The temple is a nice, well decorated place. It is a home to the proud order of the Jedi - guardians and peacekeepers of the galaxy. They selflessly fight for the Light Side of the Force in hope of extinguishing all threats of the galaxy particularly the rising empire of the Sith. However, around the corridors of the temple a young man can be seen speedily walking through the corridors.

Ryan Bramber is hurrying down the corridors, accidentally bumping into people on his way. He'd get the occasional "Watch it!" but apart from that he just got annoyed faces from his peers. He had received some news this morning that he was to get a new master. Ryan can't tell whether to be sad or excited. After all he is finally to get to complete his training and become an official Jedi Knight. However, he is finally letting go his memories of his old master Tol Cambus who was killed by a gang about a year ago.

After finishing the long walk throughout the enormous temple, Ryan came face to face with a door. Behind it he would meet his new master. 'Who could it possibly be?' Ryan wonders to himself.
Hesitantly, Ryan sighs and slowly holds onto the door knob. He then turns it very slowly and throughout that time he is wondering to himself whether this is a good or bad idea. After unlocking the door, he stand there for a good moment or two and sighs for one last time. He then pushes open the door and comes face to face with his new master.
It is Falcon Redwing - who he fought a Sith with. However, just because they fought along side each other doesn't mean they are particularly friends. If anything they had both come to dislike each other. After all it was Ryan's fault a perfectly peaceful conversation turned into a battle.
"Um... hello there."

"Do you know why you are here?" Falcon's voice rang out across the room, coming from all directions, yet his mouth did not open or move in any way. He stared coldly at Ryan, his Violet eyes piercing and intimidating. His saber hung at his side, ready to be used at any given moment. His semi-long brown hair moved with an invisible wind, his expression still remaining the same, he said again. “Do you know why you are here?”

((Sorry for the short post, I am in the middle of a shitstorm of RL, posts will be crappy almost all summer long.))

Ryan stays silent and walks stiffly into the room a short distance. "Do you know why you are here?"
He ignores the first time but on the second time, hesitantly answers after letting out a brief sigh: "I was told that I'm getting a new master." Ryan then looks up at Falcon's face. "Are you my new master?"
He kind of hopes Falcon isn't for two reasons: 1) They didn't get along and 2) He really doesn't want to let go of memories of his former master Tol.

"Yes, I am your new master. However, I will only be your teacher for a short time, your former master, Tol, obviously failed to teach you to control yourself," Falcon started talking normally, his expression still as stern and intimidating as ever. "I requested to be your master for that reason, to teach you self-control." Falcon started pacing, he was trying very hard to keep a strait face.

Ryan softly clenches his fists when he said "Your former master, Tol, obviously failed to teach you to control yourself" but then unclenches them, realising it's best not to do anything.
Ryan nods. "Understood..." He then with some reluctance adds, "Master."
His mind is full of questions but he only comes to ask one: "But may I ask? When you say for a short time, what do you mean and how short is it to be? And what exactly do you mean by teaching me "self-control?""

"That battle with the Sith? You did not know when to let him go, you egged him on to attack us, a combat situation where Jade was hurt because of your recklessness. That encounter should have been peaceful and no one should have gotten hurt, all because you decided to be the 'hero!'" Falcon exploded, his annoyance with Ryan's action overwhelmed him, contradicting his own point. Composing himself, Falcon continued, "Just so you know, while you are my apprentice I do not want to hear anything about reckless behavior from you, and trust me, I can hear quite a lot more than you think. All I ask is that you THINK before you act. Now, shall we begin the lesson?"

"For your information I wasn't trying to be a hero", mumbles Ryan angrily. "I was..." Ryan then sighs and realises it's best not to do or say anything more about that situation.
Ryan doesn't really like his new master that much. He especially is annoyed because Falcon criticised Tol's training. To be fair, it is Ryan's fault for being uncontrollably reckless and not Tol's - even Ryan himself knows that.
"Just so you know, while you are my apprentice I do not want to hear anything about reckless behavior from you."

In response to that, Ryan mumbles, "Of course, master."
Ryan listens to everything his new master to has to say. However, he knows that he will probably, without meaning to, forget to think and continue with his typical reckless behaviour. "Before we begin the lesson", says Ryan, trying to sound calm and convincing to avoid getting further on the wrong side of his master, "I personally think we should get to know each other more." Ryan is trying to act a little bit more convincing and friendly. He does truthfully want to know his master. That is what he is used to after all he was more than an apprentice with Tol - he was a friend. He doesn't particularly plan on becoming friends with Falcon but acquaintances at the least would do. "For example... I don't even know your name!" Ryan then makes a gesture with his hand as though he wants an answer.

"My name is Falcon, I can see the Force, and I come from the world of Takodana. That is all the information you will get out of me for now. As for you, Ryan Bramber, what drives you, what is your motivation?" Falcon was trying to determine if Ryan could be more, more than a Jedi that was trained, a Jedi with the skills to avoid battle when necessary.

Ryan sighs. He knows that if he tells Falcon the truth of what drives him (that he wants to become the greatest Jedi ever) Falcon will certainly not be pleased. He decides not tell him that part.
"The fact darkness still exists in the galaxy", Ryan explains. "I want to play my part in getting rid of the darkness of the galaxy. That is why I was impatient when it came to fighting that Sith. It's also what Tol wanted. So I want to continue his work."

"Just so you know... I meant no disrespect to Tol, he and I were friends. As for your goal, there will always be darkness. When there is light, there is always a shadow, yes? So, eliminating all darkness in the galaxy is both impossible and pointless. But we can eliminate most of the darkness, enough to keep it at bay." Falcon was starting warm up to Ryan, not as a friend, but as an aquaintance.

Ryan nods. "Of course, master", he says. He knows that the darkness will always be around and agrees with what Falcon says. "So what are we going to do now?" asks a curious Ryan who slumps into a chair behind him. The chair is rather soft and comfortable. "Do a lesson? Train? Surely there's a few other things I'd need to know other than self-control."
Ryan is curious to know after all he doesn't want to only learn self-control. He still has quite a few Force abilities/knowledge to master.

How would you like to learn this?" Falcon said, he had altered his Voice with the Force to sound exactly like Ryan.

(OOC: Don't worry about it. I understand if IRL stuff gets in the way ;) )

Amazed at what his new master has just done, Ryan stares back at him, gobsmacked. "W-well yeah", he replies, getting out of the chair. Excited to get it started, he eagerly asks, "So when are we going to get started with it?"
This could be great for all sorts. 'Imagine imitating someone by using their very own voice!' Ryan can't wait to get started.

Now imitating Lord Bau Zo's voice, "First, you must know the person well, you cannot simply hear a person's voice once, and completely imitate it. You must become familiar with their speaking patterns, feel the way their vocal chords vibrate and move. Try feeling my vocal chords with the force, you will find that they are not moving at all, I am creating these sounds with the Force, and moving my mouth to match the words."

Ryan is rather confused. 'How can he know my speaking pattern already?' Ryan wonders to himself. 'We've barely even talked!'
Ryan does as he says and concentrates on the Force. He tries feeling vocal chords and, as Falcon said, Ryan feels nothing.
"Nah, I can't", replies Ryan.

You may be wondering why I can already mimick your voice. Well, that fight with the Sith, allowed me to scan your vocal chords, while you were talking to him." Using the force to alter his voice yet again, "I can do Jade's voice too."
