A Question on PvP Rules

When you are in a 2v2 PvP, is the 48 hour time requirement for each team from the first post of the opposing team, or the last one? I looked at the official rules, but all it said was:

All members are expected to post in battles quickly and efficiently. In a 1v1 or 2v2 fight, each team is expected to post within 48 hours.

It doesn't say within 48 hours of what.

To provide an example:
Player X posts on Monday at noon.
Player Y, his teammate, posts on Tuesday at 3:00 PM.
Would Player A, on the opposing team, have to post within 48 hours from Player X (Wednesday at noon) or within 48 hours from Player 6 (Thursday at 3:00 PM)?
