The way I understand it, all PC troopers will be 501, though not all will be Commando or course, PC navy with be the primary fleet in the works at the moment. This is no gospel mind you, but it's how I've been hearing it from Jiang. As you can tell by the lack of Imperial in the social thread, there is alot of work to be done.

Well actually it's 17 now that Satsuki is in two of the starfighter combat classes, some have been waiting on a post from me for like a month. I'm not a fast RPer, though part of the reason is that I get in so many threads. Speaking of which, Satoryu recently started her 50th thread XD

Yeah, but the droids I have in mind for these weapons will be elite ranged units like a Droideka was. Droideka shielded itself from deflected shots and put fear even in the Jedi with repeated fire. An SMG on a droid that has a similar set up will mean no deflection at all because it throws slugs, and will be a great soft target killer.

No issue with him leading droid squads and such. We'll get there.

In the meantime, I want to buy 100 of these for our Security members and for some special droid I have in the work to be anti-sith bodyguards.

Just keep in mind that a droid army will need to be worked for. Getting a fleet of any kind that isn't just protection will be hard. Our best bet will be to increase production and sales throughout the galaxy first, then justify the increased fleet and purchase of a destroyer as a way to protect shipments.

Or perhaps hire them for quiet jobs, and work our way there eventually. Merge into something big.
