BIOGRAPHY
After the Jedi Order continued to split further, Xiang watched some of her friends betray and turn on the Jedi; joining with the growing Exile faction. She never forgave them, nor did she truly understand why they became what they did. Over time, she put them and the memories of them behind her.

During the battle of Ilum, she found herself questioning the Jedi Order; finding faults in their philosophies. She discussed it with her Master, finding his words had smoothed the wrinkles of confusion from her mind. Months after the battle was over, and with both sides vying for unification of their respected ideals; she began questioning the Jedi's view of the Exiles; knowing some within the Order sought the Exiles total destruction. She believed this was not the Jedi way. Her anger began to manifest from such thoughts, allowing the tendrils of the Darkside to begin clawing it's way into her heart.

Weeks later, she began to discover a change. The Darkside, having been allowed to grow roots awoken an urge deep inside her; ripping away the veil she believed the Jedi engulfed her with, and with it she saw the truth. She didn't believe in the Exile's cause, nor did she believe in the Jedi cause any longer. After discussing her concerns, her new feelings, and the arrival of the Darkside with her former Master at great lengths; she decided to leave the Jedi Order willingly. And with that choice, she turned her lightsaber over to her Master. No longer a Jedi in the eyes of her peers and not an Exile in the eyes of those who fell before her; she began walking her own path, forging a destiny of her choosing.

She began planet hoping, staying on worlds for periods of time. She did this mainly to find herself, and hope in the end of her walkabout that the galaxy and the two warring factions would heal themselves. But she knew the latter would not be the case. She tasted the Darkside, though never truly embracing it's full mantra, knowing how seductive it could be. But the Darkside would not be denied. She never could pinpoint when she began to fall, willing to give herself over to the darkness, but in her heart she knew the completion of such a fall was forthcoming..

She felt guilt for leaving the Jedi Order in the beginning, but if she stayed she would have grown to resent them; perhaps joining the Exiles, whom she loathed, but secretly respected and understood. They, unlike her, where willing to openly express this disdain for the Jedi, seeking power and whatnot; while she took the cowards way out, and fled on her own accord. However, the Darkside spoke to her again, wrapping it's protective arms around her; opening her eyes for a second time. She found she wasn't a coward. She was just a chained animal that needed to break free, and the Darkside was the hammer that shattered her weakest links.

Living a life of a self imposed Exile was not easy; but the galaxy was no place to allow herself to be swallowed up.

Over time, her hatred for the Jedi grew stronger, a side effect of the Darkside, while her views of the Exiles grew more suspicious. She found both sides were monstrosities in accordance of her beliefs; leading her to join a guild of Bounty Hunters. It was here she found a true means of collecting credits, whilst waging her own war against Jedi and Exile; if their names appeared upon the board. And it was here among the Guild that she found a purpose and her true calling.

There was a time she feared being approached by the Exiles for recruitment or the Jedi seeking to bring her home to explain herself, but those fears turned into her strength; changing her completely. With the last component of who she was finally washed away, she reached out and embraced the Darkside; and truly accepted her great fall.
Personality
Xiang is selfish and self-righteous; believing she is better than anyone else. She can be very manipulative, treating others as tools to gain personal advantages; relishing in the feelings it brings dominating others. Xiang is an opportunist, acting quickly and efficiently to turn the moment in her favour. Her mood, which swings like a pendulum, depends on the situation at hand, who she is dealing with, or the current mental state she finds herself under.

She comes off rude, brash, and at times cryptic in her speech to others but that is how she is; acting and saying whatever moves her. Though she can at times be friendly and helpful if there is something she can gain from it. Since leaving the Jedi Order and fully embracing the Darkside, her view of the galaxy changed. She cares little for the strife that infects it or those that live among the stars, only concerning herself with her own self-preservation; leaving the wounds and fractures of the galaxy to right itself.

She is a hard worker, dedicated to her craft as a member of the Bounty Hunter's Guild. Though she abides by the Guild's rules, she holds fast to her own moral ethics; never compromising them for anyone.
The Force And Associated Abilities
She has an excellent understanding of the Force, though her view of the Force is unbalanced. At times she commands it faithfully whilst other times she ignores it, believing it is more of a curse than a gift. She once believed there could be a balance in the Force, allowing her to utilize both aspects of it; but she was wrong as she discovered the tendrils of the Darkside to be overly seductive, showing it's jealous nature by ripping the Light from her.

