War was consuming the Galaxy. This was a matter of fact and not opinion; despite these important facts, war was inevitable as the Jedi and Sith battle to be the main power over the Galaxy. There were those that believed peace could restore justice in the Galaxy and that perhaps the Sith and the Jedi could live in harmony if only diplomacy would take the lead. This could be true, however both sides of the war were hellbent on destroying the other, this meant most negotiations would never be considered even in the most understanding of circumstances. Many Sith had their own reasons for wanting the Jedi dead; same goes for most Jedi wanting the Sith dead too - people have their reasons. Carth Renz, he had his reasons...
Carth observed the knight fall of Coruscant from his window. The big City looked sickeningly beautiful, especially at night. Thousands of ships were travelling from one place to the other, all with a destination in mind. It could be home, work, meetings; their purposes were their own. Carth remained hidden in his apartment; he rarely appeared in public in Coruscant as he wanted his identity their to be kept quiet. If the Jedi knew a Sith was in Coruscant, they would surely track him down. The Jedi... their beliefs never did sit well with Carth; he knew full well that their motto's in life were to forgive and forget. He felt like approaching the Jedi Temple and showing them exactly who what a Jedi had done to him. Show them exactly how the protector's of peace had changed him physically for the rest of his life. Carth's robotic limbs would often twitch - they hadn't been installed properly and this meant that despite everything, they would never serve him justice as he would have liked them to. This was one of the reasons why Carth decided to arrive on Coruscant. Not only was he likely to find his Jedi enemy here, he was likely to find someone that could fix his faulty limbs too. He'd heard numerous stories about Jedi and Sith that had just as many abilities despite them missing a limb or two. Sure, Carth needed more than a few simple limbs, but he knew someone on Coruscant could do it.
His airspeeder was sitting in waiting. The black speeder was something Carth used to get around in; it wasn't his, the previous owner of the apartment, who currently was lying dead inside the bedroom, must have been a big fan of airspeeder's as he had three. Just as Carth was about to board the speeder, he heard a familiar voice from behind - "Master, shall I remove the body before your return?" spoke the robotic voice. It was K-0B6-JE3, Carth's protocol droid and his only known companion. If you could call him that. Carth had little time for droids, but JE3 seemed to stick with him throughout his entire vengeance plot against the Jedi that wronged him. Carth turned to the droid - there he stood, all silver with bug-like eyes staring at Carth. This droid was the only person that seen Carth without his mask, cloak and robes in tact. "Yes" responded Carth. He proceeded to climb awkwardly into his speeder and took off away from the apartment. It was the Underworld that Carth was heading - there was a bar there that was sanctuary for many crooks and villains. Carth wasn't familiar with the kind of tradings that went on within the bar, but it was where he would find his contact. You see, Carth had been researching to discover someone with talents in the robotics department to help him repair his limbs, he had little luck but managed to discover a gentlemen who operated in the underworld of Coruscant. Carth arranged to meet him - he wasn't sure what the man would want in return, but he knew that his guard had to be up. He wasn't a push over, but he didn't want to draw attention to himself and he especially didn't want the Jedi knowing he was on Coruscant.
As Carth arrived at the Underworld of Coruscant, he began searching heavily for the logo of the bar he'd been told to meet his contact. The bar "TEEDO's" wasn't an easy one to spot. The Underworld was a darker place than the main district of Coruscant; grim, dark and gritty was the only way it could be described. There was trash everywhere, groups of people gathered in corners exchanging illegal goods out of the watchful eye of the troopers that patrolled the area and most of the buildings were damaged also. Carth discovered Teedo's Diner and immediately parked the airspeeder aside of the building. Teedo's seemed busy, the outside was bustling with activity and laughter could be heard form inside the building itself. Carth walked slowly down the alleyway towards the front of the building, which was located along a large stretch of bars and other diners. Many of the Underworld creatures stared at Carth, he immediately stood out. Cloaked in black and sporting a white mask; his disguise wasn't exactly a subtle one. He avoided eye contact with the passers by and limped into the diner itself. It was busy; hundreds of people were drinking, laughing and joking. Smoke filled the musty air from the diner visitors smoke inhalations and the live band played music; it wasn't a busy, lively music as usually found in these places, the band appeared to be keeping themselves quiet. In fact it appeared as though the band didn't want to be there at all, they looked terrified. They were amongst the only humans in the place. Carth attracted attention as he entered the building. He limped his way into a small corner; the contact arranged to meet him there and it was the perfect spot. As he sat himself down, he looked around the room. These people were definitely beneath Carth; they lacked any kind of grace or intelligence - in fact these people were incapable of being loyal to anyone other than the stuff they were drinking.
Carth's mind turned towards his goal - getting his limbs fixed would make him one of the ultimate powers in the Galaxy. He was held back by the Jedi that injured him. The jedi...Carth didn't even know his name; didn't even know if he was a Master or not. He just knew what he looked like. Carth was going to make him suffer for all that he'd done. The thoughts of the Jedi sent a cold, shivering hatred through Carth's body - the hate made him clench his imperfect robotic limb tightly. To the people around him, he was just heavily cloaked; they couldn't see all the damage he'd received underneath the robes and mask. They didn't see how much he'd suffered. There was again; the cold hatred, like a clump of ice had just moved down Carth's back. It was in Carth's plan to destroy that Jedi, but first...he was here. He needed to get a professional to fix the limbs he had lost, otherwise, he wouldn't be able to take on any Jedi, let alone if this Jedi happened to be a Master...
(OOC: Anyone can join, the Coruscant bar is an open field. Although I'm currently looking for someone to be my characters "contact", so please join if you'd like)
