Well the first job had gone exceeding well, now it was just down to this... Rayne had checked her gear for the fifth time in the last thirty minutes, she wanted to be absolutely sure she was ready when it was time. Her partner @Drace Solus was in the cargo hold next to her, and they'd found somewhere to land the ship only a half block away! So far, things were going well, although all they'd done was park, so who really knew?

The place had closed about half an hour ago, and @Drace Solus and her were about to make their move, as soon as he was ready they would make their way over there. Stealth was the plan for this job, but Rayne was bringing her full armament just to be sure.

We ready? Rayne asked her partner, hoping for a yes.

Drace eyed looked out the window at the alley they'd parked in, at the same time holstering his pistol. It was a clear but dark night, the sky bearing telltale marks of the Mandalorian-induced disaster from a few months ago. It felt like forever ago. Back then, Solus was still on the rise, and Drace was still running errands in Mando space, spectating everything Raz did in awe. He'd always wanted to be one of them, the Mandalorians that ran around the galaxy conquering, and now here he was. Robbing banks was small for him. He'd traveled to more planets in the past few months than in his entire life. He'd even learned how to pilot.

"We ready?"

He was snapped out of his thoughts by Rayne, who was as impatient as she'd been over Kashyyyk. He hoped she wouldn't be as trigger happy now as she had been then, for the sake of both of them. The bank they were about to rob had closed half an hour ago, but the tellers would stick around for another half until everything was sorted and they could go home. They certainly weren't expecting to get robbed in the dead of the night.

Drace turned away from the window, looking at Rayne and nodding. "Yeah, we ready." He slid his helmet on and shook his whole body, warming up for the hit. They were in Imperial space and at open war with the Sith, so his helmet was symbolic in this. The Mandalorian exited the ship and then walked down the street, not a drop of hesitation in his step. He reached the doors of the bank and burst them open with the heel of his right boot, rifle in his hands.

"This is a robbery!" He threw a bag at the nearest teller and then pointed his gun at the man. "Fill this up with credits and keep your hands off any special buttons, unless you want them blown off." To prove his point, he shot the only security guard in the building, who was staring at him in shock. Three bolts hit the man's chest, and he dropped like a sack of potatoes. The tellers—all three of them—gasped, but seemed shocked into submission.

Rayne walked behind the man, opting to let him take the lead here, Oh kriff.. Rayne thought, two seconds into the job and someone had already been shot. Rayne was holding both of her blaster pistols up, one in each hand as she bull rushed the teller stands and jumped behind them, a blaster trained on each of the two closes ones.

You heard the man! Rayne yelled through her Kelborn clan painted helmet, hopefully this job would be quick and easy..

The tellers jumped a bit at her words, and combined with @Drace Solus's blaster fire they began working feverishly to fill the bag he'd thrown at them with all sorts of currencies.

Good.. good.. Rayne thought. So far it was going alright..

Drace watched them filling up the bags, no further resistance put up. It wasn't surprising; these were small-town tellers, not used to having a gun pointed in their faces. If they'd tried to rob something like the Imperial bank on Coruscant, they'd find themselves filled with plasma before they even entered.

One of them seemed to take his eyes off the bag for a second, and Drace trained the barrel of his blaster on the man. "Eyes on the prize. Look anywhere else again and I'll carve them out." His beskad hung on his belt, looking more menacing than before. Needless to say, the teller didn't have any more distractions after that.

Drace hooked the tip of his boot around one of the chairs near him and yanked it toward him, sitting down without moving his eyes off the tellers. His gun remained in his arms, only difference being that he was more comfortable now. He looked up at the paintings behind the tellers every once in a while—there was a layer of glass in front, which showed him what lay behind him. If anyone came from the street, Drace would notice and instantly be up on his feet.

Fhtagn, why don't do this more often? Rayne silently asked herself, the ease of the overtly outlaw style heist getting to her. There had to be something wrong, the bag was nearly full, Rayne had moved closer to the teller who'd glimpsed in the opposite direct for a moment, her heavy blaster trained right on the back of his head from a distance of about a meter.

Fill her to the brim boys, we're almost done here, dont get any ideas that'll make you end up joining that security man.. Rayne said to the tellers. Rayne looked up at @Drace Solus for a second, she wasn't comfortable with how smooth it was all going, smooth being a relative term as a man was already dead. But in general, it was going by too easy, and fast. Not that she had a problem with this, in fact she preferred it..

Quick, simple, and to the point. The best possible way things could go when doing such a sensitive job. Drace loved war, and he loved the mess and chaos of it all, but he preferred that things like bank heists and prison breaks went by smoothly, for the sake of his time—he didn't want to end up in the very jail he tried to free. It would be easy for things to go south.

