The sounds of the cool ocean waves washed up against the soft sands of the white beach, breaking and crashing and rolling up just short of the treeline. Ral Aran sat on the beach, a long stick in his hands with a line on the far end that ran off into the sapphire waters. He dug his feet into the sand, feeling the grains in between his toes as he fished and enjoyed the warm breeze and bright sun. The Mandalorian had decided to take a bit of a break, not much of one, just a short fishing trip to Kothlis, trying to sneak past the Bothans without being discovered. Pulling the line back in he set his crude makeshift fishing pole and digging its end into the sand he stood up deciding that it would be good to say hello to his recently arrived guest. Stretching his arms out, he walked slowly through the sand and up the beach a little more to where the young woman was standing having just landed her ship, past the squad of Mandalorians who requested to accompany him to enjoy the beach and sun as well and to hunt in the island jungles.

"Good to see you, Val? I trust your journey here wasn't too difficult?" He asked as he approached. When he was close enough he placed a hand on the woman's shoulder as a way of indicating his happiness to see her. They weren't close enough for a hug, but a simple gesture like placing a hand on the shoulder could indicate respect. "I'm glad you came. There's something I wanted to discuss with you. But first, would you like something? I have food and drink you can help yourself to. Now, how have you been since our last encounter? I never got a chance to thank you for your help with that Roon business. It proved to be most helpful to us. Now I'd like to put your skills and talents to further use for our clan. If you'reinterested of course. If you'd like we can go on a walk and I can tell you more about what I need."

Raising his hand up, Ral motioned for Val to join him on a walk along the beach. Setting out, Ral enjoyed the wind through his bare hair. As he didn't have any armor on, only some basic linens for him to relax in, Ral would be vulnerable to an attack, but beskar'gam wasn't conducive to relaxing and comfort. Looking at her, the man smiked lightly. "There's been several changes since we last met. I'm now leader of my own clan. Well co-leader more or less I suppose. And as it turns out we need help. I'd like you to be one of those people."

"My journey was alright," She said. "And no thanks, I just ate on my way here." She enjoyed the feel of sand between her toes, and the sun on her face. It reminded her of home. She didn't think she'd ever end up feeling nostalgic for Tatooine when she left, but now she did. It felt like home. Well, like home with the exception of instead of scorching winds from the desert, nice cool winds from by the jungle, and plenty of shade that wouldn't get her arrested for trespassing when she went into. "I've been pretty good, took a couple bounties, nothing special." She walked with him, listening intently. "So, you want me to do some more jobs for you, huh? I'm willing... As long as it pays well." She smiled.

Listening to Val speak, the Mandalorian male smiled and gave her an acknowledging nod of his head when she finished speaking to him, letting him know how things had been for her. It was good to hear things were alright for her as he hoped life wasn't too hard; he felt a little bad about leaving her at the end of their last job together, the job where he met her, but life and duty had forced him to other places. But now, he hoped, he could right that by bringing Val into his clan, slowly. "Of course it will pay well. Though, I should ask if there are certain things you won't do. As I change the focus of my clan and try and grow it I will be forced to do certain things... I need to know what I can count on you for. Be honest, it won't affect my offer, only the things I ask you to do."

"The truth is, I need as many hands as I can get, and you seemed more than capable Val. So, how do you feel about working for a Mandalorian clan indefinitely? We can pay you of course, though to be honest I hope you'll find some sort of fulfillment in working with us." Ral stopped a little ways down the beach, far enough down so the two would be out of earshot. Looking around he smiked at the young woman before dropping suddenly down into the sand. Digging his fingers and toes into the coarse sand. Turning his head back up to face the dark-haired woman, Ral motioned for her to join him. "Do you have any hopes or dreams, Val? I do. I have a lot."
