Back on the dusty planet of Sernpidal, once again. This time, she was in a much more deserted area of the planet. There was no villages around, no village for miles and miles and miles and miles.

This was the perfect spot to start building a secret base for the rebels. Not only were there no signs of life nearby, but the area was mountainous and hard to trek to. She'd make sure that various parts of the base built here were built underground, as well.

Why? Because if there was orbital bombardment or an attack, they could bunker underground or even escape through underground tunnels. She'd also make sure that shields around the buildings were installed to help against bombardments and attacks in general.

The day was slightly hotter than last time she visited. Emilia, at least, had her Snow Fox armor on. Its whiteness helped absorb and protect her from the sun. Plus there was shade from lots of equipment, some ships and building going on in the area.

She was not alone, of course. There were men and women, who considered themselves rebels, hailing from within and outside Sith space. They were all helping with the construction of the buildings and defense. Tiberius was around here somewhere too. He'd become somewhat of a partner in crime of hers, even now that he understood what she'd been building up to all this time.

The small sephi walked out from behind the shade of a partly erected building, moving past a few men who gave her a nod.

Sernpidal. Tiberius had returned to this hot desert planet once again. Not on official jedi business like he had been last time. Now he was he helping to establish a rebel base. It was on this planet that he first met Emilia. When he first met her on that fateful day he had no idea he would get tangled up in a rebellion, but he wouldn’t change it even if he could.

Shortly after their victory on Dantooine Emilia had revealed her plans for the rebellion, and the new moniker that she would be going by. It was hard to say though exactly how much of her plans Emilia had actually revealed to Tiberius. The knight knew that the sephi liked to play her cards close to the vest and he was fine with that. He knew she would tell him the pertinent information. The two had become close, but it was hard to tell if they were partners, or if he was the sidekick. Either way, he was happy to be working with her.

As usual, it was hot out today. Tiberius was wearing his own light armor concealed beneath something a little lighter to combat the heat of the day. He had noticed Emilia wearing white a lot that thought he might try it out himself. It was a change from his normal brown robes that he normally wore.

Currently, he was driving a speeder truck that was carrying some of the durasteel that would be used in the construction of the hidden base. Sure, they could have had it flown in, but that might bring unwanted attention to their operation. Instead, Tiberius and some of the other rebels would drive to the nearest town, which was a few hours away, and pick up the shipments of materials and drive them out to their isolated location.

Tiberius pulled up to the construction site. Several rebels came over to help unload the truck. Tiberius hopped out of the truck himself and spotted Emilia stepping out of the shadow of a partially erect structure. He flashed her a smile, but it was unlikely that she saw it beneath the helmet that covered his face. He made his way over to her and began walking beside her. “How are things going here?”

Emilia's head turned slightly when she sensed Tiberius near. She had become somewhat sensitive to his presence in the Force, simply because of how close they'd gotten and how much time they'd spent together. And she smiled, softly, when she saw him. A reaction she would've seen as odd in the past, now something somewhat normal to her. It wasn't like anyone could see her expression anyway.

"Everything is going well," Emilia answered, turning her gaze back towards the rebels working hard on the base. "Well, we did have one accident where someone fell. He's being taken care of by a talented nurse so he'll be fine."

A deeper, annoyed voice rang to the left of Emilia and Tiberius suddenly, "Kark dammit!" a man shouted while a loud clink of a tool echoed against an old shield generator.

Emilia stopped and raised an eyebrow. The man, clearly a mechanic since he was covered in grease and oil, and, well, had a tool in his hand, hissed when he looked back at her, "Boss, why couldn't they have gotten us newer shields?" He flipped his arms up in the air. "These little bastards are going to take me awhile to upgrade and repair, and if I didn't know better I'd think they're purposefully being stubborn!"

