A little more than a typical day

Egli closed the door to her shop and flipped the open sign to "closed". After a hard day's work, she was ready to go to the supermarket to get some supplies then flop onto her bed and go to sleep.

She walked over to her little ship that she used to fly around in the city only when she was in dire need of speed. As she ran her hand accross the smooth,pink metal frame, she jerked back with a quick breath. yeesh, Egli. Just ride your bike. she thought to herself. She hopped onto her bike, and with a sigh, rode off towards the downtown market.

As soon as she got to the place that she needed to get to, Peg's Shop, she started to feel quite eerie. But Egli just shrugged it off and moved on to going inside the shop.

She quietly moved to the back where she needed to pick up her food. She carefully picked up a couple cartons of food for the next couple of days and inpected them to make sure they were OK. And just as he picked up the last one and was about to go, she spotted something behind the shelf. She put the carton down in her cart and reluctantly walked over to the shelf.

She scremed at the sight of a pair of eyes staring back at her.

Alex was in the supermarket he came here just to look around seeing a few cartons of food he moved them around and such to see what else was there then noticing a pair of eyes staring at His dark brown ones he jumped back and almost pulled his lightsaber out but stopped and fell down surprised. He chuckles then gets up seeing whoever was on the other side was suprized to "Hey sorry over there I didn't mean to scare you I was just looking through here man you mad me jump anyway you ok" he said as he walk around the aisle to where he saw a women he stopped for a second man what a duffus he must have sounded then so he just held out a hand "Again sorry........mine names Alex what's yours he" said cheerful.

Paris turned her shopping trolley down the next aisles. She figured if she was going to have to stay on this planet for the next few weeks, she would have to pick up some supplies. Just as she turned left into the food section, Paris heard a shriek. She sped up her walking pace to investigate. She saw @Reven Vargas but also a horrified girl, @Lexi-Oi. Paris was not wearing her usual intimidating armour, but always carried her blaster on hand, gripping the blaster, she continued to walk down the aisle until she was beside the girl. She placed a hand on the girls shoulder, attempting to seem caring towards her.

"Are you alright? What happened?"

Alex saw another women next to the one he had just bumped into she was holding a blaster he was calm but aware "yea everything fine we just kinda made each other jump a little but what's with the blaster now come on it's a market hahaha" Alex chuckles

 

[Paris Utorna]

Paris looks at the man (@Reven Vargas) and replies with,

"You can never be too careful in a market, smugglers and slavers are everywhere. Just a precaution, it's nothing personal"

 

[Lexi-Oi]

Egli saw the two people coming towards her and immediatley her shy insticts kicked. She curled up in a little ball in an attempt to hide from them. The attempt failed though and the girl helpped Egli up by the arms. Egli shyly looks away from both the girl and the boy.
"I'm fine. Really. Just...yeah. I'm totally fine." Egli whispered, still looking down.

Finally, when she was about leave this incident behind and go check out, she decided to really look at these people's faces. You know, just so that she would knoww who they were. But when she looked at the girl's face, her heart almost stopped. She looked exactly like her older....sister. Her breath quick, she glanced at the boy, her heart almost stopping. Brother.

"Ada? Jack?" She whispered.

They looked at eachother and shook their heads. Egli's heart plummeted into her gut. But she knew it not to be true. Because she had never watched her siblings' deaths, she still had the glimmer of hope that they would be alive. just leave it alone Egli. They're never coming back, cold thinking came to her mind.

A small tear ran down her face, but she wiped it off. "Well, I'll take you bck to my house," Egli said with a sigh.

Paris glanced back at Egli, (@Lexi-Oi) and looking confusingly as she mentioned Ada. Who was this Ada? Paris thought to herself? Her thoughts were muddled, but eventually she walked over to the girl and attempted to comfort her again. She could clearly see the girl was younger than her, but not by much. She saw the tear rolling down her face and asked;

"What' wrong, wanna talk about it?"

Paris said this with a gleeful smile, hoping for a hopeful response from Egli.

Poking his head in the shop after hearing a crash and some commotion, Drifter raised an eyebrow at the trio.

"Problems?" He asked politely. Not much for conversation, he didn't say much more than that, but his hand went to a lightsaber strapped to his waist. From the way he stood, he wasn't afraid to use it, either.

He had arrived on this planet doing his normal routine, following after the image of Anubis. Everytime he gets close enough to touch her, she vanishes. But so far, her leadings haven't gotten him killed yet, so that is a major plus.

Egli looked back up longingly at Paris. if only shee knew... she thought to herself. She sighed, and said to them "Look guys, I'm sorry to cause you so much trouble, I might as well give you a drink of something at my place. It's pretty small, but it will hold us. Do you have transportation there?"

Paris and Alex said yes and that they could drive there if Egli would ride her bike. She gave them directions and they were on their way. She checked out and carried the bags to her bike. After everything was strapped on, she saddled the bike andd rode home.

For never having a friend since 12, Egli felt she was doing pretty well on making friends.

Paris deep inside felt sorry for the girl, she believed her to be innocent. Or so she thought. But that was her paranoia getting in the way. Paris openly accepts the invitation to Elgi's (@Lexi-Oi) house and arrives in a silk, white robe which covers her from head to toe. There was no need for armour, all she was doing was have a few drinks.

Paris arrives at Elgi's house having walked, it was only a short while away, and she needed the exercise to get in shape. Although Paris was attempting to be friendly, she did however keep her blaster in its holster just in case anything bad happened in the house.

As soon as Paris arrived, she knocked on the door to the apartment, it was small, well smaller than Paris' accommodations. We've all got to start somewhere, she thinks into herself. Paris awaits on Elgi to open the door.

