They weren't why Audroti interfered, he dropped in to find and crush the source of the murdering spree which had involved the Dark Side. In other words he came to arrest Tak who instead of surrendering attacked Audroti.

Force Repulse has a definite end, it extends up to 10 meters. It doesn't continue expanding indefinitely, that is common sense stuff -.-

Mind editing your post in In the Streets as I stated earlier that all the people aside from Audi and Tak had fled the shop when Tak was thrown through the window. As such no one but Tak and the Transhodan would have been effected by the Force Repulse.
