I try to write from a third person limited omniscient POV (point of view). Thus, instead of myself being the narrator of a post, my character is the narrator.
This tends to mean that my character's thoughts and feelings may not be the same as my own and may even be biased.
If, for example, my IC post indicates that your character is an idiot, that does not necessarily mean that I think your character is an idiot, but just that my character does.