The small sephi was many things, but a mechanic she was not. "I can have someone help you," Emilia answered, "No! No! I can do it boss! These bastards wont beat me!" the quirky mechanic said, turning and getting back to work. He was clearly invested in his trade, and it wasn't the first time Emilia had seen a mechanic anthropomorphize the item or vehicle they worked on. She didn't understand it, but she had faith that the rebel would get the job done since he seemed so invested.

She let her gaze linger on the mechanic for a second before moving on. If there was anyone else having trouble or needing help, she wanted them to know she was around and that she could supply support. Right after she started walking, her eyes briefly turned back to her partner. "How have you been, by the way? It's been some time since we've really been able to talk," she asked. Since she arrived here, she hadn't gotten much time to regard Tiberius. He'd been busy, and so had she.

“Good.” Tiberius responded to Emilia’s initial answer, but his face twisted into a grimace when she told him about the falling accident. Tiberius turned he head slightly as the two walked to see the work that was being done on the base. The work site wasn’t exactly safety approved. Everyone just kind of used their common sense when it came to what they should and shouldn’t do so far as safety.

Besides, they were trying to keep a low profile so there weren’t any safety inspectors from the governing bodies coming out to make sure they were compliant with safety standards. Regardless, accidents were few and far between here. Tiberius had only known of maybe one or two others that had occurred. “Maybe we should look into taking more safety precautions.” The knight suggested. He knew that the accident had not been Emilia’s fault and he had hoped it didn’t come across that way to her, he was just sharing his thoughts.

Just then there was an exclamation and the sound of tools clattering against machinery. Tiberius and Emilia stopped and looked. There was a short exchange between Emilia and the mechanic. Evidently the shield generators were giving the man some trouble. Their equipment wasn’t top of the line, brand-spanking new, but it worked, or at least that’s what Tiberius had been told, and the fledgling movement had to make do with what they could get their hands on, which was quite a bit evidently.

The two began to walk again and Tiberius felt the sephi’s eyes on him. He turned and connected their gaze, although it was hard to tell with his reflective helmet on. It had been a while since the two had seen each other face to face. Since arriving on this planet, whenever Tiberius saw Emilia now she was normally clad in her snow fox armor in order to hide her identity from the rebels. Tiberius, likewise, had taken to hiding his face beneath helmets or masks. The jedi had been getting some bad press lately and he was unsure how his involvement with the rebellion would reflect on the order. Thus, his reasoning for wanting to hide his own identity.

“I’m doing good.” He responded to Emilia’s question. “Been keeping busy with these supply run. One of the trucks broke down the other day and we had to wait hours for one of the mechanics to come get us up and running again.” There was a moment’s pause before Tiberius spoke again. “Oh, I talked to Mance the other day while I was in town. He said they hit an imperial cargo ship with filled with blasters and blastvests, and he said he’d send some our way in a few days.”

Tiberius was right. They probably did need to take more safety precautions. It wasn't something Emilia thought of until now. She was going at this one step at a time, and she did feel somewhat responsible for the accidents now. "I'll talk to Terra, see if she can arrange for more precautions," Emilia said with a nod.

She... well, was glad that Tiberius was doing good, though frowned slightly about the truck. "I'll see if we can get better parts to upgrade our trucks as well," the small sephi answered.

His news after was better. They could use more blasters. A storage of them here at the base would be good, as well. Not every rebel was a fighter, so having weapons, at very least, somewhere to grab would provide them an option even if they weren't comfortable carrying one around at all times.

After walking through a large chunk of the construction zone, Emilia switched directions and went to her tent. A soft ruffle filled the space between her and Tiberius from the tents entrance being pushed aside.

Square in the middle of the tent sat a war table, with a map of the galaxy sprawled across it. On top of the map, small figures of ships and people on key locations, with some scribbles from a pen underneath them. It was probably the first time Tiberius saw the table, or saw part of Emilia's process of planning. She did not often allow anyone to see it.

There was a desk, as well, covered in datapads filled with information. Other various maps and pictures covered the tent walls. Then there was a small bed put together very neatly.

