Coruscant,
Corusca System,
Core Worlds,

Coruscant is one of the Old Republic's main planets. With a population of an astonishing 1 trillion, all sorts of people live here - from criminal to regular citizens to Jedi and to senators. Many senators have their offices in Coruscant including the representative of Onderon: Falcon Darsten.

Falcon Darsten is sat in his office which is fairly large and looks nice. Framed pictures of his family, son and even wife are on his desk. He is awaiting the arrival of a young Jedi named Jake. Jake is willing to become Falcon's bodyguard and today will be the test for him to see how well he can escort Falcon across the streets with dodgy people crawling around - people who would most likely want Falcon dead. After all not everyone agreed with the Republic.

The ringing of the phone makes Falcon jump slightly. He leans forward and reaches for the phone. After picking it up, he brings it to his ear and relaxes back into his chair again. "Hello?" he says, sounding fairly casual.
"Good afternoon, Mr Darsten. A young Jedi with the name Jake would like to see you. He says he is to be your new bodyguard. Is that right?"
"Bring him to my office", replies Falcon within almost an instant after the lady at the secretary finishes speaking.
"Yes, Mr Darsten."
Falcon then leans forward to put down his phone and returns to his casual position in his chair, relaxing. He blows through his cheeks and hopes Jake will be fine for the job.

The entire planet was a city, it was pretty amazing though the loss of all the nature was rather depressing. Jake wondered how the planet even survived, how did it grow or import enough food.

Though those thought mattered little, Jake was here to get a job, he had left the order and there for left all that it could provide, such as food and a place to sleep. Now Jake was one his own, though he did have a few skills he could fall back on and those skills made him perfect as a body guard, even at 16 he had littlie trouble getting this interview.

Jake followed the women in to the office where he gave a polite bow. "Good day senator, I am Jake"

"Good day senator, I am Jake", says Falcon's new bodyguard after a polite nod after entering the room.
Before Falcon makes any contact with Jake, he nods dismissively at the secretary who then leaves the room. Her footsteps lose audibility decreased before her footsteps lost complete sound. It may come across as rude to Jake but once Falcon is sure no one is nearby, he stands up.
After standing up, Falcon extends his arm and holds it out in a manner that is obvious that he wants to shake hands with Jake. "Good day to you", says Falcon who forces a very little and brief smile. "As you may know, my name is Falcon Darsten - representative of Onderon in the Galactic Senate." Just before forgetting to add a little more warmth and explanation of his recent quietness to his introduction, Falcon adds, "I am very pleased to meet you. Please let me explain that due to my experiences as an Onderonion soldier I am not a great conversationalist and to some I may come out as rather "dull, miserable and depressed". I'd just like you to know I mean not to offend you."

Jake stood casually, looking around the room. While to many it may of been Spartan it was still better than many Jedi knights.

"Don't worry sir i am used to Jedi Knight's. They are with out a doubt worse than you."

Falcon chuckles slightly. "I've got many opinions on the Jedi but I really think we'd best not discuss them here", he says before ending his few moments of chuckles. "Anyway", Falcon explains, whilst getting up and preparing for the journey, "this is sort of a trial but yet the real thing itself. I need to make a journey across the streets of Coruscant. Just like any senator, I have supporters, fans, whatever you wanna call them... and people who want me dead." Without fully meaning to, Falcon makes the last line sound rather dark. But it is the truth. It doesn't fully bother him as it is apart of the job - some people will agree with you and some disagree with you. Some who disagree with you may push their hatred a bit extreme and actually want you dead.
"So I'm sorry if our introduction was very brief but we will be getting a taxi in a few minutes. So you may want to be ready as soon as possible."

Jake was not surprised that the senator had negative feeling about the order, he had a few to. Though he was surprised by the fact he was able to put those feelings aside to think of hiring one, well a ex Jedi. Though in truth one was all ways a Jedi. "A advantage with hiring me sir, I am all ways ready and I can tend with most issues with out the need to draw a weapon. All so useful, since death is not something you want to deal with" Even though Jake said all that he was still armoured, he had a light sabre hidden on him and a short vibro sword. He wondered if a blaster would be useful but he would need training with one.

(OOC: In this post we'll skip to the actual escorting part)
"A advantage with hiring me sir, I am all ways ready and I can tend with most issues with out the need to draw a weapon", says Falcon's new bodyguard.
Falcon smiles and, most likely to the ex-Jedi's surprise, he replies, "Jake, you need not worry about using a weapon. They have their advantages and disadvantages. I trust you on using any weapon of yours wisely. Anyway it's time for us to leave."

SEVERAL MINUTES LATER

Several minutes had passed since Falcon and Jake had exited the office. It had taken them a good five minutes to actually reach the bottom of the building. But now they were here at their taxi. The taxi was a nice, silver-coloured car they would use to travel through the streets of Coruscant until they reached the destination. Until then, Falcon was open to many risks or just general things happening from assassination attempts to members of the public waving at him.
Right on each side of the taxi were two speeders with some - what looks like - policemen. Falcon knew fully well that these policemen's priority was not to defend Falcon unless, of course, someone tried harming Falcon as defending him was Jake's job. They were here to stop people from getting too close.
"Don't worry", says Falcon, nudging Jake on the shoulder, "They're not here to protect me - unless, of course, something terrible happens. They're just here to stop people from coming too near to me. But if they failed their job that's where you'd come in."
One of the policemen (not on one of the speeders) ushers Falcon and Jake to their seats inside of the taxi.

