Tatooine, Hot, endless, and a full on wasteland. Not everyone can survive out here but some people can take sanctuary at one of the most enjoyable places there.

Mos Eisley Cantina
Where those who need to find something to keep them active go, within the pirate land. Smugglers, bounty hunters, gang members, criminals, pirates, you could find every type of person in the galaxy here. The most dangerous one here at the moment was a smuggler who was currently playing his flute on stage hectically yet accurately, making amazing music and melodies. Tango Jorl. He play calmly with no care for whoever wanted to stop him from his music. After a minute he finished and took a bow as most of the people within the bar applauded and he took a seat at the center table and ordered himself some bantha milk.

He wasn't human but he was famous for his music along with being a smuggler he was somewhat a criminal. He had a debt with a gang which he wouldn't pay since he didn't really think they were gonna do something so he decided to wait and see if anything interesting would happen before he left the planet. One of the gang member were in the cantina closely watching him yes but he knew he could end his life in a instant and nobody would care. He'd begin to start a conversation with Twi'lek that had approached him with his drinks as was taking interest into her. He was in a talkative mood at the time so he was expecting a few people to probably want to talk to him.

Tatooine was, in Modviq's humble opinion, the single worst inhabited planet in the galaxy, bar none. Sure, if he triple checked his star charts and ran some real mental exercises he would undoubtedly find a worse planet, but Tatooine was special, as he frequently needed to be here. His distaste for the barren dust-ball came from its intense, searing dry heat. His physiology wasn't made for such blistering temperatures, as his thick, wooly fur and hulking frame were built for icier climates like Hoth or Ando Prime. Not mud balls being baked under the direct heat of twin suns. But since this sand trap seemed to inexplicably draw in every smuggler, pirate, and criminal in the galaxy the raider had to be here, as his organization was looking for bodies to throw at their problems. Preferably bodies with starships.

So, to this end, he had gotten dressed in his worst and slogged out to the dingiest and darkest of watering holes he could find, some glorified, nameless pit sitting in the midst of Mos Eisley. He staggered through the door and up to the counter and demanded a drink on ice. When the bewildered bartender asked him for a specific beverage, Mod slammed his carbine-pistol on the counter hard, causing a bottle to fall from beneath the counter. The bartender was able to catch the rum before it hit the floor, and decided to use that as the base for the Talz's request.

"Looking for smugglers." Mod grumbled between slurping at his cold drink. The bartender, having finally seemed to have calmed down from the startling entrance, began that classic tactic of wiping down a section of the bar and leaning in closer, pointing to a Bith in the corner.

"That fella back there, the Bith, got a rep as a smuggler." He replied, gesturing over to a talkative Bith musician in the corner.

"The kid? Is he even old enough to fly a ship?" Mod retorted, looking back at the young flutist.

"That's just the word around town, all I can say is that he ain't half bad on stage." Well, it was better than nothing, so Mod hauled his hulking frame up to his feet and moved into the Bith's corner.

"Heard you're a free trader. Lookin' for work?"

Tango, still flirting with the Twi'lek asked confidently and humorously "How much pay and what's the job?". He nod his head somewhere to the right where there was a group of gang members talking with eachother and from time to time throwing a stink eye Tango's way as if they were planning something. He took another sip from his mug of bantha milk and look at his weapon. His flute. He let it hang on his belt as it didn't seem to dangle.

The Twi'lek said with some caution as she realized this was a somewhat serious problem "I'll be back soon, call me" as she walked away giggling a slight bit.

Now that they were alone his previous gesture towards the gang ment to watch what he said around here. 2 more gang member joined the group, making it 4. Tango then made a wink at the Twi'lek and turned his gaze back to the smuggler that approached him. He sized him up as he didn't look half bad due to his muscle and level of intimidation. He had a passion for bar fights so he knew somethings was about to happen. He grabbed his bantha milk and tried to drink enough to the point where it would quickly get him drunk. He made a hand gesture which meant for this Talz to continue talking.

"Not a job, jobs." Mod replied, taking the offered seat as the Twi'lek skittered away. "Got some friends interested in smugglers like you."

It didn't take Mod long to notice that the Bith wasn't paying attention to him, but instead peering over his shoulder at something of significant interest. Or danger, as the musician shifted to ensure the cleanest draw of some weapon hidden on his belt by the table between them. Following his wandering eyes Mod spotted four thugs of varying species crouched together over a table in the corner. They seemed to be eyeing the Bith with a level of intense dislike, although with no clear reason as to why. These were local thugs and gutter trash, not worth the blaster gas and barely worth the attention, but if they were about to fire in his general direction his bad day would become theirs. Shifting in his seat so the foursome could see the large, cut-down rifle sitting at his hip like a pistol, he continued with the smuggler.

"We need smugglers to move goods, fence our hauls, and get our boys into places they shouldn't be. Interested yet?"

"Interested yes, agreed with it no." He somewhat shook his head in and no but a somewhat yes which made it seem a little confusing. He took out his flute and examined it while his half empty mug stood on the table.

"How many jobs? and if this last for a long while I may consider it."

He said with some interest in his tone as he could hear shuffling from behind him. By the time he turned around the number of gang members went from 4 to 7 as they were examining there weapons and continued to talk and watch Him and the Talz. Some of them made a slightly nervous face at the sight of the Talz but they waited for something as if someone was coming to discuss matters with them. Tango turned his attention to his Talz friend and pulled at the end of the flute to show him part of his phrik blade. He said with confidence and interest.

"What do you need me to do?"