Being able to be in her tent felt like a luxury at this point. No one but Tiberius could see her now so she didn't have to hide, and the rebels knew they were not to enter her tent without permission.

Emilia reached up and pulled her mask off and her hood back, breathing in the unfiltered air with a soft sigh. It felt nice to let her platinum hair free. Her cheeks were a bit flushed from the heat, of course, and her mouth was a bit dry as well. With a few steps on the hard ground, she went to her desk, pouring water into two cups. The small sephi grabbed both cups, turned around and offered one to Tiberius.

She smiled, soft again, at him for a moment. Not phased by the small amount of space between them, or that she could feel his body heat. "You should have something to drink," she said. Emilia took a small sip of her water, feeling the cold help bring down her temperature. "If you need some rest you can also use my bed," she offered with a slight tip of her head, eyeing him to try to gauge the man's health. "Its small and a bit hard but it's enough."

Tiberius shook his head. “Don’t worry about it.” He replied to Emilia regarding the trucks. “We can make do with what we got.” He knew that Emilia already had a lot on her plate and worrying about trucks that didn’t always work wasn’t exactly top priority, at least that’s what Tiberius thought. There were a lot of people looking to Snow Fox for leadership, and Tiberius felt like she should focus on the bigger things. He and the other rebels could handle the smaller stuff.

Tiberius was almost on autopilot as the two walked across the construction site and he didn’t even notice that Emilia had changed course away from the construction. He followed by her side nonetheless.

A tent came into view that alerted Tiberius to where they were. They were no longer on the construction site. This tent was a little separated from the rest of the tents that made up the small tent city that the rebels occupied here on Sernpidal. The tent was probably separate from the others to help prevent prying eyes and ears from catching sensitive information that might be disclosed here.

There was a softs ruffle of the tent door being pushed aside as the two jedi to enter the temporary structure. Tiberius had not yet visited Emilia’s domicile here on this sandy planet. Upon entering he looked around for a brief moment. He walked over and examined the map on the table. There were all sorts of tokens scatted across the map and there was scribbles of various notes that Emilia had made. It was rare that Tiberius saw the sephi’s… creative process. Was another layer of the onion that was Emilia being pulled back for Tiberius to see?

The knight also took note of the desk that was littered with datapads, pictures, and more maps. Tiberius turned around to look back at Emilia as he turned to see her she was removing her mask and hood. The jedi watched as the white hair cascaded down and rested on her shoulders. He purple eyes were bright in the filtered light of the tent. A smile tugged at Tiberius’ lip as he was reminded of the sephi’s beauty. “Feel better?” He asked now that Emilia’s face was free.

Watching Emilia reminded Tiberius was he was also wearing a head piece. As the sephi poured water at the desk, Tiberius place his hands on either side of his helmet and lifted it off his head. He placed it gently on the table, careful not to disturb what was already on it.

The sephi turned back around with two glasses of water and offered one to Tiberius. There was not much room between the two now. It almost reminded the knight of when they had first met. Emilia had stood rather close to him then as well. Of course, they were on better terms now than they were back then.

Tiberius barely had to reach out to accept the glass. He wrapped his fingers around the liquid filled vessel. He fingers brushed against Emilia’s as he did so. “Thanks.” He stated as the two both drank the water. The cool liquid was refreshing. Tiberius could feel the coolness travel through his body. He finished the drink and set the cup down. Emilia offered him her bed if he wanted to rest. He turned his head to look at the bed. It looked to be a little small and neatly made.

Tiberius turned his head back towards Emilia and noticed a strand of hair hanging down in front of the sephi’s left eye. The knight used his fingers and brushed it behind her pointed ear. “I think you might be the one who needs rest.” He stated peering down into the woman’s purple eyes. “You’ve been working pretty hard. You of all people deserve a rest.”

Emilia felt her cheeks warm when Tiberius brushed her stray lock of platinum hair aside. Her eyes drifted away from him, until they stopped on the dusty ground, settling there. She just wasn't... use to touch, not yet.