Alex said yes to the invitation so he followed her back to her place "a really shy one isn't she hehe she's cool" he thought he looked at the other women waiting at the door with him "sorry I didn't introduce myself I'm Alex by the way"

Egli opened up the door for both of the people outside. baby steps egli. Maybe say hi. They'll probably like that. I just hope Bernard doesn't intrude,Egli thought. "Hey guys. Come right on in," She said shyly to her visitors. She walked them into the shop because she decided that to show new people her room right off the bat wouldn't be wise. She poured them all a couple of drinks and then they sat down.

"So I guess I owe you a proper introduction. I'm Egli Yogonda. This is the shop I work at but I live upstairs. My parents died when I was 12" she started to choke on her words" I thought you were my older brother and sister at first because you look exactly like them. I never knew if they actually died from the car crash that killed the rest of my family. In the hospital, they only told me that my whole family died. I saw the ret of them, just not Ada and Jack. At their funeral, I wasn't able to look in the coffins so I really don't know weather or not they actually died or not" she was in full out tears by now "When I saw you guys, I thought that...maybe...you were Ada and Jack." Egli completely broke down.

Paris and Alex came over to try and comfort her, but it just ended up making Egli cry even more.

"EGLI!! COME BACK HERE NOW!" Benard, the store owner cried from a room in the back. "I WANT TO KNOW THE DAILY EARNINGS!!!"

Egli wiped off her tear and slowly walked back to the little room where Bernard was sitting at his table, drinking a bottle of wine and wearing his tuxedo. "90 credits. Today wasn't a very good day but I promise it will get better..." Egli stumbled to get out. When her report was followed by silence, she was very grateful.

But the silence didn't last long.

"You darn girl! When I took you out of that foster care center, I was doing you a huge favor! And this is how you repay me?? '90 credits'. Seriously, you need to learn yourself a lesson, girl." Benard screamed at Egli.

He reached down to grab a woman's dress shoe from under his desk. As fast as lightning, he threw it at her face. Bullseye. She could feel the blood coming into her eyes, almost blinding her vision. "There. That oughta do it. Now get out of here before you drip onto my carpet. It's brand new." Benard chuckled at her and waved her off.

She stumbled out of the room and looked at Alex. Then her eyes fell over to Paris. Oh, crap. I'm going to have to explain this to them. Should I?Egli debated with herself.

All she could decide on saying was,
"I feel a little light headed."

And then passed out.

Alex walked through the door and sat down while Egli poured drinks "it's very nice in here" she told them her story about her parents and family she then started to cry having know the same feeling of losing his family as well but before he could comfort her he heard a man in the back yell she went back to talk to him he sounded mad. Alex didn't like this one bit then she came back to the front and said she felt light headed then passed out. Alex jumped up and went to her side and checked over to see the problem. She was bleeding a bit on her face. Alex tended to the small wound and saw if he couldn't wake her "Egli.......come on get up" and he knew he was getting to the bottom of this when she awoke

"Come on Egli! It's time to go!" Dad yelled at me,"Don't want to be late for the birthday party after the trip to the store!"

I scrambled to the ship after getting my shoes on. "Coming Dad!" I yelled to him. My little brother and sister and my older brother and sister were already in the car. "Sorry guys. These new shoes are a real pain to get on in a hurry" I apologized to my siblings and parents.

"It's ok E, we were just talking about stuff in here. You didn't miss much" my older sister, the oldest of us all, Ada, said to me as she gave me a little hug. I was most attached to my older sister out of all of my siblings.

"Ok guys let's get going" my dad said as he fired up the ship.

Halfway in the trip, my little brother, Sam asked my dad for a box of juice. He leaned baack and gave him the juice. My little sister, Julie, was chatting her head off to me, but I wasn't listening. I was thinking about the birthday party that we were about to go to for Julie's friend.

Then. Out of nowhere, a sudden SMASH hit the ship. It crumpled like tin foil under the immense blow of the bigger craft. Sam and Julie screamed and we were all tossed around like dice. My world blacked out

Egli woke up with a loud shriek. She was in her bed; Alex and Paris must have moved her up there. Her breaths were short, and she looked over to the other side of her room to see Alex and Paris. They were sitting on the old stools that she used for everything.

Alex, who looked determind to find out something (she couldn't tell exactly what) asked her,"Egli, what the heck happened?"

"I-I-I had a...flashback I guess. My parent's death was replayed in my mind..." She shivered at the thought.

While Alex talked to Paris about something, she couldn't quite make out the words, she just stared. At them. He couldn't stop thinking about how much they looked like Ada and Jack. It was almost creepy the resemblence.

As she thought about her supposedly dead brother and sister, hot tears came to her eyes.

Alex had moved Egli up to her room it was well kept and smelled nice not much else to it and when she woke up she explained about the dream but Alex wanted to know somthing else "I fixed up your cut on your face Egli now could you tell me where you got it?" Alex waited for an answer.

(OOC: Hi guys. I know I'm not a mod but Egli is still pending to join the Jedi. I've reported this so hopefully a mod will come soon to sort things out. Hate to be a part-pooper but yeah... :/ )

Egli turned to alex and took a big breath. "Well, I'd rather not talk about it. Bernard wouldn't be happy." She cursed under her breath because saying something about Bernard might lead Alex to know what happened.

After a little bit of questioning, Alex stopped asking her question and told her she could go to bed if she wanted, and that he might come back tomorrow to see her. So, she waited for Alex to leave, and then practically fell onto her pillow, falling into another set of nightmares.

Alex knew somthing was up when he left he would see about this Bernard guy tomorrow he had no plans so he would be back
