That Darth Caelestis had asked Ruzaan to answer for the actions of the Republic, an orgnization he was not a part of, while also refusing to take any responsibility for the Sith's actions, grated on the Padawan. A clearer image of the Sith Lord was coming into play- Darth Caelestis was a shrewd talker who cleverly maneuvered to gain an advantage, all whilst skating over any accusations against him. He'd managed to put Ruzaan on the defensive for most of the conversation, and the Togruta's best questions had been easily swatted aside or twisted around.
Ruzaan was in the midst of formulating what he thought to be a scathing response when a voice behind him made him jump. The Togruta whirled around, fire extinguisher in hand, and nearly sprayed the Chiss who had joined him in the room flame retardant. Ruzaan had been so focused on his interrogation that he hadn't even heard the door slide open.
He listened as Severus gave an assessment of Darth Caelestis and the Empire- an assessment that Ruzaan disagreed with. However, he tried not to let his thoughts on the matter reach his face. Severus spoke of corruption: how many worlds had Darth Caelestis brought to the Sith with his honeyed words and half-truths? The man was an Akul in Thimar's fur, and Ruzaan internally shuddered at the thought of having to face the Sith Lord in a duel. It was a good thing that he'd been captured; the galaxy was safer without Darth Caelestis' shadow stretching across it.
The Chiss' appearance, however, meant that Ruzaan had gone over his allotted time. He didn't give the Sith Lord anything more than a pitying look before giving a slight nod of the head to his fellow padawan and exiting the room.