But, she knew deep down that she didn't dislike it. It was hard to stay so cold and distant from everyone all the time, especially from Tiberius, who'd followed her for so long and tolerated all of her coldness.

Something inside her gave her enough bravery to reach up and grab his hand with hers. Tangling her lithe, pale fingers between his much larger ones, she left them there for the moment. Briefly, she pressed her warm cheek against his hand and closed her eyes. Just for a few quiet moments, to be close to him and enjoy peace.

But, then she backed away from him, untangling her fingers from his and taking three steps. Turning and facing the table in the middle of the room, to try to steady her heart that was beating a little faster. Maybe she was nervous, because maybe she actually felt something for the man, after being trained all her life not to be attached.

With a few more steps, Emilia stopped in front of the war table, pushing one of the figures less than half an inch to the left, "It's... hard for me to relax," she admitted, not mentioning the closeness she shared with the man a moment earlier. "I stare at this map every day. I'll see a path I want to take... well, what I mean is, I'll decide on my next move."

Her pale fingers moved the same figure again, this time a little further left, over a different planet, "But then I wake up the next day and stare at this map again, and I'll see a different path that I can take... then I have to compare the two paths to see which are better, or if I should take both at the same time by coordinating men. Then the same thing happens the next day, and the next day. And it doesn't just happen with this, but with all aspects of my plans," she said, pausing to straighten up. Her cheeks were still warm and she still didn't look at Tiberius. "I just want to be sure I'm not needlessly risking lives, and that I'm making the best possible decisions that I can think of. I haven't rested well in.. well, since Coruscant."

It would have been hard not to notice how Emilia’s eye diverted away from Tiberius’ own eyes and down towards the floor of the tent. There seemed to be a slight change in the sephi’s demeanor. Tiberius could almost see the gears in her head turning as she contemplated unspoken thoughts.

The knight made to take his hand away, but it was caught by Emilia who intertwined her slender fingers with his own. Tiberius was a little caught off guard by this. His heart began to race as the sephi pressed Tiberius’ hand against the bare flesh of her cheek. Over the course of their time together the two jedi had become close, but touch was a rare occurrence between them and so this moment was unexpected for Tiberius. Looking down at the sephi pressed against his hand with her eyes close, Tiberius could almost feel the tension leaving the woman’s small body and flowing into his own.

It felt as though time was standing still, but at the same time the moment seemed to pass in an instant. The sephi relinquished her grip and pulled away. She turned away and faced the war table. Tiberius turned and stared at her back. The sephi’s fingers seemed to play with the pieces on the table and she began to speak about paths. Was she speaking metaphorically about her and Tiberius, or was she talking about the paths she would take in leading the rebels? Maybe Tiberius was reading too much into what Emilia was saying.

Tiberius took a step towards Emilia as she continued talking. He still had the feeling of her skin on the tips of his fingers. He wanted to reach out again and feel the closeness they had just experienced, but he thought better of it. Instead, he walked around to the opposite side of the table from Emilia. He watched her moving the pieces on the map again. He looked up as the sephi straightened herself up, but she still didn’t look at Tiberius.

It sounded like Tiberius’ suspicion that Emilia was the one in need of rest was correct judging by her closing statement. The knight came around the table until he was almost in front of Emilia, the corner of the table separated them. He gently placed his index finger under her chin and his thumb rested just below her lower lip. He made an effort to tilt the sephi’s head up to look at Tiberius. The knight lowered his own head so that the two could look each other straight in the eye. “You don’t have to make these decisions alone.” He stated staring to Emilia’s bright purples eyes. “You just have to let others in.”

It was clear that Emilia still had her lone wolf mentality, but if she was going to be the leader of a rebellion she would need to learn to trust others and take the advice of others. What Emilia needed was advisors that she could trust to help her make these tough decisions.

