The rumble of the avalanche could still be heard beyond the doorway as the pair slammed it shut, leaving them alone in the quiet, empty ruins of this ancient Jedi temple, now half buried beneath the snow. As the noise abated the pair were left to the entrance hall of a now dormant hold. The building seemed to stretch further back into the mountain, built deep into the stone, protected from the elements and far more besides.

What those ancient Jedi had done near they knew little, only the rumours and snippets gleaned from the archives, research, building, more besides from the sounds of it. That was why this place was so vital to discover, the possibility of knowledge long forgotten was one they could not refuse, not in the position the Order found itself in now. Such information could no longer wait, trapped below the ice.

Though how they would find it would be another question entirely.

The hall itself seemed to split off, down stairs and off in various directions. Statues carved into the stone of forgotten masters, a fresco on the high roof above depicting Jedi and their misbegotten dark brethren in a battle Vollen did not recognise. How strange a place it was, how beautiful it might have been, in its own way, many years ago.

For now though, their presence went unannounced. If anything was left to guard this place it didn't awake to their presence just yet.
