Volume 1- Incompetence
If I had learned anything throughout my years at Imperial Intelligence and through my long life experience, it was that Incompetence was the worst trait. Incompetence in any govermental organization was a factor, among many that would bring that organization crumbling down. Incompetence was such a unseen enemy and could strike at any moment. Incompetence could be seen from anyone, no one was safe from this evil non-physical object. One terrible characteristic of Incompetence was that anyone could carry this quality. This could even be seen within the mighty Imperial Bureaucracy. The Imperial Empire is filled with so many fearless and loyal men and women that it is quite impossible to completely tell whether or not someone was Incompetent or not. As seen by the attack by the terrorists on the Nubia facility, a fellow agent at Intelligence was able to witness and observe the results of the attack, and observe the sole person responsible for allowing the attack, the Director. Fortuantly this agent spotted that the Director's Incompetence was what enabled the terrorists to attack the facility with little opposition. With permission from a Sith who was also observing the scene, the agent suggested that the Director should be stripped of his rank and sent to a prison camp for Insubordination and Incompetence. The Sith agreed, and rewarded the agent with a slight promotion to acting Director until a proper officer could be selected and transfered to fill this role. Some say the punishment the Director recieved was harsh. I and many others say that the Director deserved the consequenses he recieved, if not the sentece should be plain execution. The Director cost the Imperial a humiliating defeat, resources and money, and most importantly the men and women injured or harmed performing their duty. Let this example show any person can be corrupted and fall.

Volume 2- Arrogance
Arrogance comes in many forms. Wether it be greed, selfishness, or a strong feeling of importance within oneself, these all are bad traits. Arrogance is typically found witin the higher echelons of a society or group. Within the Imperial Bureacracy, this power desire can be found in Moffs or Grand Moffs, who desire to pile even more power and influence upon them, making the little men do all the dirty work.
