    I've been toying with the idea of coming back and writing instead of lurking around (especially since I never got to use the new guy) but it's all a matter of finding the time to do so. Is there a new post with the ongoings of the main story these days?

    The timeskip only just rolled out a few weeks ago so there's no a super big amount of stuff going on atm. Might be a really good spot to get back into it, actually.

    Honestly, not really. I check the boards every so often, and read a lot of other folk's stuff, but I don't write because I have less time for writing than ever before. Yourself?

    Thank you! It took me a long time to really get him right and even now I'm still iffy on whether or not I captured him just right. But yeah as I was rewriting him, I realized he had absolutely no reason to join the Jedi, nor would he necessarily want to at the moment. So it's pretty much wherever the story takes him!

    Aw yeah. ^_^ Nah I like him, looks like he'll be fun to work with! :D I know all about getting a characters bio etc just right. Ive spent the last hour trying to do mine and just decided to stop partway through and take a break. XD

    Definitely, I would say take as many breaks as possible to get your character just how you want it. I'm excited to see what you come up with.

    But most definitely! I'd enjoy getting a chance to start up a new storyline and stuff with our new characters - especially since they'll be similar in terms of being politically aligned.

    Yeah its good that loyalty is the big thing in this timeline. And yeah, plus this characters gunna be so fun to write and you're fun to write with so its a win/win. ^_^

    I have one character in particular that's occupying most of my interest. She's an ex-Sith, thinking it will have been some time since she left. Ten years or more, maybe. Anyhow, she's a pirate/treasure hunter/gun for hire at this stage in her life. Think I'm gonna wander Indie space for awhile, I think. See where the story-road takes me.

    I'm shooting for a young, ex-Politician wannabe who will most likely end up joining the Jedi Order. He'll start off independent though, probably, so he could definitely run into your character!

    The Chip on his shoulder for the republic comes from the time he spent on the streets watching the publicly televised planets joining the republic. Leaving him feeling like the senate should focus on the planets it already has and help those in it's care rather than expanding.

    So I've made a definite decision to have my character be the child of a Senator which could really make a great story opportunity if he runs into Baan (yo, puns) because of the difference of ideology. My character, Alak, would be all for expansion and all that good stuff, whereas, like you said, Baan is staunchly against it because of his own upbringing.

    Some of them. The ones that use the fancy pants formatting we use, yes. But some folks only use the basic image tags, and those will be left more or less unchanged.