She has long since abandoned and denied the Lightside of the Force while struggling to refrain from following the Darkside of the Force in it's entirely; but the seduction and her great fall into it's heart caused her to drift further into it; corrupting her further along the the edges of her sanity. With the Light long forgotten, she has dedicated her free time to learning more about the Force and unraveling the mysteries of the Darkside but on her own terms. She isn't interested in gaining unlimited power but only unlocking her full potential; and she believes the only way to achieve this is through the Darkside.

She has learned to control her darker, baser emotions, but it's the hatred of herself that thrives deep inside that well of emotions that gives her purpose; granting her strength in the Force's Darkside nature. With her control, she has taught herself not to act on them without cause or justification, though there are times she slips and gives herself over to them.

Xiang's path in the Force, though dark in nature, are aligned with Energy Manipulation, Mental Manipulation and Influence, and the Physical Body. She uses all three to a degree of understanding they are there to ensure survival rather than ruling. Of the three, she is more attuned to Mental Manipulation and Influence; seeking to dominating the minds of others by ripping their minds, or tricking their minds, or exploring their minds to exert her will over them.

By using flashy techniques and small sparks of Force energy she began to unlock more knowledge of Energy Manipulation. Through this she learned to defend herself better; following with her understanding of self-preservation. Over time more abilities began to manifest themselves. Due to her profession, which normally put her in harm's way, she adopted abilities via the Physical Body to enhance her speed, agility, and strength. With her connection to the Darkside, it allowed her to dig deep into the Force to inflict pain on her enemies.
Skills
1. Mechanic: To offset the trials of life, she tends to tinker with mechanical devices such as ships, machinery, and vehicles. She finds it soothing and relaxing to work with these mechanical objects.

2. Linguist: She has learned several 'alien' languages over the course of her journey, speaking what she knows fluently. She is always on the hunt to learn new languages.

3. Piloting: Almost from the time she sat in a ship, she grew wings. She loves flying, but dogfighting has yet to digest properly with her.

4. Herbalist: Back when she was a Jedi, she enjoyed working with plants and tending the gardens around the Temple. Now with no connection to any Faction, she can be found planting flowers, rescuing trees, and soaking up the beauty of being a gardener. Now, after some searching, she has learned to make poisons from using toxic plants.

5. Demolitions: Upon choosing her new path and profession, she began learning all she could about demolitions and the various outlets associated with it.

6. Chemistry: In her growing expansion of knowledge, she began to learn about chemistry; unlocking the mysteries of chemical compounds and how to best utilize them.

I like the idea, but Dark Jedi is the wrong term, it means you were a servant of the Darkside, Grey Jedis are inbetween

Hey there, some things stuck out. Please be aware that "Grey Jedi" aren't a thing in nu cannon, neither is being able to use the Light and Dark. The way the dark side works is that if you use the dark side, you take dark side corruption. So there aren't any characters who are going to be able to use the Dark and Light Sides of the force.

@shinobi_no_mono / @Faster Than Light

Not a grey Jedi...I know the difference. Grey Jedi walk the balance between the light and the dark. Dark Jedi have renounced the Light but don't walk the path of the Dark.

As for using both aspects, she doesn't. She uses the darkside but she struggles with it...lying to herself that she could utilize both (which she doesn't do). Over the course of time, she will fully embrace the darkside (character development) but will refrain from joining the Exiles. Hence, Independent :)

Hey there, a few things I wanted to mention.
Firstly, the Jedi split happened a hundred years ago at the beginning of the War, so you might want to edit that bit in the first paragraph.
Secondly, Grey Jedi in the sense that they can use both the light and dark sides do not exist at all. Grey Jedi are Canonically Jedi who don't follow the Council's wishes (take Qui-Gonn for example). This is because in NuCanon, true balance in the Force is the Light Side. Life, death and decay, peace, chaos; all of this creates a balance in which the Force exists. This is the Light Side of the Force. Then, completely separate from this cycle and balance, we have the Dark Side. It's a taint, a horrible corruption and abomination to the natural order of things. It's immensely tempting and a quick way of achieving power, but ultimately destructive. If one were to lose themselves and call upon the Dark Side, they would forever after be tainted by its influence. The Dark Side isn't the other side of a coin — it's like the rust that tarnishes it.

With this in mind, you'll likely want to make some edits to what you have written in the Force section of Xiang's bio.

Exactly Vosrik. But someone is either on the light or the dark side, and grey Jedi are on the light side but,... grey and dark jedi are already dark. There is nothing that is really in the middle. In legends a sith tried to achieve the middle ground, but in the end he was just another sith.
