An icy chill crawled down the young Echani's back as he patiently waited for the arrival of the backup he had requested on Ziost. The night's sky betrayed all, pierced by the moon light, which served to illuminate what foliage braved the elements. The eeriness reduced by distant creatures in the night, released from their slumber, rummaging about and breaking the spell that the twin moons cast.
Caelian had spent the better part of a week in search for a hidden group of cultists that had recently taken host on Ziost. Rumours had spread amongst the local spaceports of strange coming and goings from the western part of the planet, something that went unnoticed initially until workers started to be noticed missing. There was little information to go on, but this ancient Sith world held many secrets over the millennia and contained a strong connection to the dark side of the force. He could sense the strength with every breath and felt empowered internally as he imagined the many previous dark side users that had come before him along this very path.
In fact, one of the most powerful Sith in recent history had supposedly - at least according to the Sith records, Darth Sidious or someone on his behalf had uplifted an ancient Sith ritual altar from the planet and had disappeared with him.
Finding the cult would be simple if his hypothesis were correct, or at least was someway connected to this location, but taking it on alone would be too risky. Fortunately he would not have to wait long as the unmistakable sound of a spacecraft descending toward his location broke through, disrupting his thoughts. Master Tiamat's reputation preceded her and Caelian was intent on staying alive, or better yet useful.
Bowing respectfully, he began, "Master Tiamat. The cult at large eludes, as their movements are sporadic and evasive, but I would not waste your time on theory. I have tracked and found a water source that the cult appears to be using, with your guidance, we can seize a member who can lead us directly to their hidden camp amongst these hills." Caelian waited subtly with anticipation for any hint of approval and would follow her lead.