The small sephi felt Tiberius's touch, unexpectedly again. This time he tipped her head up, and gazed deeply into her eyes, allowing her to know that he was being serious. Emilia didn't pull away this time. Her purple eyes locked with his browns, and she could see hers reflected in them. Then he spoke, and after, Emilia felt something shift inside her.

Her normally stoic, hard gaze softened, more then usual. She felt some tenseness in her muscles release that she wasn't aware was even there, as if a weight on her shoulders had been lifted in some small way. Her lips parted for a moment, nothing coming out before she closed them again, because she needed a few heartbeats to really absorb his words.

She wasn't alone anymore, was she? It hadn't sunk in till now. Her whole life, even while travelling with her master, she really had felt alone. He'd been cold and distant towards her, to everyone. Yet she'd still clung to her master, simply emulating him. Not until now where she truly had support and didn't feel alone, was she starting to realize how difficult it'd been to shoulder everything by herself. All her feelings and doubts and hopes.

A soft sigh left her lips, and Emilia allowed herself to reach up again. She curled her lithe fingers around Tiberius' hand, tighter this time. "You're right," her voice said softly, finally, echoing it again so it felt real, "You're right. I don't have to do this all on my own anymore, do I?"

Not only was she not alone anymore, but she couldn't keep operating as if she was, because it had been so stressful for her body. There were so many people depending on her now. Not to welcome their guidance, thoughts, advice, was wrong. It could even be detrimental to the rebellion.

Without saying anything, Emilia reached out with her free hand, taking a handful of Tiberius' shirt, stepping forward and allowing herself to lean against him. Closing her eyes and pressing her head against his chest, if he allowed her. In a way, falling into him. "Thank you," she said, muffled softly against his chest, "For staying by my side. For putting up with me. You've helped me so much and... I don't think I've ever thanked you. I'm sorry."

The faces of the two jedi were close and Tiberius stared into Emilia’s eyes. Her eyes acted as small windows into which Tiberius could see. Peering into the purple tinted window panes Tiberius saw that there was a change occurring within the small sephi. Her gaze became softer and the muscles of her body relaxed. Emilia’s lips parted and Tiberius thought that for a moment she was going to speak but nothing came out. It was just silence between them for a moment.

Tiberius wondered what was going through his companion’s mind as their eyes remained locked. The sephi’s lips closed and Tiberius suddenly felt the slender fingers of Emilia wrapping around his own. Then came her voice. It was soft, and showed emotion. It was not the cold stoic tone that the knight had grown used to. "You're right. I don't have to do this all on my own anymore, do I?" She said. Tiberius shook his head slightly and whispered “Not anymore.”

Tiberius straightened up, still allowing Emilia to hold onto his hand. Suddenly, he felt a tug on his shirt and the sephi came forward and leaned against the knight, her head buried in his chest. Tiberius looked down at the white haired woman. He was caught off guard. He wasn’t expecting this and wasn’t quite sure how to react.

The two had never been this close before. Sure, they had had the occasional brush of the hand or the accidental kicking the others’ foot under the table, but nothing much more than that. The only way Emilia could be closer to Tiberius now was if she was somehow able to crawl inside his body. A gruesome picture if Tiberius were to think about it, but he didn’t. Instead, he tried to think of how to react. Still unsure, Tiberius did what felt natural to him. He wrapped his arms around Emilia. He wasn’t certain how this would be received, though

Catching him more off guard still was Emilia’s muffled "Thank you." It was unlike her to say these words. Her muffled voice continued to emanate from Tiberius chest as she finished her thought. “Well,” He began to respond. “I wouldn’t do it for just anyone, you know?”

Emilia felt Tiberius' arms wrap around her. Part of her mind told her to pull away. All of this, the closeness—even if she was the one who closed the gap—and now his arms around her, was a lot to her. But, another part of her mind wanted to stay.

She'd never experienced being held in someone's arms before, and it was warm and comfortable. And all her experience with Tiberius, and the Force, in a way, let her know that she was safe with him too. Lastly, no one could see them, so no one could see her in the moment of weakness.

