If he hears a report about someone he usually interviews them, or challenges them to 1 on 1 duels. Simply, he hasn't met her yet, and so didn't know she was a former Exile. Is it common knowledge?

Well that sounds like a situation we could RP, to have them meet at least. I didn't know Evee would let her past be an open subject! But, he wouldn't be suspicious of her without good reason, he was a dark sider once too, and Ven does need to speak to Jedi leadership about a few things.
