All light-sabers should be replaced with the really old ones that had to be wired up to an energy pack.
Retro SWRP.
Huh. That explains why the Dark Jedi left the Jedi Order.First thing that comes to mind is the lightsaber shorting out, then resorting to garroting your opponent with the power chord.
"What do you mean I shouldn't slowly choke my opponent to death?"
Plus, it helps you find your car keys at night!@MockaDash I have wanted one of those so badly for years. I just can't justify the $60 or whatever they cost. Or random people pointing and laughing. But those are awesome looking!
i believe one of Tsunami's characters might have one.It be funny to see someone have a saber staff that use the cross guards kylo ren uses for his single saber
People are going to want their fancy colors regardless. Though I would recommend obtaining the more exotic colors through hard work and roleplay.
If someone already hit on this then I apologize.
There is a lot of lore that revolves around crystals. Most of the crystals used at the time of this new timeline were actually colorless until the Jedi imbues it with the force. This action gives it color. So it is entirely possible that all colors we see in the EU could be used. But hey, I'm just the new guy. So what do I know?
that's because most sith crystals are not actually natural crystals. they are synthetic and used in an ancient alchemy ritual that palpatine used most prominently. but those actually had special properties which in this site we aren't going to do. simple color choice is all that matters for crystal choice. but i'm assuming a natural crystal can become any color so long as the user imbues it. red doesn't have to be evil or malicious necessarily either. basically here it's all aesthetic.Been RPing and into Star Wars lore for many years, but did not know that. It makes how almost every Sith has a red lightsaber logical.
As far as I'm aware, that's Legends material I think, so in this Timeline there are no such things as synthetic crystals, just kyber crystals that are colourless and then change when imbued.that's because most sith crystals are not actually natural crystals. they are synthetic and used in an ancient alchemy ritual that palpatine used most prominently. but those actually had special properties which in this site we aren't going to do. simple color choice is all that matters for crystal choice. but i'm assuming a natural crystal can become any color so long as the user imbues it. red doesn't have to be evil or malicious necessarily either. basically here it's all aesthetic.
P.S.: @Marcus On the vid it was - jokingly - said that Gungi should be careful around fire. It made me wonder; Huyang stated that the Brylark tree's wood was as strong as metal. That's not the same as being impervious to fire, though. Do you guys think that the LS's hilt could actually burn?
My bad, you're totally right. Because metals are inherently good heat conductors, they rarely reach their ignition temperature. I thought metal burning was a rare occurrence on "normal" day-to-day and mostly reserved to factories, car crashes, train wrecks, etc.thanks for addressing everything prior to this quote and i don't want to butt in on a question but i think the firefighter in me want you to know even metal can burn and that shiz is hard to put out. XD