Tiberius spoke again, mentioning that he wouldn't do it for just anyone. Emilia thought on his comment for a few seconds, not quite understanding why he'd do it for her. Especially considering how cold she was to him.

"Why me?" she asked. As she spoke she began to feel the days and days of stress and tiredness from the lack of sleep begin to finally catch up with her, but she continued anyway, "Our connection in the Force?"

After a few more seconds, Emilia let go of his shirt and pressed her palm against his chest to push herself away from him slightly. Her eyes opened as they did and she looked up at him. He'd be able to see the tiredness in her eyes now. She couldn't hide it anymore.

"I apologize. I shouldn't have..." Emilia said, taking a step back from him, realizing she'd probably shouldn't have gotten so close. There was also some... doubt in her, about letting her defense down so much. "You were right. I need to rest. The lack of sleep has made it harder to think clearly."

Tiberius embraced Emilia and a sense of warmth and calm came over his body. With his arms wrapped around the sephi’s small frame, Tiberius hoped that maybe this moment would last forever. Maybe they could run away and start a new life where no one knew who they were. No, that was silly thinking. There was work to be done here with the rebellion.

Tiberius had grown rather fond of the sephi during their time together, and he felt that the same must be true for Emilia as well. It was evident by the tone an mannerisms that she used around him, or at least that’s what he had concluded. The sephi had actually voiced little about the way she felt about Tiberius.

Still locked in an embrace, Tiberius heard the voice of the sephi respond to his statement. “I believe that it was the force that brought us together, but it’s everything that we’ve been through that has kept me by your side.” There was a moment’s pause and Emilia pushed against the Jedi’s chest. Their eyes met. “When you spend so much time with someone and fight side-by-side with them you start to form bonds that are hard to break.” Tiberius finished his thought and hoped that it had answered Emilia’s question.

Looking into the purple eyes of the sephi, Tiberius could see the tiredness reflected there. The sephi spoke again, apologizing this time as she took a step back. The embrace was broken. It felt like there was a chasm between the two now. Tiberius tried to speak “You don’t need to…,” but he was cut off. The sephi stated that she needed her rest. Tiberius took his cue. He nodded in acknowledgement of Emilia’s wishes with almost a look of defeat on his face. He grabbed his helmet off the table and tucked it under his arm.

This seemed to be the typical interaction between the two jedi. Moments of intimacy punctuated by physical and emotional withdrawal. Perhaps it was too much change too quickly. However, Tiberius always tried to be respectful of Emilia’s boundaries, and this time was no exception.

The knight turned and took a few steps towards the door of the tent. He turned his head to cast his gaze back over his shoulder at Emilia. “If you want to talk after you rest, I’ll be around.” He stated. It was true, he had no plans to go very far and he knew Emilia would know where to find him if she wanted to. With all the time that they had spent together the two had become well acquainted with the other’s force signature making it easy to find the other. Tiberius slipped on his helmet and slid passed the thin fabric door that had separated them from the outside world.

There was still a little bit of daylight left when he exited the tent, and Tiberius decided to use it helping the other rebels with the construction of the base. Various modules of the base were starting to be completed and they were ready to be placed under ground. Tiberius helped to supervise the placement of these modules. Large holes had been dug in the sandy terrain and a crane was used to place the modules in these holes.

After several hours twilight had descended on the planet and the workers were done for the day. *A few more days like this and we’ll be finshed.* Tiberius thought to himself. As everyone began to disperse to various after work activities, Tiberius found himself wandering back to his tent. He passed through the door where he removed his helmet and placed it on the small bedside table. He removed his clothes and changed into a pair of sweat pants. He spend some time in meditation before finding his way to his bed. As he lay on hi mattress staring up at the canvas roof, thoughts of Emilia wandered through his mind.

