That's allowed. Nakoma is one such character and Vica/Eris is another. You have to understand, if you slip up, use force powers in front of the wrong person, mention something detailed about the cartel to the wrong Jedi...all these things can easily jeopardize your character.

I'm fine with it, as long as you are willing to accept the fact that the Jedi would not condone a trained Jedi Knight using their powers to help advance the commercial and crime interests of the Cartel. If the Jedi find out then you are at their mercy. Any character that knows your character is a Jedi has perfectly valid reason to sell you out if they want to discredit you IC.

You'd need permission from me (which you've got, feel free I say!), TAC, and Lucid/Tom with the funny O who is filling in for the Independent Faction's Administrator who as I understand it also handled all of that. At least Lavi did, I don't think that's changed.