The ride down was long. Jake really wonderd how the buildings here did not collapse under there own weight.

The silver air speeder had a luxury finsh in side. It was clear that it was for use by important people. A true VIP transport. The driver was dressed a corrsunt cop was dressed in formal dress uniform. His Blaser sat in a white holster on his hip. "I see so any one thst gets passed the cops we can assume is a threat?"

Without looking at Jake, Falcon nods in response to Jake's question. "Yes", replies Falcon simply. "That is why you are here", he begins explaining. "Because if there were completely no threats then you wouldn't be here."
Suddenly the taxi stops as police men hold their arm out and lean in towards the taxi, slowing down their speeders. Falcon sits up and tries to see what's happening. The taxi driver opens his window to speak to policeman. "What's going on?" enquires the tax driver.
The policeman opens his mouth to say something before a loud gunshot rings out and the policeman's entire body slams into the car door. Blood lands on the taxi driver who then dives into cover. Falcon ducks behind his seat and pulls Jake down too.
"Stay down", hisses Falcon, concerned for Jake's life as well as his. "They're clearly after me and if they miss me we don't want to risk you getting killed. Aren't you able to use the Force on him or something?" asks Falcon who doesn't have a clue about what can properly be achieved with the Force abilities.

The shot cam from a distance that was sure and the shoot was either not force sensitive or able to hide. Though given the amount of people in the area the that would not be hard. Still falcon was right he could use the force. As the drive accelerated backwards Jake pushed him self back up. The Taxi was way to confined for his lightsabre and was a target any way. "Driver park us in that alley. Sir I can use the force but how attacker is trained, the shot was from 1000m away if not more In this city I could not pick him out, we should find cover in a building and await back up"

The taxi driver, who seems absolutely terrified and shocks, nods and starts driving towards the alleyway. There he parks the car before another bullet is fired. It is clearly aimed for Falcon but fortunately misses him... only to hit the head of the taxi driver. The driver's head is knocked forward and hard into the front, splatting blood where it hits.
"We should find cover in a building and await back up", suggests Jake.
Falcon considers it. 1000 metres? That certainly is a long way away. Surely he or she must have great aim to actually manage to hit so close to Falcon. "Alright", replies Falcon who has came to his decision. "We'll have to hurry when getting out, though."

Jake opened the door grabbing the top of the door to guide him he jumped and flipped on to the roof of the Taxi his lightsabre jumping in to his hand, igniting instantly. "no don't run, stick to me." Jake waited for Falcon to exit before jumping next to him deflecting a shot as he landed. "Lets move sir"

Falcon is used to obeying orders - especially from people who know what they're doing. So without question, he complies with the orders and exits the building by hesitantly jumping onto the car roof. He flinches as he lands as another shot comes towards him. Fortunately his new bodyguard manages to deflect the shot with his lightsaber.
"Let's move, sir!"
Falcon nods and continues to follow Jake in what he is doing. For some odd reason, though, Falcon hasn't much fear at the moment. Maybe because he's known and seen the worst.

Jake does not run and stays close to the senator ready to defend against any farther shots. But nothing, the building was old and decrypt and though the door was locked a quick slice from his blade unlocked it permanently. "Sir I suspect our shooter is trained enough to realize a long range attack wont work, lets hope he values his live more than money or worse honour. You should call for back up sir."

Falcon listens to what Jake says. He gets a weird feeling in his belly that he rarely ever feels - fear and an uncomfortable feeling combined into one. The thought of the criminal realising it won't work and getting here himself seems rather scary.
"I'm not too sure on who I could call", replies Falcon. In all honesty he'd know exactly who to call - his son Mark - who wasn't too far from here. He is a trained soldier who works in the BA but whether Falcon would want to risk his son's life or not is a completely different decision. "I'm sure the police will be here soon, though", adds Falcon.

"while we can wait for the cops I think we should do it farther in side the building, all so he is a really good shot but you where not hit. I think they want you alive and yes I think he is working in a team. Something feels very wrong here."

"Something feels very wrong." These words hit Falcon hard like a brick. Working in a team makes him sound a bit more menacing.
"Surely I should be able to defend myself", says Falcon. "If he is working in a team then he is more of a threat."
Falcon opens his mouth to say something but is interrupted as the sound of gunfire breaks out. However, this gunfire is a lot closer to their position. Intrigued to see who is armed nearby, Falcon peaks round the corner to see some policemen in cover. Some are armed with SMGS, assault rifles and one is with a sniper. There is no doubt that he is the one actually trying to kill the assassin.
Now knowing that there are more people for the assassin to worry about, Falcon feels a lot more relieved and turns to Jake. Speaking up over the loud gunfire, Falcon says, "We should take our chances! Let's quickly try and get out of the assassin's sight whilst he is busy trying to kill those police officers!"

"would it not be better to attack him. He is distracted now and I know from what building he shot from. I doubt the cops will catch him but we could. I mean if we run away all that he will do is try again later or his employer will hire some one else. It is your choice though since you are the boss and all that.."
