Maria looked at the human blankly. He was right. She wasn't showing any concern despite the fact she had stood and watched as an absolute psychopath had murdered hundreds of people. That was... She couldn't put a word on it. Disturbing, yes, most certainly. She'd done bad things before, everyone had. But she'd never... She'd never done anything that was just evil. And that made her scared. But she couldn't show him that. So she tilted her head to the rock Faltron-Dur was hiding behind.
"He was getting off on it."
And she left it at that, watching the other one instead. There was something about her, and the fact the human had called her 'Master' that made Maria frown. She didn't reply to the human again. She hadn't dragged Tariak into this. That was all Faltron-Dur's doing. A lot of things were, actually...
Which is why she grinned slightly when Faltron-Dur was pulled away. He'd pissed himself. She hated that man a fair deal. He'd just doubled his kill count and he wasn't sobbing his eyes out. Screaming in terror, yes, (a sound that reminded her of steel being cut open by Tariak's claws) but not crying like Maria felt like doing. She listened to the Jedi's questions and knew that it was too vague for him to answer. Still. He'd be no great loss to the galaxy as a whole.
She turned her head to look at the woman, just as she spoke.
"Hard enough to do, that. Muscle and sinew don't tear easily, and don't get me started on the spine..."
Her little jokes was her way of stopping herself crying. But it wasn't working, not really. She was terrified right now. She watched the Jedi approach and held her gaze, as difficult as that was.
"There was six of us."
Faltron-Dur started to scream even louder, this time directed at her.
"YOU TRAITOR BITCH!"
Maria glared at him, and then the other Jedi. The male.
"Please drop him."
The rage contained in her voice was easy to hear. She wanted him dead. But she had to answer the one interrogating her.
"Faltron-Dur there, the one that should disgust you, thought up of this little trap. Horano down in Anuub has probably dealt with your ship. There's two more. Another human and a Falleen. The human's called Edgard, he didn't give any other name. The Falleen's a female named Losith or something. I haven't met either of them. I don't know what they were planning, but Horano in Anuub knew everything. If you can get him to talk you're safe. But..."
She heard the sirens and she knew.
"Run, I'd say. Run as fast as you can. But before you do, kill that bastard."
She gestured towards Faltron-Dur.
"He's a mass murderer. He poisoned a well of a village, killed his entire research group and this whole thing was his idea. Kill him. Please, I'm begging you."
Her voice cracked towards the end. Faltron-Dur's screaming grew louder and louder at her requests. She hoped they'd listen.

The Knight gripped the shirt of the man tighter as he struggled and shouted, almost as if the man was a giant child throwing a crazed temper tantrum. Arkantos kept his focus as he moved through the slope, looking as the Jedi Master moved to heal the near-dead Trandoshan. He doubted the Zeltron was much of a healer, those types were usually a bit more refined and elegant, at least that was his conceived notion of healers, learned sage-types. Still, the Trandoshan was sure to feel somewhat better, if not to calm a little the intensity from the injury.

While Arkantos truthfully would have no problem killing the mass-murdering mastermind, Arkantos had no intention of doing so, especially right now, it would only disturb his focus to move forward, this would merely be a bump if not in their mission, but in his progress. Killing him wouldn't bring those people back, nor would it bring him any sort of true peace, he'd have to keep him alive, despite the small tingle of urge in the back of his mind that thought about riding the Galaxy of a truly awful sentient, but he stayed quiet instead of dropping him over the ridge of the path. He slid the begging and shrieking man-child, as he reached for his whipcord upon his utility belt. He quickly pulled it out, and easily tossing them over the wrist of the man, tying him up, as he dragged his now-tied hands, and wrapped the remainder of his whip cord on the heavily injured Trandoshan.

He turned to the Jedi Master as the woman quit speaking, "Well, she doesn't know much, which means she was hired. Someone with enough money to give this psychopath enough support to build something this crazy, and cause this much damage." the Jedi continued to think, wondering what kind of animal would truly go this far to lure Jedi, whoever it was, well, they'd have to be as crazy as Fultron-Dur, and truthfully, if Arkantos met whatever was this evil to aid in plotting this, he didn't think he'd be as merciful. Arkantos looked at the woman on the floor, "You're going to help us move out of here, and you're going to show us where to find the people responsible for this. It'll be the first step to atoning for your actions today." the Jedi said, as he pulled the two tied up villains into the cave where the machine was found. "We can stay and fight, or we can move, either way, I doubt we won't be followed. Our best tactical move is to stay and fight in an enclosed place, we just need to find cover, or make it." he counseled to the Jedi Master, "Your call, Von." he reassured to the Jedi Master letting her know it was ultimately her decision to lead.
