of the best tutors, mingling with other rich nobles and visiting exotic worlds with his parents was the highlight of his childhood. His mother's death nearing his tenth birthday forced a young Xander to lash out much more, and become much more of the stereotypical bratty prince. His aunt Frealy, a decorated war hero and commander of the Kingsguard, tried her best to reign the arrogant prince but no matter what - Xander gained a confidence that few could shake. He knew his position in power, he was prince, future King, and he was unstoppable in his own little world. But he had always ignored the Galaxy at large.

Xander's young adult life was spent mostly training in swordplay and the occasional sport hunting, but he did manage to squeeze some outside culture from his tutors and instructors. He didn't really care to focus on his studies, instead vying for the attention of his father, who drifted into a depression following his wife's untimely death. Xander did his best to show his father how strong he was, but it was largely in vain as his father focused his depression on furthering his own goals, and not so much on raising his son, nevermind raising a King. That was instead a task for Frealy, his aunt, who never any children of her own. She had little patience for Xander's foolish attempts at currying favor with his dad and instead insisted he become more independent - more focused on himself. Through his training, he uncovered his Force Sensitivity, but it was this discovery that heightened not only his father's interest but many within the Royal Court.

It wasn't until the age of 14, that Xander would have to put that independence to the test. It was rather indistinctive night that his father met with his "special advisor", after a few the years of being gone, the advisor had come to deliver a message it seemed, and it was a simple one: there was a change in plans. Xander woke to the fighting in the hallway bellow, but manage to see his aunt and father trying their best to hold off the Sith's superior might. His father was murdered within a few quick strikes, and his Kingsguard, the with exception of Xander's aunt and a small handful of others, were all but murdered in the ensuing fight. Frealy managed to pull away long enough to get Xander on a ship, and sent him offworld and towards the fringes of the Corporate Sector. He drifted through Wild Space for a few weeks, alone and barely any knowledge on flying a ship, let alone trying to co-ordinate hyperspace travel.

Sith. It was all he remembered hearing as the red blade cut down his father and his guards. It was the Sith that did this. He was lucky enough to be saved by some salvagers who thought the kid's vessel was a simple derelict ship. He managed to convince the salvagers to take him to the corporate sector if they split the earnings of his ship, which caught a pretty penny. By then, it was galactic news that his father was dead, and he too was believed dead, and his uncle was now crowned King, and Sith officially ruling over the sector. Xander doubted his uncle would relinquish his new title so easily, and he couldn't take on the entire Sith Order - not yet anyway.

"If you can't beat them, join them. Become them. Destroy them." These were his aunt's words. He clung to them like glue. He'd get his vengeance. The Sith would become his. They'd crumble under his iron fist. In time. He spent the rest of his young adult life training under the Sith, learning their ways and becoming a stronger fighter. But still no leads on his father's death or even a solid reason. He's since ascended to the rank of Sith, and aims to begin his hunt for his father's killer.

SKILLS: Xander has a practical understanding of the Force, mainly focusing on it's implications during battle. His preferred style of fighting is based on Juyo, and his body's physique reflects that of intense combat training. Outside of that, he has very few skills of note, basic survival skills, hunting and tracking, as well as basic slicing skills. He knows how to deal with criminals, or rather, knows how to do the credits do the talking for him, and generally knows how to barter, given his expensive taste, he deals with many merchants. While he doesn't have the vast wealth he had as a child, he has managed to keep himself relatively comfortable economically, that and he often steals directly from his fellow Sith.

It's really basic and barebones for now, but I really didn't wanna spend all night trying to fancy this up. Apologies if anyone was expecting more, but I'll be working on it still as the week goes on (and beyond, cause I expect for my character to grow). I am looking forward to writing my first Sith in a very long time (I always RP as a good guy), but I am looking forward to stomping some non-Sith necks in this timeline, too.

Oh, you can still be the good guy. Vicious vile Sith are my preference. Want to do a PvP sometime?

He's plenty vile and viscous, or will be anyway. But yeah, I wanted to keep a bit of shine to him early on to completely and totally extinguish any remaining hope for his sanity later on. I want to start him off in the dark grey, then progressively fall to the dark side as I go through writing him. That's the plan, anyway. Who knows, time might change him (n me) into a whole different direction.

I'm totally up for a PvP thread now if you want to start it. I won't post till tomorrow though, but I get off early. @Dark child
