Felucia
Across the entire galaxy, there are thousands upon thousands of different types of pirates. Some follow a more civil style of piracy, the one where they threaten you with violence but only steal from you when you surrender. Other crews are only together due to a strong personality of the captain, others a need for protection similar to how gangs can form to fight off larger gangs. Then there are the pirates that are like what people picture when you say pirates, not the ones made into semi anti-heroes by the holovids but the people that gut a ship and leave the people they come across floating in space forgotten, and their faces frozen in fear and agony forever a warning to the void that those lost in it to stay lost.

Which is why I came back to the planet that housed a hidden base of pirates that had wronged me. The captain a Quarrren man named Pow, a cruel man that on more then one occasion singled me out and tried to have me killed on more then on occasion. If not for my new buddies in the Sith then I would have been just another one of his victims. Sure I might have picked my fair share of fights between the two of us, but I was just a young man trying to prove himself and Pow had the toughest crew around that I knew of. Maybe I wanted to much, pushed to much but to try and use me as some expendable grunt was just not going to fly with me. Not if I planned on making my mark on this galaxy, old grudges most be made even. I even called in a favor with another Sith to help me with this.

"This is personal for me, once this is done I know that I will owe you one."
Turning to my new ally, I wore the dark robes close to me, despite the heat I found the discomfort to be useful.

If I wanted to be something I needed to trade in everything for power, and favors were sometimes even better then credits. An while this was personal some small part of me knew this would be important for future events. Pow was known around in many circles, once I have gotten enough pull I will use this day as a warning. A show of what happens when I am crossed, when Sith are crossed. I just need to get a few key people willing to listen, and prepare a few carrots before I made my move to become a major player in the pirate game. An hopefully my new ally will be there to see it, and when it is time to repay the debt I will bring all that I have. Just like how a crew should work.

"I don't plan on keeping anything from here, I would like to use it later as a warning when I start creating my own crew. So if there is anything you find that is worth something you can have it. But don't expect much this is where they park to wait for a ships that stray to far from the hyperlane."
Out in the horizon was a spot wide enough for a nice size corvette to land, which was where I am sure my target was.

The heat and the humidity of the jungle world irritated Maeve, her charcoal robes were sticking to her skin and she heavily sweating behind the mask that completely engulfed her face. He seemed sincere though, recognizing he will certainly owe her one after this and a part of her wondered if he should have owed her two. However, maybe it will worth her time, it had been a while since she purged any groups. She recalled her early training years when her Master begun her saber training, armed gangs were ideal because they would not hold back. She wondered if pirates were the same, would it bring a moment of nostalgia for the woman? Maeve could only hope.

She glanced at Rakim, "I'm eager for a good stretch." she told him as she reached for her lightsaber. "Is there anyone you want me to save for your own hand?" she asked him, glancing at him through the eye cuts of her mask. "Just the Quarren?" For some that was the most gratifying, to have the final say in their enemy's life, Maeve could understand, she would want the same if someone had crossed her in a way that was unforgivable.

It was kind of her to ask who I would like to kill personally was such a heart warming gesture that it made me glad to have asked for her aid in this. For I had a feeling she and I had much in common. Still in the end I don't need the kill just the knowledge of Quarren's death would be good, my own personal joy wasn't the important thing for tonight the destruction off a rival was all that matters.

"Just the Quarren, but if its a choice of letting him escape or ending him. I rather not run the risk of him escaping. Though we should allow maybe a small handful to escape to spread what happens here today. Would be good for rumors to spread of the terror those with the red blades could bring."
Sure my partner might not be fully into that idea but regardless either the total destruction or a few survivors to spread the horror of what happened this day.

I started walking towards the base of the pirates, the base was just a scattering of tarps and makeshift buildings that housed members of the crew enjoying spice and other luxuries that would make many of them rather simple to kill. Which I figured striking now would be best, when they relax and wait for a target for them to strike at.

The forest of Felucia was thick and would conceal our approach, so it would give them a chance to scout the area before the slaughter could begin. As much as I love to cause violence I knew when it needs to be channeled in a more effective route and going head long into a camp of pirates even if they were drunk and high could still be a problem.

"As we approach we should scout the edge of the camp just to make sure we can find a good angle to attack from."
The promise of violence caused the creeping darkness within me to flare, the dark side pushing me forward.

Dark deeds will be committed today, a promise to the dark side and my future rivals and enemies of what will happen when I am denied or fought against.

Once we get close I am going to start using dice to determine the outcome of the fight.

Maeve grinned from under her mask, "Then you better find the Quarren before I do." she told him. If these pirates were as ruthless as he described them to be, she was certain if backed into a corner, he would fight until the end. However, they are pirates and Maeve had a bar set low for honor among pirates. He could eventually forfeit his entire crew to a massacre for the exchange of his own life and certainly that would be unfortunate, but always a possibility. However, his suggestion of letting a few escape to announce the terror they experienced did not sit well with her, it sounded a bit too compassionate. Something that Maeve was not interested in, she did not believe herself to be a vigilante, that was something she believed the Jedi did.

They silently moved around the camp, careful not to disturb the natural beasts who lived in these jungles. Though Maeve was certain the presence of two darksiders was enough to keep any other living creatures away as they hunted. It would be less work and make the job more enjoyable. Rakim eventually paused, and so did Maeve, he suggested one more round to find a good angle and the woman frowned from behind her mask.