Emilia silently listened to Tiberius' answer to her question. He was correct, they had fought side-by-side many time now. She'd even picked up on certain movements he did. His little quarks, and shamefully, due to her training, she'd also picked up on certain things she'd likely try to exploit if they had been enemies. Maybe one day she'd tell him. Maybe he'd picked up on faults of her own and they could better one another. Either way, there was a bond there she couldn't ignore, crafted by their experiences together. At his answer, a tired smile grew on her pale face, and she nodded when he finished explaining.

But she saw that look on his face after, when her small frame pulled away from him. Was it defeat? Sadness? She hadn't expected to see it. For some reason, it was hard to look at his expression and her eyes drifted away for a handful of quickened heartbeats. Seeing that look brought her guilt, or was it her own sadness? Someone else's emotions and moods had never effected her like this before.

But what she did know, was once Tiberius left, was a part of her wished he'd stayed. Emilia breathed after that thought and decided to try to center herself.

Finally, she took off her snow fox armour and robes. Allowing the white cloth to slide over her breasts and small, pale frame onto the ground. She dressed in a long, comfortable white t shirt and some underwear, then folded her robes and carefully placed them and her armour on her desk.

She sat on the edge of her bed with her legs hanging off the side, and thought about everything. It was odd, she was starting to feel like there were two parts of her. The first part was Snow Fox, Emilia Vuth the Jedi Knight trained ruthlessly by a zealous master. A knight that knew and fully accepted that her life was sacrifice. She would do anything, and everything possible to aid the rebels in freeing the galaxy from the Empire's evil. That part of her needed to be laser focused, calm, cold even, and calculating with everything she did because making a mistake could cost innocent lives.

The other part of her, that she hadn't really realized was there, was simply a girl. A girl that was more than a weapon crafted by a zealot. A girl that had feelings that all woman had. A girl that had been unknowingly lonely. The two parts existing together didn't make much sense to her, yet she could not deny they both existed.

Emilia finally couldn't keep her eyes open anymore and laid back onto her bed, quickly drifting off into sleep.

-----------------------

Another morning, another day she'd spend mostly in her Snow Fox armour and a leader to one of the largest rebellions in recent history. Once she was dressed and her mask on, the small sephi left her tent. The bases progress was going well, that much was certain when her purple eyes leveled on the building a few yards away from all the tents.

While making her first round through the construction area, she caught several nods and greetings mixed with smiles. Emilia nodded back, though did not smile per usual. It wasn't like they'd be able to see her expression anyway. Half way through her walk, she noticed one of the younger rebels struggling to get some crates off a truck and onto a cart. Instead of leaving him to struggle, she wrapped the Force around the creates and carefully placed one by one onto the hover cart for him. The young man seemed to be in awe at the sight, looking back at Emilia after before giving a little bow. Emilia simply nodded to him and went on her way.

After her first morning round, she decided it was time to eat, and she knew exactly where she'd go to do so. After the first few days here, she'd managed to stumble across an area not too far from the base that was relatively hidden. It had a beautiful view. The area was mountainous, so the base was fairly high up.

Emilia allowed herself a few moments of thoughts, before giving in and pulling out her datapad. She texted Tiberius, << Have you had breakfast yet? I haven't, and there's a private spot I like to go when I eat. You might like the view there. >>

Morning had arrived. Tiberius woke to the morning light that filtered through his canvas dwelling. He laid in his bed staring up at the ceiling with his hands tucked behind his head. He heard the chatter of the other rebels as they also began to wake and start their day. Soon Tiberius could hear the noise of construction start in the distance.

The Jedi let out a sigh as he contemplated getting out of bed. Suddenly there was a buzzing that came from his bedside table. It was his datapad. He reached over with one hand and felt around blindly until his fingers found their target. Tiberius pulled the contraption towards himself and looked at it. It was a text from Emilia asking if he wanted to eat breakfast with her.

