Skaut walked into the club owned by a man named Kalvin Thumas. The beat of the music playing seemed like war drums, ar the heavy footsteps of soldiers on the march to war. He knew of the place well, but the owner...was like a ghost. He only knew of the methods he used to get such a club, or at least the stories. Torture, mind control, murder, thievery. All of those things Skaut knew fairly well. His black cloak flapped behind him as he walked towards the bar.
"A drink, something strong." He said to the bartender. He sat down at what seemed like the only open stool in the whole club. While the bartender was making drinks and tending to customers, he had enough courage to let his mask and hood down, his scars seemed to glow in the blacklights.

His collar however hid the right side of his face is you you looked at it from the side. He sighed, the killing of his father was all over the news at this point. He knew that Soran would scold him for leaving witnesses to find the body. He didn't care. He studied the club, the people dancing, having a good time, getting hammered way past the legal limit. He just sat there...he stood out because of his black cloak and red and black armor.

The steady boom, boom, boom of the club seemed to drown out all the other sounds that were happening. One man stumbled around, finding a woman and walking over to her. He chuckled. 'There's only one way that can go.' He thought to himself and the bartender handed him his drink. He thanked the barkeep and took a sip of the drink. He raised up his head a little. "Wow, that is strong." He said and set the glass down. He had almost forgotten where he was until he snapped back to reality as he heard the beat intensify, like it was pulsing to him. He took another sip of his drink.

He remembered a lot. Felucia, the apartment building, his father's corpse. He hated them all. He wanted to drown them out, forget about them entirely. He took another sip of the drink in front of him.

Kalvin stood behind the bar, he rarely did work when he was back here but enjoyed the view. A young Sith came in with a glassy look and he gave off waves of emotion ranging from happiness to anger to confusion...time to play. "Problems? You look like you have a lot on your mind.", he knew the answer, but still did not want to force the young man to talk. Kalvin made a drink for himself and watched the Sith.

"One could say that. One could also say that at some point tonight, my teacher is going to come through that door and lecture me about 'remembering myself'." He took another sip of his drink. "Then after he's done with me, he'll get completely drunk and hire prostitutes in a rented room in some run-down motel." He scoffed dryly. "Same could be said for my father...but he passed." He smirked. "Some say it was mysterious."

"Oooo, cryptic. Well you don't have to worry about having a lesson here, this is a club not a classroom. As for your father...well I would say sorry but something tells me that you are not.", what an angry young man. This could be interesting to say the least, "Oh and I don't see what is wrong with your teacher having a good time, as long as he follows the rules." The last words were said without the same cheerful tone, Kalvin needed this young man to understand that he was welcome to spend his money there but only if he could abide by the rules.

Skaut looked up at Kalvin. "Rules? Hey...I swear I've seen your face somewhere before." He tried to remember where he saw Kalvin's face. "It'll come to me." He said this and remembered Felucia. "You ever hear of a building explosion of Felucia? A tragedy, isn't it?" He chuckled...but not with his normal tone. It held the Dark Side in a major way. "You know...they say found evidence of foul play and murder." His voice now held the Dark Side, and he loved it. His normally ice blue eyes were now a sort of blood red. Felucia didn't scare him anymore. He embraced it. "Mass...murder."

Kalvin smiled, "I watched a few reports on it, as long as it didn't happen here. As for who I am, my name is Kalvin Thumas, I own the building you are sitting in." He smiled as he watched the young man drink, "The real question is why would a Sith care about a building in the middle of nowhere blowing up or the people inside?" The bar owner continued to watch the man and sipped his own drink, well that was terrible, this is why he was not a bartender.

"You remember that teacher I told you about? That was my lesson in loss." He said, taking another sip of his drink. "Ah, Kalvin Thumas, now I remember! You know...people tell stories about you. They're pretty good." He finished off his drink. "You can make a mean drink, you know that?" At this point, it was only time and patience before he was a Marauder.

"Stories? Well please do tell me what they say about me?", he looked at the drink that the boy was having with an amused expression. Kalvin knew the stories every last one. "Your teacher sounds interesting. Better than mine when I studied the dark side." , ah that took him back. He was just a boy when that training began but now it seems so distant he could barely recall the faces of those around him when he trained. He snapped back to reality, "So about those storied tell me.", this was not a request but an order, one Skuat would follow even if he didn't want to.

"They read like a mystery/horror novel. Murder, thievery, mind control." He chuckled a little. "That last one kills me." He looked into Kalvin's eyes. All he was smoke and mirrors. "But my teacher, though..." He smirked. "You would like him...if he were even on this planet. And I guarantee that he knows about this club. He knows any place that has booze and women nearby in the whole territory."

Kalvin laughed a deep loud laugh, "Murder? Thievery? Those are some good stories." He smiled at the Sith, it was not happiness it was something else, "Tell you what drinks are on the house tonight for you. I have not had a good laugh like that in a while." Kalvin snapped his fingers and a young human woman came from the other side of the bar, "You are this man personal bartender tonight, anything he wants you get. Do not serve other customers tonight he is your only job." He turned back to Skaut, "I did not catch your name."

"Skaut Heralok. Sith Acolyte. Need anyone killed in the territory...I'll do some work under the table." He noticed the lack of happiness in the man's smile. He detected a sort of deception at play here...his own, or Kalvin's he couldn't tell, which was dangerous. "By any chance do you know anyone by the name of Soran?" This place was dangerous, and the owner was even more so. He only knew one thing about Kalvin for certain. He would kill Skaut given the chance, and he and Soran would have a good laugh about it. Whether he wanted to or not. He looked at the young bartender. He guessed her in her 20's maybe. "Strong liquor." He watched her run off to get his drink.

"Can't say I do. Heralok...that name sounds familiar, but I can't quite place it. Hmm, oh well.", his eyes narrowed, not to threaten the young man but more to think about what he just said. After a moment he blinked and shook his head, "Do I seem like the kind of person that needs to have someone killed? I am just a simple business man trying to make his way in the galaxy." Of course he did not need someone killed, they can do that themselves. "You seem quite interesting though, come with me. Bring the bartender as well.", again not a request, a command. Kalvin walked away from the bar towards the stairs in the back of the club, making his way to his personal space.

Skaut motioned for the bartender to come with them. He followed Kalvin to his private area. This was the part to become slightly worried. The private space of a club owned by one of the most shady and mysterious men in the galaxy has to be some sort of trap. "How'd you get your...how shall I say...golden tongue?" He asked, knowing about these dangerous waters. He fully expected to die here as well if he heard Kalvin say how.

Kalvin smiled as he had a seat, "That is a rather blunt question, but one I will humor. My golden tongue comes from the Force." He calmly watched out the window overlooking the bar, "You have a lot of questions about me. I find that odd, especially for someone that just killed their own father." His eyes snapped to the young Sith, he knew that look and emotion, it was the same look that Kalvin had the day he had his parents kill each other. "You and I have that in common, or at least that is what the reports say. In reality I never harmed either of my parents, I asked them to do it for me.", he waited on a retort to the brutal honesty.
