The shuttle settled on the landing pad and opened its hatch to reveal a new shipment of yardbirds, among them was a former Jedi named Clint Fox. Coruscant had not changed much except for the new temple that dominated the sky. The civilians walked freely, speeders were flying at lethal speeds, Clint and the new arrivals were escorted to the temple's entrance where they received a briefing of the rules. There would be no tolerance for failure and immaturity, the Sith had expected all conscripts and volunteers to be professionals, punishable by death. Men and women stood at attention while listening to the Imperial Captain and his Sith superior, any slackers were taken out of the ranks and put back on the shuttle to Kessel, Clint was not a slacker. The briefing only lasted an hour, the remaining conscripts were herded into the temple and shown their quarters. As they were escorted inside, the loud roar of the outdated shuttle exited the atmosphere back to Kessel. Essentially the rules boiled down to one simple statement, don't get caught, it was actually quite easy for Clint to understand.

The living quarters provided were elaborate, larger than they had been a decade ago, decorated in a way the would have put a Queen to shame. Inside laid a stack of uniforms, plain grey, and a Sith training lightsaber; this was his new inventory. Clint put on his uniform and attached the lightsaber to his belt and left the dormitory en route to the archives. It only took him four minutes, once inside the archive mainframe, to find the location of his defeat. Placing on knee on the ground, a humbling experience, he vowed to visit this spot each day as a reminder of his failure. Clint closed his eyes and remembered the battle of life and death as if it were yesterday and not ten years ago. Once finished, the twenty-nine year old Acolyte stood tall and proud as he made his way to the holocron vault.

"Since I'm here," the former Jedi said, "I might as well learn something."