Tiberius sat up and swung his legs over the edge of his bed. He leaded over, resting his elbows on his knees as he type out his reply. <<I haven’t, but I would love to. I’ll meet up with you.>> He hit send and stood up. There was a small wardrobe in the tent where Tiberius clothes were hung. He walked over to it and pulled out an outfit that was very similar to the one he wore yesterday. After a quick change of clothes, Tiberius slipped on his helmet and exited the tent and stepped into the oppressive heat of the desert planet.

The knight held up a hand at first to block the sun as his eyes adjusted to the change in lighting. He gave his surroundings a quick scan to see what was going on this morning. Nothing of interest, as usual. He began to make his way through the tent city which gradually transitioned into a construction site. It was in this general vicinity that Tiberius sensed Emilia’s presence.

The jedi walked thought the construction site looking for his friend, but so far all he saw was the various rebels going about their business. *She’s got to be around here somewhere.* He thought to himself, and there she was. He had finally spotted her. Her back was turned to Tiberius. As the knight approached he thought for a moment that it might be funny to sneak up on her and scare her, but then memories came flooding to his mind of the last time he had tried that. *Better not* He thought to himself with a shake of his head. That could be embarrassing in front of all these people.

“Snow fox.”
He greeted her calmly, addressing her with her code name. He had stop short, out of arms reach just in case his greeting elicited Emilia’s fight or flight response, and as we all know, Emilia has no flight response.

Though she'd sensed him approaching, Emilia only turned around when she heard Tiberius' voice. Her face remained expressionless, nodding at him to greet him back.

"Lets get breakfast," she said, not asking before grabbing his hand and dragging him along with her. Dragging him along was her style whether he accepted her hand or pulled away, she was simply a woman who took charge. Although, she wasn't as bossy with Tiberius anymore. Still, her bossiness would never go fully away no matter how close they got.

The pair made it to a small building with many tables outside. It was where food was currently cooked and served for all the rebels working on the base. Later on there would be a real food court. For now, this was good enough. Once they got there Emilia released her grip on Tiberius (if he hadn't already pulled away) and walked up to the window at the side of the building. A man on the other side of it greeted her.

"My regular, to go," she said plainly.

"Already ready!" he announced, knowing her schedule by heart. He picked up a packaged meal and handed it to her, then eye'd Tiberius beside her. The cook had a somewhat suspicious look in his eyes, though smiled, "And for you?"

Once Tiberius got his order, the small sephi would start walking towards their destination. It was a tiny hidden oasis, one of few pocketed throughout the world. Behind it, a view that was rather breathtaking, at least in her opinion. As they walked Emilia spoke, "What are your plans for today?"

Tiberius was acknowledge by Emilia with a nod. Whatever expression she made at him went unnoticed as the mask of her snow fox armor obscured her face. However, Tiberius guessed that there probably wasn’t much of an expression to see given Emilia’s stoic character.

The distance between the two closed as Emilia approached Tiberius. It was time to get breakfast and Tiberius found himself being whisked away by the hand to the makeshift food court. There was a time When Tiberius might have pulled his hand away from the sephi, but he had grown used to it at this point, and if he was being honest with himself he didn’t mind it all that much.

The small hand of the sephi released its grip on the knight’s hand as she approached the ordering window. After Emilia placed her order, which was already waiting for her, Tiberius stepped up. “I’ll have what she’s having.” Tiberius said looking at the alien in front of him. The being behind the counter disappeared and then reappeared a short time later. “Here ya go.” He said extending his hands that held a box. Tiberius took the package and turned back to face Emilia and the two began on their way.

“I’m suppose go to town later today to pick up some parts for the shield generators.” Tiberius answered the sephi. “You’re welcome to come along if you don’t have anything else going on.” The town where the rebels had been getting their supplies delivered was a few hours away which would eat up a large part of one’s day if they chose to go.

After a short journey the Jedi made it to Emilia’s hideaway. Tiberius stood and took in the view. “You were right, it is a nice view.” He continued staring out at the vista. “How’d you stumble upon this place?” He ask.