"We're setting up connections. We send you a job, you take it if you're interested."

Again the ever-expanding group of goons in the back drew the smuggler's attention away from Mod, very rude. He was getting sick and damned tired of these goons interrupting his conversation, and only the Bith's restraint kept him from unloading his clip in the direction of the seven men. In the meantime, he still hadn't gotten a concrete answer from the Bith, and was getting tired of his semantic dodging.

"You interested, or what?"

Tango nodded as he was accepting the jobs for these connections. As soon as he nodded a trandosian busted through the bar doors without a weapon with a red and black uniform on and went straight ton the gang. It was then 8 of them and they all stood at once as they were about to do something. 3 of them, a Duros, Bothan, and human themselves pulled there guns and aimed them at Tango's head. The trandoshian kept eye contact with the Talz and tilted his head to door that lead out of the bar which was a signal for him to leave.

"Wheres the sword tango?" The human asked as they were ready to blast his head off. Tango had his flute in his hand and kept his grip on the end of it with his blade in it. More than half of the people and bartenders within the bar stared at the 'standoff' curious.

"Want it so badly? Tell your boss I gave you a glimpse of it." Tango said with a somewhat serious and pissed of tone as he quickly turned around and out of his chair unsheathing the 8 inch blade from his sword. He didn't have an intent to kill anybody at the moment so he used the flat side of the blade instead of the edge to knock the Duros off his feet along with the Bothan, making them pile on each other. He sliced the gun in the humans hand in half and put the blade back into his flute and pull a trigger under it, firing a blaster bolt in the humans chest which killed him. He unsheathed the blade and went in to stab the trandoshian but the blade was blasted at the edge of it, making it dart just beside the trandoshians waist by the Duros on the floor who was still under the Bothan who was knocked by hitting his head on the leg of the table they were sitting at. The trandoshian went in to punch Tango but he ducked in time to grab a mug off there table and whack into another one of the who humans face, breaking it. He grabbed the humans head and slammed it into the table before being rammed by another human along with the trandoshian as the Duros was getting up. Now pinned he put his blade back within his flute and fired a round in the humans stomach, kill him as he was able to roll out of where he was pinned at. Now the tranodshian, Duros, Rodian and human were left.

So the Trandoshan was the ringleader, huh? Apparently enough of a bigshot to warrant the bar clearing out, although the biggest fish in a pond as big as Mos Eisely was barely bait on the scale Mod worked. He hadn't intended to start a fight, but when the Bitih showed the human a sword straight through his gun Mod found himself in the middle of a brawl. Modviq turned to the Rodian and the Duros first, and with inhuman strength lifted them both up by their necks and squeezed until he felt the bones in their necks crunch. As the human charged in to avenge his allies, Mod slammed the two corpses into him and sent all three thugs flying. The Trandoshan came in from the side, attempting to slash his claws through Modviq's right side. He narrowly managed to catch the strike with both arms, wrenching the Trandoshan's arm to the left hard before responding with his own blow to the face, leaving the lizard reeling.

The sudden force of the human colliding with his back sent Mod off balance, but placing his right foot forward Mod was able to steady himself before he fell to the ground. Reaching around Mod managed to get ahold of the human's belt, pulling him to the side and throwing him aside. Before the Trandoshan could recover Mod grabbed ahold of his shoulder and pulled on his hand as hard as possible. While he couldn't tear his arm off, Mod could certainly break it, and as the ringleader roared in pain Mod grabbed him by the throat with both hands and slammed his head into the nearby wall, dislodging several teeth in the process.

Tango with his flute connected to his sword fired 2 rounds into the chest of the human that the Talz threw aside. He watched in astonishment as the Talz finished off the Trandoshan and didn't small clap which didn't last long. He examined the body of the human that he shot who seemed to have a different uniform than the other memebers. He found a message on datapad saying that Tango Jorl is to be assassinated after he retrieves the sword along with some future plans that he downloaded into his own datapad. He examined the bodes that his Talz friend killed and knew why Talz were described as a somewhat brutish tribe after looking at the necks of his victims and the trandoshans arms.

"Sorry about that minor skirmish, they wanted the sword that's in my flute. I stole it from them." He said with a slight chuckle and some discomfort as he still watched his Talz friends handy work on the necks of the gang members. He felt somewhat ok with what happened and now wanted to join in with him and jobs even more.

"As I was saying before we were interrupted, I'm interested in joining this" He said with interest and still some slight discomfort in his tone which was fading away in his mind as he tried to adapt to this being normal. He didn't know if his Talz friend was angry or at a neutral in his emotions so he waited for him to respond.

"Whatever." As the smuggler finished off the human, Mod made sure the Trandoshan stayed down by stomping hard on his neck with a prominent crunch. If you left people alive they tended to come after you, and he didn't want to see this guy and his three buddies in a dark alley one day. With this business concluded he finally got the affirmative he'd been working so hard, at least hard by his standards, to get today. Taking his seat back at the table he pulled a small data card from his belt pocket and placed it on the table.

"Contact and drop point information. The Blackbird's will contact you for most jobs, but if you want to get in on some action yourself call us up."

Tango Jorl nodded as he grabbed a mug of Bantha milk off the bar and headed to the door to leave after picking up the small data card of the table. He stopped in his tracks when he reached the door and said to the Talz without looking at him "My names Tango, hope we meet again" and left out of the cantina and towards his ship which was in a hanger alone and shiny as ever. The night was cold in the ever lasting desert with people still scavenging for there lives as for Tango chose a life of danger instead a life of safety.