One of the tellers stopped filling the bag and looked up up sheepishly, his face pale. Drace glared back, his expression hard set on a poker face behind his helmet. The guy was clearly about to shit himself, but he somehow managed to speak. "B-bag's f-f-full," he stuttered, then lifted it up so Drace could see. The other two tellers nodded in agreement, lifting their bags up.

Drace nodded. "Throw the bags over the counter toward me." He waited, watching the tellers decide what to do. They thought they'd get in trouble for this, somehow. It was laughable for the war-hardened Mandalorian, who couldn't imagine a lifestyle like theirs—living in fear, not knowing what your bosses will do to punish you. He shot his blaster rifle into the wall behind the teller in the center, and they all sprung in to action, throwing the bags over the counter and ducking behind it. Motion behind him.

He ducked, taking cover behind a chair, and just in time. Blaster fire poured through the windows, shattering them and burning holes into the wall behind the cowering tellers. Drace returned fire, aiming for the officers' general direction. "Whoever pressed the panic button is gonna have a reason to panic!" he called out from behind cover.

One of the tellers must of hit the button as soon as the security guard died for the law to have shown up so fast, Damnit! Rayne cursed loudly, pulling both triggers and killing two of the tellers instantly, one of which had been prey to her renegade heavy blaster pistol, and the pure devastation that it cause to a body was something Rayne was still getting used to, the body left behind was more of a burning husk and goo pile than a body.

Rayne ducked and was level with the curled up teller that remained, Was it you!?! Rayne yelled at the last living teller, his terrified scream as Rayne stuck both blasters in his face didn't really tell her anything, he could be scared cause he's guilty, or just scared cause theres a hardened criminal with two blasters pointed at his face. In any case, Rayne tilted her blaster sideways and slammed the man so hard on the side of his head he bounced off the side of the teller desk and fell still on the ground, he wasn't dead, but would be down for at least the rest of the time Rayne was here.

Rayne peeked over the counter, I count five! She yelled to her partner in crime, things had gotten sticky quick.

Drace wouldn't be able to stick around behind the chair for long. Already, he could notice the wear that the blaster bolts were causing. The seat had almost melted, and it would suck to be behind it when that happened. The Mandalorian used one hand to grab a riot grenade off his belt and hurl it into the crowd of officers. Tear gas began billowing out, and the room slowly filled with it. Drace had a filter in his helmet, which should keep his lungs safe. He lifted his thermal scope and looked through it, shooting down three of the guards while they hunched over to choke. The other two were on the street in front of them, having noticed the gas being thrown.

He threw the chair aside and vaulted over the counter, a few meters away from Rayne and the tellers. Blaster bolts pounded into the wall over him, but the Mandalorian remained unfazed. He set his rifle up on the counter, taking aim to shoot once more. He wasn't sure if Rayne had a filter, so they would need to hurry up before the gas reached them behind the counter.

Switching her pistols for her repeater, Rayne sent the majority of the magazine down range toward the guards. She heard one hit the ground, and the cessation of incoming fire indicated she'd found her mark, or they were retreating for now.

The gas was creeping toward the counter they were behind, Rayne looked to the left, and blasted out the window there, she then picked up one of the bags and started, running and jumped through the window, signaling for @Drace Solus to follow suit. Outside she saw one of the law men on his knees choking and holding his side, Rayne fired one bolt into the mans leg for good measure and he flattened out on the ground no longer moving. Her repeater was now out, and she slung it back around her back, her heavy Pistol would be easier to operate with one hand anyway.

They had a straight shot to the ship and just needed to make it before more showed up, Book it! Rayne said as she started taking off, her bounty held with an iron grip in her left hand.

Drace rose and vaulted over the counter, snatching the bag of money as he did. Slinging it around his shoulder, the Marauder ran, charging through the smoke while holding his breath. It took a second for him to get through, and he exhaled once he was out, breathing in large gulps of fresh air. The Mandalorian kept running then, rifle held in one hand and bag in the other. He kept sprinting until the reached the ship, then slammed himself into a chair and threw the duffel bag down.

Drace unbuckled his helmet and cast it aside, breathing in the colder air. "Good to go."

Rayne was in the pilots chair the same second @Drace Solus hit his, the engines primed and ready, she punched the accelerator and the ship lurched off the ground.

In just a few moments they'd break atmosphere and be on their way, Rayne would eventually glance around the cockpit, she was gonna miss this old beast, as basic as it was, it had been her home away from home for a long time.

Out in orbit, they determined they hadn't then followed, and Rayne pushed the ship into hyperspace, it had been quick, not terribly easy, and there were more casualties than she had planned on, but it wasn't their fault it was a run of the mill robbery, and they forced it to he multiple murder... Their fault.. Rayne thought as they got out of there.
