She didn't complain any further as he took away her sight and obediently started to follow. She couldn't help but to laugh as he simply picked her up for the stairs and reached for his hand as she was back on the ground.
She was convinced they'd use the speeder or a different kind of transport, so it was easier to keep her excitement at bay for now, but once she was sitting inside the speeder, she shifted a little from one side to the other.
"See? Mean. Told you so. What a vile idea with the helmet...but once again I'm amazed by your unbound generosity" she sarcastically remarked, blindly reaching for his thigh and holding onto it as he started driving.
The conversation was pleasant, even if it was a little weird to be without the chance to meet his gaze, but it was alright for now. "But you mentioned food earlier...hmmm maybe you know other fancy places around". In the end, she circled back to the issue, smirking as she did so, but they reached their mysterious target just a little later.
"Okay..." she replied as he asked her to wait again, biting her lip as she still felt the urge to just reach out and check their surroundings like she always did as she simply liked to be on her guard, but she still actively held herself back until he led her out.
Now the excitment was washing over her again, manifesting in a warm, excited smile as he finally removed the blindfold. She had to blink a few times for her eyes to adjust to the brighter light again, but once she did saw everything he had prepared, she immediately wrapped her arms around his neck.
"Oooooh, Jon" she whispered against his ear before pulling back and kissing his cheek. "This is so sweet!". Her heart was just full, the view was incredible, the food he had prepared had looked absolutely amazing and his idea was the best.
She had never truly forgotten about the promise they had given each other, but it had wandered into the back areas of her mind and it wasn't just sweet of him to remember, but also an idea that simply made her happy. "Thank you!" she let her lips melt against his, forgetting herself in the moment for a while until she met his gaze again.
"Let's do our competition first, then we can get to the more comfortable part afterwards...", she suggested, beaming up at him before her gaze flicked towards the sling-shot. "Or do you think your demise will be too hard to stomach for the meal afterwards?" she teasingly added, giving him a challenging smirk.
