Rayne's farm
Rayne was hard at work on The Cloud, her other ship, a Nightsweeper - Class Star Yacht parked near by as well. Rayne had already transferred most of the furniture from the Nightsweeper - Class Star Yacht to The Cloud, making it a little more comfortable and homey. It was time now, to remove and replace the more important systems, her idea was to make The Cloud a much more formidable home in the sky. Something she could fully rely on without fail.Local time: 1115 hours

With The Cloud's new military grade power core, Rayne knew it would be able to support the advanced systems she was going to be installing. As a result she set to work with her team to take the parts off the the Nightsweeper that she wanted on The Cloud; there would be three systems to be transferred, leaving the Nightsweeper to be little more than a Shuttle once she was done with it.
Her and her team set to work removing the class one hyperdrive from the Nightsweeper, it took a considerable amount of time to do it carefully, but they succeeded, and began installing it on The Cloud, fitting it in and double checking each and every bolt and wire. The Nightsweeper's navigation computers had been transferred as well, seeing as they were a little more updated than the ones The Cloud had already, they would allow the new hyperdrive to work much more effectively.

After the install was completed, and the computers were checked, it seemed the hyperdrive was in perfect working condition. After a hail of celebration, Rayne and the crew took a short break for lunch, they were only part way done for the day, but were already four or so hours into the job. It would be a long one, but in the end it would be incredibly worth it.
Local time 12:20 hours.
The team returned and set their sights on the Nightsweeper's torpedo tube, she already had one on The Cloud, this would compliant it quite well, though the incoming tube only held two torpedoes, it would still be well worth the install. Once again they worked tirelessly, Rayne beside the crew doing her own work as well as double checking each and every part of the work being done by the others. She wanted nothing to go wrong here today, and each part of the work was taken slowly and surely. The installation of the tube took a little more than three hours, and after running some checks up top to make sure it was hard wired into the system, She headed for the helm to run a test fire, no torpedoes were loaded at the time because that would just be dangerously irresponsible. At the helm, Rayne radioed to her crew, once they confirmed they were ready, she activated the test fire...

A happy sounding call came back from her crew over the comms, and Rayne let out a sigh of relief. The work had been coming along quite nicely..

Rayne had only one system left in mind, the Nightsweeper's shields, having a back up shield system on The Cloud would no doubt prove useful, however the transfer of this system would take a considerable amount of time and effort. The shield generator and its projectors had already been removed from the Nightsweeper, but the install on The Cloud was going to be the tiresome part of this day. Shields systems were not easy to manipulate and each part of the job needed to be handled with delicacy.Night had fallen before the team had completed it's install, but luckily all of work on the exterior had been completed first, leaving just the interior wiring and the install and set of the new shield generator.
Local time: 0220 hours.
Hours had gone by and it was the middle of the night by the time the crew was ready to test the new shields, it would be used as a back up shield, but none the less it needed to work..(Dice)
Rayne cheered as she heard the shields crackle and whirr as they kicked in, surrounding the ship in a soft glow of green before turning transparent again. It seemed the instlliation had all gone to plan, and each part was successful.. at least for now..