"Its a makeshift camp, I don't think they expecting anyone to bother them, we should be good at any entry point." she told him, grasping her saber at just the right angle, ready to ignite her blade. "Whenever you give the word, I'm ready."

Seem like Maeve was competitive which suited him just fine. She was planning on having fun with the pirates here, something that I was going to do as well. Sure the crew of the Quarren has probably changed much since I was here last and had never done me any wrong, and the thought of their struggle would still bring me a smile. As the two finally got the outside of the camp I could see dozens of them laying about.

They were talking, drinking and enjoying themselves unaware of any threat to them. Believing their hiding spot and numbers would keep them safe from the wild that surrounded them. Today was going to be a red day for any that might survive. Turning to Maeve, she was correct that they wouldn't get any better of a spot to ambush them, though I did like to get into the best position before every fight. But I didn't want to waste time just to end up making Maeve angry. Pulling out my own blade I turned to Maeve with a cruel smile.

"Lets have fun."
Standing up and walking into the camp letting the dark side flow into me, looking at several barrels of fuel or alcohol didn't matter I twisted the Force within me and letting a small burst of lightning out of my left hand at them causing a burst of flames burning several pirates nearby and drawing their attention to it.

A twisted, ugly laugh came out of me, looking at the pirates that began to pull out their blasters I activated my lightsaber the red blade glow casting my face in a dark red light. I was ready for the fun that will happen now, hoping to draw the attention of the Quarren and go straight for him.

This seemed entirely a little too easy, but it was expected among pompous galactics as they acted as though they owned the galaxy, when in fact they did not. As they emerged from their observation points and toward the base camp, Rakim would give her, and possibly himself the permission they needed to enjoy this situation. Unlike Rakim, Maeve did not ignite her saber, but still grasped it tightly as she looked upon the startled faces of the pirates. It would be once the shock of their appearance wore off, Maeve was certainly they had some anger underneath their fear of the appearance of saber wielding wizards. However, it would not be enough to save them as they now cowardly looked for an option out. There were those who decided they could fight them and disappeared into their shelters in order to find their weapons.

The dark woman grasped the Force like a hook and line as she pulled several of them off their feet in front of her, her saber igniting into the back of one closest to her as she walked passed him and headed to the others who quickly looked to regain their footing. The second quickly turned around at the sound of bottles shattering by the will of Rakim's power in the dark side, though his eyes would widen and unfocused as the woman shoved her saber violently up through his chest cavity.

Maeve spun, her senses alerting her to a moment of undeniable danger and her saber spun quickly to deflect several bolts back at a pirate who thought he could get an upper-hand. She was relishing in this massacre: fear, surprise, regret, anger - Maeve had to certainly believe she was having fun.

The dark side was a power that gave one joy in the evils and cruelty, in base desires of feeling powerful and in control. So as I walked deeper into the camp the pirates began charging at me, none had any plan in mind. So dealing with them wasn't that difficult a few slashes here and there, avoiding any bolts by putting the other pirates in front of me. It wasn't difficult there was at least close to sixty or so individuals here. There was definitely going to be too many at a certain point, but that was later for now he focused on my enemy on at a time.

Sending a bolt into the shoulder of another pirate, I could hear them screaming and calling out. They couldn't use their ships weapons against us or they would kill their own allies. Of course pirates aren't known for caring so I had to watch out just in case. A Rodian man screaming the whole time came rushing at me with a vibroaxe, like a barbarian, and just like the uncivilized man he was I did him a favor of removing his head. Now that he needed it or anything.

From what I could see though there were dozens of tents and now dozens of pirates bringing in heavier weapons rather then what was right next to them. Which meant I was going to have to find some cover, I didn't need to worry about warning Maeve. If she was worth anything she would notice and be able to take care of herself.

Going into a full sprint into one of the makeshift huts, two pirates were inside currently searching for something. Most likely weapons, but the place was a mess and before they could find them the two sadly met a quick fate. Flashes of memory came to me of when I was a a younger man, pirating using whatever I had. Early in my career I didn't have a blaster and just used a makeshift blade. Sadly my lightsaber didn't keep the blood on it like my old knife but at least there wasn't a mess to clean up afterwards. Cutting a hole in the wall I climbed out watching the pirates frantically running about trying to hunt the two Sith in their camp.

As Rakim went his separate way, the dark woman headed toward the outer perimeter of the camp, looking to interrupt attempts for any of the pirates in their ability to escape. There was an occasional blaster bolt that was fired in her direction, but with a quick flick of her wrist, the red plasma beam ricocheted the bolt just as chaotically as her own presence at the Felucian camp. She paused for a moment, closing her eyes to focus on her senses. They did their best to hide from her, but with the Dark side at her calling, weeding out such low-life scum made it entirely too easy.

Though with the feelings Maeve sensed, there seemed more like an urgency of cowards. Her fingers outstretched as she pressed them against the wall of the tent, feeling for a moment as though she were searching inside; gently she had glided them along until she came to a stop and ignited her saber into the wall of the prefabricated shelter. There was a yell inside and Maeve tore her saber down, to the side and up, creating herself an entrance.

The body that she had pierced was nearly bisected as she climbed inside, one pirate unleashing a volley of bolts, but with a snap, purple streaks of lightning extended from her finger tips, blasting back the pirate.

The last pirate, a Quarren ran out the door in panic.
