Now THIS looks MUCH better then the previous thread I posted a moment ago. Peter Jacksons attatched to the project, its full of unknown actors and some accomplished writers.

The special effects and cinematography look spectacular and the idea of the story is superb.

This movie looks orgasmic, I have been excited for this for about a month. I cant wait, it is gonna be wicked.

looks pretty good. I'm just glad they didn't do the stereotypical 'they landed in America because it's AWESOME!'

This looks awesome. The plot sounds like something humans would do if Aliens came to us.

If this comes to a theater near me, I will watch it.

Nerd info: You remember those Halo shorts from the release of Halo 3? The same guy directed those as this film. Rumor has it that if this film succeeds, the duo will move on to the Halo film. (Peter Jackson and Neil Blomkamp I mean)

This is just a riddiculous rumour.

And if I remember correctly he wasn't the one who directed the Halo shorts, he was the one who would apparently direct the actual movie.

Yes the rumor is ridiculous, but the other bits were true. Neill Directed the shorts and was slated to direct the actual movie.

I had always thought it was Bungie that just did it themselves.

Well that just makes this movie even better, those shorts kicked ass.

At the movie theater, I saw a sign on the bathroom that said "Human bathroom only, Non-human waste may be explosive.

I checked the website out the other day, and that shit is awesome. I really like their marketing campaign, here's to hoping the movie will live up to it. Looks good though.

I can't wait for this, when I first saw the trailers for it in theatres I got chills up my spine, looks amazing.

The only thing i'm slightly worried about is, will this unknown actor playing the main character be able to carry the film?

I just saw this today. This is without a doubt one of the best films I've seen this year. I liked it more then Star Trek and Salvation.

Yeah I had a right mind to bump this thread again actually after the recent boom of reviews ive seen for the movie.

Can't wait to go see it with some friends.

Saw it today, absolutely fantastic. A bit slow to pick up on action but the development was great none the less.

It was all worth it. In my opinion it is my movie of the year so far. I was blown away by this film.
