The answer is long. But basically, everything just looks so stupid to me when I see images from the Thor comics. From Thor's new method of flight (instead of a wagon drawn by goats, which is cool, he spins his hammer around above his head as if he's pretending to be a helicopter), to Loki's male stripper outfits, I just get turned right off by the whole thing.

EDIT: Oh, and the dialogue. ****ing lame dialogue.

I read about this one IGN last week.

I really dislike the whole idea behind Thor, every story or any art I've looked at just through me straight off. It just doesn't appeal to me.

But hey if they make a decent movie out of it that isn't dominated by fox ill be happy.

But do what Iron Man did. Not what Wolverine did.

I don't think you've read any recent (IE last 20 years) Thor comics, then... You're talking about the campy 70's Marvel era, where every comic book was horrible.

So you can't really say the movie is going to suck, since all you have is some bits of knowledge about some old Thor comics...

I could show you exclusively bad Iron Man comics from the 70's, would that make you think Iron Man 2 will be bad?

PS. No, I don't much care for Thor either, but that is because of his affiliation with the Fantastic Four.

I hope they are going to use the Marvel's Ultimate Alliance Thor Outfit for him in the film or something similar. The Original one just looks like something that would be in a cartoon or a 70's movie.

I've never read any Thor comics, and quite frankly, I don't ever plan to. This movie will probably suck though, just because it's a ****ing Norse god amongst superheroes in modern times. I like Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk, but this is just like ****ing magic.

Mulluns that's Ultimate Thor, which, since they've stated the Marvel Studios movies take heavily from the Ultimate Marvel imprint, they may.

And Kurt, I kind of agree. I mean, the newer Thor stuff has been pretty decent, and if they go with Ultimate Thor, than it could really be good. However, I'm up in the air on this one. I mean, I'll see it, but I'm not expecting much.

Indeed.

Also agree with Kurt to some degree. I won't be reading Thor Comics anytime soon, but chances are I'll see this film. After Iron Man and Incredible Hulk, chances are this will be very good. We'll just have to wait for a preview. Aside from Iron Man 2, I'm more looking foward to the Captain America movie.
