You know..college really sucks

People from all over the state and other states...even other nations come together on a college campus...life completely away from parents. You're fully an adult now and can choose whatever you want to do...and yes even reap the repercussions. Yet, after it's all said and done and you've been around some of the same people for years, it all comes to an end. People move out of the area...get married...start a new life...and you lose touch. I had to say goodbye to a friend of mine I've known for a long time tonight and kinda bummed about it. Guess I posted this out of boredom and also to see if others had similar experiences.

Well college is different here in UK, but yeah i know what you mean i made alot of good mates when studying Stone Masonry. Just walking away is kinda sad - this time last year i was at college and i still find myself laughing at the things we used to get up to......

I understand what you mean Kelly. I wasn't particulary fond of where I went to school (the winters were awful. Nothing like snow on Mother's Day to brighten your spirits :25: ), but I did miss my friends when I left. I found, though, that the people I was really close with, I still kept in touch with. And I still see them as often as possible. Plus, like Big Will ( :9: ) said, remembering all the fun times is that much more fun when you do get back together.
