It was a bright and sunny day on Lothal. The sun hung lazily in the clear sky, Lothcats frolicked around in the plains, and Serah had just finished her morning chores. While her mother was in town buying supplies for the farm, the power converters had gone out again, Serah had tagged along to see her Wookiee friend, Arribacca. The two meter tall Wookiee was unloading a heavy crate from a speeder when Serah showed up.

“Hey Arri!” she said, “Wanna go exploring when you’re done?”

Arribacca set the crate down before giving Serah an affirmative growl.

Meanwhile not too far from Arribacca’s place, a shady looking Rodian with green scaly skin and buggy black eyes paced back and forth over in an empty warehouse waiting for his contact. He was aiming to sell the place to a prospective buyer, but he was nervous. It wasn’t exactly in the best of neighborhoods but he was pretty sure the offworlder didn’t know, and he wasn’t about to tell him. He just wanted to get this deal done and be out of there.

The Sel'kath landed on the grey concrete, steam rolling of the vessel. He pushed up on the cockpit and stepped out. He clicked a button ejecting the droid from his place. The droid carried all the money he needed to purchase the asset. He looked over at a wookie, and a human communing. He nodded to them and walked off raising his hand for a taxi to take him 2 blocks off to a warehouse. The driver looked at him oddly but none the less the sound of credits was enough to make him risk it.

Serah was in the middle of playing a game of hopscotch by herself when she noticed a strange creature that she’d never seen before nod towards her and Arribacca. Arri acknowledged him as he got into a speeder and headed off somewhere. Serah was if nothing else a curious creature and her inquisitive nature was piqued. As Arribacca finished his work, he noticed the look on her face and sighed. He knew that look and that meant trouble was afoot, for him at least.

Back at the empty warehouse the Rodian, who went by the name of Esdo, continued his pacing back and forth waiting for his buyer to arrive. He was, needless to say, extremely jittery, twitching at the slightest sounds or movement. His nervousness however, was well founded as this area was a well known hotspot for spice runners and gang activity. Esdo let out a sigh of relief as he saw the speeder pull up and the Selkath get out. He rubbed his hands together eager for the deal to get underway.

Selona stepped out of the cab and payed the man. He scrunched his eyes looking at the number of the warehouse and walked in. He looked at the sunset and yawned. He stepped in and looked over at the rodian. He nodded at him but making sure to have his finger on his gun. He looked at the rodian and smiled. "Hello, are you the man." He asked watching the mans movement carefully.

“Greetings Good Sir,” Esdo said raising a welcoming hand, “You may call me Esdo,” Esdo added with a sniff, “I do believe you are here to… purchase this fine building yes?” Esdo was savvy with his words, at least he liked to think he was. After the introductions were out of the way, he would lead Selona around the warehouse attempting to sell the place to him.

Meanwhile in a certain shady alleyway a group of five gangsters well armed with blaster pistols or whatever they could get their hands on waited for Esdo to give the signal. These not so prominent members of society were a well known hit and run gang on Lothal. They would mark their target and set up an ambush if the buy that was going down seemed at all profitable like this one was. Their informant had been good and the Selkath looked to be easy pickings for them, all that was needed was for Esdo to give the signal and they would charge in blasters blazing.

Half a block away now, Serah was quite interested in the Selkath that had picked up the taxi. To begin with she had never seen one, Lothal didn’t get many visitors from water worlds such as Mannan. Her intuition told her that this would be a good one to know if she and Arribacca could find him again. She wasn’t too worried however, Serah was great at finding things, especially things that didn’t seem to want to be found. Also as long as Arri was there with her, she felt like she could go anywhere.

The Sel'kath followed the man smiling. He nodded, the place would make a good cantina. Two levels for extra profit and it seemed like it was pretty structurally stable. "And what was the price we settled on again?" He asked looking over at the door.
