There’s something remarkably different about SN-1007 a.k.a. 10-Oh-7, but it’s hard to put a finger on it. Well, besides galavanting in Imperial tech with bits of old Stormtrooper armor splashed on. They’re amicable enough for a conversation in the Imperial Mess Hall about their time growing up in Kway Teow. Their mother was a mercenary of some ill repute, and their father worked in an Imperial outpost. One Spice-heavy tryst led to 10’s conception and two parents who had not intended for more than a fling. That’s just the way the lieutenant tells the story, however. Asking some of the other troopers under their command or peers who are in the Imperial Order? You’ll get a different tale every single time. Maybe you’ll hear the one about how 10 worships some old traditions of the Mandalorians, so that’s why they’re never seen without part of that old Stormtrooper helmet cover. Have you heard about how they were raised by Kaleesh? That they have been looking for a large enough animal bone to carve a mask and retrofit over their helmet? Maybe the one about how they’re the unrepentant child of a former Senator. Every chronicle is more curious than the last, and outlandish with each telling.
There is one truth, and it is likely the only one that 10-Oh-7 cares about. They are loyal to the Empire through and through and are proven enough to have command of their own regiment.
Not bad for just another Imperial soldier.
