Imperial Knights are run by Wit (or "Sid" as we know him). Inactive as mutes, but there... somewhere.
I believe Weiss does a bit of stuff with them too, but he's not particularly active.

I do not know if you were made aware, but Sreeya (Empress Andraste) has made it clear that this tournament will not be to the death; you acolytes are too good to pointlessly waste like that. Hence my intervention. Please acknowledge and continue the tournament with this in mind :)

I usually work with the person i'm RPing with and we each just take turns providing new obstacles IC. Nothing formal, but just so that there's always something exciting, without having ePeen brought into it, trying to actually "win" like it usually ends up with a designated NPCer.

You can, but its always more fun to do it with someone, so perhaps on the Retrade OOC boards, post a [INTEREST CHECK] for the mission you wanna do. Just one other person to do it with. Or you can see if anyone wants to RP it with you - just post that on the RP OOC boards.

But that defecting thing would be a very appropriate thread, as that is -definitely- something that the Retrade would do.
