Alright guys and gals, so I talked to some of my mangobruhs, and I think it would be interesting if we had a bit of an arc for those players who are interested in having Mandalorian characters to explore the early clan aspect as well as the locations of the Mandalore system to kick off at the start of the new timeline! My initial idea, although it is up to feedback and input from those who are interested and participating, is that it ends up being the story of how the Mandos come together to make something of themselves. So, basically, we'd have our characters doing stuff on Mandalore, maybe meet each other before the plot gets started.
My idea is that it would end up being a series of threads which would hopefully end with some sort of unification of the Mandalorians into a coherent group with shared goals. The outcome would be up to the players participating in it, so it would be a way for the players to get somewhat of a say in the shape of things, like a possible Mandalorian themed indie faction. The unification could be violent or not. There may even be political intrigue and nuanced RP (with Mandos! HOW SHOCKING!). Ideally, it would be fun and immersive for those participating. This in turn could help determine what direction a Mando faction takes and how it is shaped! Eventually, I'd like this discussion to also be used for where people might see an independent group of Mandalorians going.
So, if you're interested, or have something you'd like to suggest, or have a question feel free to post it here (or PM me/shoot me a message on skype). I'm going to post a list of Clans/Houses, so if you'd like to sign up as a member of a clan or house you can do so (fanon clans accepted, just be aware of what the current list of Canon clans are currently. Fett, Ordo, Skirata, etc. are currently non-canon. That's not to say one can't be from those clans, but I would caution anyone against playing a Fett for the time being due to their status as being Mandalorian is up in the air atm.).
