A new chapter in a new life

[Jade the Protector]

Planet: Ilium
Time: Morning.

Open To: all Jedi and Jedi Affiliates

Erin opened her eyes to the sun streaming into the room she was in. A Jedi had told her the night before that it was 'her room' but she had a hard time believing that. Sitting up, she allowed herself to feel the sun's rays for a few moments before climbing out of bed. Putting on the clothing laid out, Erin made herself presentable, but didn't take long. Masters liked a quick slave, not a slow one.

She walked out and walked down the hallway, smelling the food from the cafeteria, but not daring to come in. If her Masters wanted, she would get the leftovers in the evening, but she had not been granted permission to eat. Going past the room, Erin stood on a balcony, waiting for someone to come and give her the list of chores for today.

As she stood there, She was starting to feel dizzy with hunger, a side effect of being punished in a manner. The only thing is: her old master never lifted the punishment, so, in her mind, she was still being punished. Erin gripped the railing for support, praying she wouldn't pass out or her masters wouldn't be angry.

At the sound of footsteps, the girl stood at attention the best she could, even though she felt like she was going to collapse right then and there.

 

[Kaylara Dornelles]

Kara yawned as she walked the halls of the temple on Ilum. Late-night researching in the chilly below ground archives had caused her to oversleep slightly, and her demeanor reflected that very fact. Leaving the dormitories wearing her colder weather robes, she made her way to the cafeteria which was located within the largest hall connected to the temple.


One only had to follow the smells that permeated throughout the cavernous building to locate the cafeteria. Kara walked along the balcony overlooking the main hall focusing mainly on her hunger rather than the small looking person already present. "Morning" the blonde Jedi smiled quietly as she approached her.

 

[Jade the Protector]

Erin bowed. "Morning, My Lady." She kept herself low and submissive.

She swayed, barely standing, stomach gnawing itself in hunger.

 

[Kaylara Dornelles]

"Just Kara is fine" the Jedi laughed, though somewhat seriously. "I don't think I've seen you around here too often. Kaylara Dornelles." She continued, introducing herself.

 

[Jade the Protector]

"Erin Trask, at your service, Miss Kara." The girl replied.
She felt herself fall to her knees, being unable to find the energy to stand any more. Her body ached for nutrients, it wouldn't last long and she wouldn't heal without it.
"My apologies, My Lady." Erin instinctively ducked, ready for the punishing blow from her "master."

 

[Kaylara Dornelles]

"Pleasure" Kara nodded slightly, finding the girls behavior to be a little odd. The Jedi looked her over quickly, finding her to be rather small and frail. She stepped back slightly, as Erin fell on the ground, not entirely sure how to proceed.

Finding her apology even stranger, Kara held her hand out to help Erin up. "You look like you could use some breakfast" she commented.

 

[Jade the Protector]

"Am..I .....permitted?" Erin trembled, ducking away from the girl's hand in a bowing motion.

 

[Kaylara Dornelles]

"Yes, of course." Kara nodded, in the back of her mind wondering slightly what she might be getting herself into. Her hand was still extended, "let me help you up" she added, feeling somewhat awkward.

 

[Jade the Protector]

Erin took her hand and stood up, shakily. "Thank you, Miss Kara."

 

[Kaylara Dornelles]

"Again, Just Kara is fine." The Jedi reiterated, smiling. "Miss Kara makes me sound old" she laughed softly. "You coming?" Kara added, gesturing to the cafeteria.

 

[Jade the Protector]

Erin slowly came into the large room. The smells of fresh food making her dizzy. When she stepped in, she found the noise, a bit unsettling. Staying behind Kara, she stepped into the room.

 

[Kaylara Dornelles]

Kara walked in and proceeded to get a tray of assorted fruits, breads and a cup of tea. Sitting down at an open table she waited for Erin to join her.

Erin sat down across from her, unsure what to do next.

 

[Kaylara Dornelles]

Kara looked at Erin expectantly as she sat down across from her. "You can help yourself to whatever food you'd like" she commented, gesturing around the cafeteria with a fork in hand.

 

[Jade the Protector]

Erin looked around nervously. "Don't I need to wait till evening, Miss?" She asked in confusion.

 

[Kaylara Dornelles]

Kara paused before responding, "....No. You can help yourself whenever you'd like." She took a sip of the warm liquid in her cup while looking around to see if anyone else seemed to recognize or knew of Erin. There was obviously a story behind her, and Kara could feel very strongly, the emotions that the girl across from her was projecting. She intended to ask her a few questions, but first commented. "Go get something to eat. You look famished"

 

[Jade the Protector]

Erin got some soup and bread, holding the tray close to her as she walked backed to the table. As she ate, she kept the food close to her in a guarded manner.

 

[Kaylara Dornelles]

Kara noticed Erin's eating habits and proceeded to wait a few moments before directing a few questions about her. She took a few bites of fruit befor asking, "I don't think I've seen you around here recently. Are you new?"

 

[Jade the Protector]

Erin froze for moment, was this a trick?
"Yes, Miss." she said after a few moments before eating again.

 

[Kaylara Dornelles]

"Please, call me Kara" the Jedi quickly added, feeling slightly uncomfortable. "How'd you come to be here?" Kara followed up.
