Ooohhh, yum. It's hard to go wrong with rice dishes, especially if it's spanish rice. Oh my god i could eat a whole bowl of just some well seasoned spanish rice, I love that stuff.

Hmm, that sounds really tasty, I may have to give that a try. And yeah, barley in stews and soup is the best idea ever, it works so well. I love a good beef and barley stew.

That's awesome! I think I'd be way stressed out cooking for that many people. Though over winter break I do want to try out my parents old cast iron dutch oven. Thinking chicken breasts, russet potatoes, asparagus, lemon wedge or two, butter, pepper, some seasonings and dash of whiskey for flavor. That's about as adventurous as I get lol.

I've been keeping busy. Almost done christmas shopping for everyone, something I like to get out of the way early. Are you back to cooking amazingly delicious-sounding dishes?

Tell me about them? I've got a rough outline for a character at the moment, and when her profile popped up again I had this vague idea that maybe they had been friends at school, but an aide could work. (Possibly for the same character - the tl;dr is that she was a pilot who crashed and lost her legs, got them replaced, but had a tough time adjusting to Navy life after)
