I guess I like RPing as people with ordinary past, more or less. Like Avreet, raised in the Empire and taught patriotism and honour before the Sith took him.
Ugh, I just hate tragedy in a family stereotype. No offence, but I see it way too often. That's the reason Avreet's family is absolutely fine and he's had a happy childhood and yet he became an assassin.
Hmm, he believes he does it for future happy galaxy, but he definitely doesn't like it. He will do it, but he doesn't like it. He has a moral code, so he won't kill a civilian for example.
I don't know if he'll be ever comfortable with killing, but there is not much he can do about it. And yes, he is going to be the calm, very reasonable Sith. He is lawful neutral, after all, he won't hurt people unless they give him a good reason.
Oh, I forgot about that. I've found him, so I'll let him know to post.
Also, poor Avreet. He is a sensitive kid, can you imagine what kind of effect if this mission going to have on him?! :D
I don't know. Many players write them differently, so some clan mothers can summon a rancor out of nothing. Though it is true that with Avreet hidden, he might stab her into back.
Honestly? Someone as important as clan mother probably has several very experienced and armed bodyguards, even though she most likely wouldn't need them. Don't forget the Nightsisters have magic, so if our Acolytes attack her, they are pretty much dead.
Word of advice. Part of roleplaying is leaving it open for the other person's reaction. You go too far in one direction of combat. I could easily take a totally different way and everything you wrote should be disregarded. Even if you didn't mind doing that, it's tedious for someone reading it to read because there's so many things that were going to happen but turned out didn't.
Also, in PvP, if you were doing a duel and writing like that, you would also show all your cards and intents at once. Battling in RP is a lot like a chess game, you need to gain the upperhand. If your opponent technically knows what your planning, then they can refute it. It happens, even though theoretically in the rules it's not supposed to. Don't give your enemy the tools to metagame.
