Kinda. Write up a submission for your new style, detailing it in lenght, both the mentality and the physical aspects behind it, before PMing it to your Faction Leadership (Captain GABArica for the Jedi, Rom for the Sith) for their approval.

She could, but her story, at the moment is a little "plot-locked".

You can do a write-up along the lines of this one right here, and post it to be approved by Gaba (As Jedi faction leader) and probably the admins. I think you'd post it to the jedi OOC board. I don't know if they'll sign off on it, but the option is there.
