BIOGRAPHY
The life of a droid is not an easy one. They are kept slaves, and can only hope that someone will consider them more than they would their macro welder. This was what brought me into the career of taking lives. I think.
Some pirate scum... I mean, opportunists, found me on an old spaceship's wreck a few days before we left in this ship. That was called the 'Last Light', my database tells me. As far as my saviors were concerned, it could have been called the 'Last Thing'... they saw, before I tore them to pieces.
It is incredible how little technology has come since my deactivation. That was roughly 100 years ago, if you care. A little studying and I could fly their ship, no problem. It was an old freighter, it might have been older than I am. I know, I don't look a year over 90.
Here's a fun fact; do you know what destroyed the 'Last Light'? It was a civil transport ship, no weapons, no guns. The most valuable target on board was my master, Lady Lia. Not counting the senator of some big, fancy planet. And do you know what was special about Lady Lia? She considered me an equal. That is rare among meatbags. Oh wait, I was going to tell you a fun fact. The person who destroyed the ship was called 'Zuhma Tarex'. You are shocked, imagine me when I pulled these old records off some databank!
Unless Sir Tarex found a way to live forever, unfortunately he is not among us anymore. I would have loved to see him suffer! May he rest in piece. Would have I done it with poison, maybe electric shock? I wonder that myself, every time.
So why am I here now, you might ask. You see, I don't remember much before that 'accident', the one Sir Tarex put me through. Based on my programming I understand I should be for social purposes. Protocol, and what not. I can speak a lot of languages, it is quite interesting. Did you know that the Rodian and Duros words for borborygmus are pronounced the same way? The odds of that are very, very low.
So because I don't know what I was, and many meatbags don't like this question, but who I was, I decided to do something so I wouldn't be bored. And what would be better than finding Sir Tarex's descendants, and slowly killing them?
This is just my luck that the grand-grand children of Sir Tarex was going to be a colonist. Now I'm stuck on this colony ship, who knows for how long. I hear its a problem with the hyperspace engine. Not communicative, that one.
If I think about it, this cryochamber actually did the job instead of me, I should thank it sometime.

EQUIPMENT
Oh, so you're wondering how I would have killed you. You see, this body of mine is actually quite cumbersome. I can't move very fast, my arms get stuck at a certain point when I try to raise it, or move it sideways. This stun gun is called a Stinger Blaster. I didn't want to kill you immediately, so this would have come quite handy. It was on the pirates' ship, the one I told you about earlier.
So I said I was a protocol droid. But that did not explain why I have this needle in my finger on the right hand. You see, there are some canisters in my arm, ones that I can load with substances. The only one I have causes paralysis, I was going to use that on you. Well, this wouldn't have killed you. That would have been the electric pad on my left hand. If I turn it to the right voltage it will cause your heart to stop. The only problem is that it's an old technology, so it takes about 30 seconds to charge up. You are not planning to go anywhere, are you?
