Reinforced Diiro


Description:

Used by hutners or guards, the diiro is a typical Arbooinian weapon, specificalyl designed for Sathari use. The spear has an approxemately meter-long hollow haft and a small hollow alloy blade. The diiro is lightweight but capable of deadly precision strikes in the hands of a skilled user. Often, they contain a reservoir of venom extracted from a bearsloth, a zabros, or another of Arbooine’s dangerous flora or fauna. While the cut of a diiro may not be fatal on its own, it is capable of bringing down even the largest of Arbooinian predators in the right hands. A diiro can be loaded with up to three doses of any poison. This particular diiro has been reinforced to allow for more extended hunts before needing to be repaired, the wooden haft braced with Cortosis-weave bands, and the spearhead affixed with a removable, hollow Cortosis-weave tip.

Arbooinian bearsloth venom is not immediately lethal, as it is used to weaken and paralyze prey enough for the bearsloth to catch it. It does, however, linger a particularly long time in a victim’s system, chipping away at its stamina.

Alternately, there is Zabros venom, which when applied to a victim, induces them with temporary blindness. The Zabros, who are considered to be some of the more dangerous and cruel creatures on Arboonie, enjoy playing with their foe before killing them, aided by the property of their venom.



Intent: As a hunter, Ocha has been trained in the use of a diiro from a young age, Sathari skilled in mimicking the hunting styles of their local fauna in order to catch their prey. As she brings this manner of hunting off-world and into the galaxy at large, she, of course, would bring along the trusted diiro that she's been using to take down beasts since she was young.

Hawker Hunting Rifle


Description:

The Hawker Hunting Rifle is a semi-automatic, scoped hunting rifle capable of long-range and semi-close-range firing in order to take down large and small prey alike whether through direct confrontation or careful stalking of prey. Highly customization, the gun can be modified with a suppressor, scope, and multiple range stocks to let the hunter prepare for each unique quarry they may go after. Each part has unique lock-in mechanisms, which can be released with a swift knock to their connectors, allowing a piece to be launched off and swapped out with a moment's notice. Much like the Sathari themselves, they want every weapon to have a good backup plan, and this level of customization is it.

Made of sturdy durasteel, the gun is also plated in matte flex-bronze, both to add reinforcement for the heavy, energy-consuming shots of the weapon, and to mute its colors to allow for better camouflage when used in stealth hunting.



Intent: As a hunter and trapper, Ocha requires a specialized weapon she can manipulate in the field to align it with her plans when taking down her prey.

Description:

This weapon fires a net as an energy pellet that, when coming in contact with something, explodes into a plasma web that attempts to ensnare and entangle a target. The heat of the net can be modified via a control on the right side of the gun, much like one can switch typical blasters into varying degrees of kill or stun. The netting is attracted to itself, thus when deployed, it will seek on its own to close up around the target and steadily tighten until it senses it has fully encompassed the creature.

The gun also has a secondary fire, where the net pellets can be replaced with grapple bolts, which can be fired into a creature and then attached to spokes in the ground or tied off to things in order to try and keep a creature in place. The tethers themselves are plasma cable, attached to piercing grapple spikes. Spokes can either be kept on an individual's person, or in an option mount on the side of the gun that can be used to rapidly affix the tether to the spoke and implant it in the ground in one swift movement.


Intent: In order to capture creatures, Ocha needs a sturdy and adaptable netgun that can be used both to bag smaller creatures and pin down larger ones as she preps them for transport.

DESCRIPTION

This Wayfarer-class Medium transport started out as an absolutely gutted hull, with a broken armature and a less-than-spaceworthy core. Since then, it has been refitted with a new, specialized armature, and a custom, massive passenger section. The armature can allow the usually-limited Wayfarer-class to accept more than simply the standard cargo containers, now a flexible "arm" that can even hold other ships. The arm can also be "overtaxed", causing it to break, but also jettison its chosen cargo away from the ship at a high, dangerous speed. The passenger section (4) has been refitted into a spacious, tavern-like interior, decorated sparsely and somewhat rustically, with some pieces of "pirate-y", hanging decorate flair. There's room to stand and talk, sit and drink or eat, and a stage for performers. The wall of the passenger car has been modified to have a door and stair-ramp just in front of and below where the cockpit of the ship is. There are also modified slashes along the walls that can be ajsuted to let light in, acting as windows, but can be sealed air-tight during flight. Upstairs from the diner (5), is a series of section-off bedrooms, with two beds in some and singles in others that can house a max of 8 people. The gateway (8) and a heavy blast-door (hallway before 6) are guarded by personnel to keep patrons out. Beyond the blast door is the lounge, usually where the captain talks to individuals privately on the c-shaped couch around a glass-topped table. There is a secret compartment underneath said table, as well as around the ship in various covert locations, for hiding away less-than-reputable goods, or even people. Down the hallway is the crew quarters, the med-bay, and the bridge. The cantina can be switched out for regular cargo containers, when she is actually moving cargo. When not attached to the ship, the cantina is parked on Ord Antalaha, and run by her employees there.


INTENT

I'm making this ship for my character, Vihdhla Phassa, who is going to be a smuggler and the owner of a cantina. This mobile cantina acts as a cover for her smuggling and other covert operations, as well as acts as a form of profit. It's my intent for players to be able to use this as a sort of neutral "hang-out spot" that can be at literally any (typically already populated) location, as well as a potential point of interest for missions.
