Metropolis was a little out of breath. Spice deal gone bad. Not even a big one, just his personal lesai stash. He never had trouble with the big ones. But evidently when a dealer's mother offers you a drink and after sipping you pull a hold out blaster on them, the dealer may take offense. It was these unprofessional parts of small scale dealing that led to such trouble, in his mind. And in his defense he was certain he had been poisoned. Such things were common back home. Cultural differences really.

As he ran he had managed to acquire, without paying, both a large woman's faux fur coat and a pair of large sunglasses, from two different street vendors who had also joined the pursuit. The glasses helped cover the rapidly developing black eye he had also just acquired. He looked behind him to the alley he had just exited. No sign of pursuers. Yet. Across the street lay a strip joint. It looked closed at the time, but he wasn't sure. This was not an hour of the day such establishments received many customers. But someone he assumed was a dancer dressed in their day wear was heading straight for a side entrance.

This was his chance to get off the street and he ran for it. He stretched out with the fear induced force powers and tickled what he assumed a bouncer's neck by the main entrance, causing him to look to the side. He just made it to the door as the dancer was going in.

"Late for an interview." Metropolis explained to the dancer he managed to just push instead of tackle as he redirected to the side. He patted the dancer's shoulder as he made his past. His back straightened and his pace became surer once inside. He took it all in. Now off the street his anxiety had waned and a weird idea had just taken him. "Oh krakk. What was the owner's name again?" He turned around and asked the presumed dancer before he opened the stage door.

"Cait?" The surprised dancer seemed to answer out of pure shock from being handled more than anything.

"Thanks." Metropolis said and exited. Past the stage lights, he identified what looked like exits and threats in case he needed to run again. An old habit that had grown stronger after recent events. The place looked pretty typical of Nar Shaddaa, but might be considered dingy on say, Coruscant. He appreciated that though. The moody style of neon lighting. A bit of grime here, there, mostly everywhere. After seven years it had started to feel like home to him. The dancers on offer weren't the best, but he assumed they saved those for prime hours. And the bouncers could use some training. Yes, this place could do.

"Where's Cait?" He said as he jumped off the stage. "I'm her new business partner." Metro said all this loudly enough, hands now on his hips and feet steady. His strange get up and stage entrance seemed to confuse the confidence he was trying to project with the people it was intended for though. It was one of those situations where confidence and mental issues could both be interpreted. And of course that last bit he had uttered was not true. Not yet at least.

It was one of those nights where Cait was run off her feet. Maybe it was luck, or maybe word of the Lusty Lekku had reached more ears due to the few ads she'd spend some credits on. It was risky to spend the few extra credits she had on the ads. Not because ads wern't usually effective, but because it was Nar Shaddaa and even if an (ad) company looked legit, it didn't mean it was. They could've ran off with her credits and done nothing, but it looked like they hadn't done that thankfully.

Tonight she was in a leather outfit that fit snugly against her feminine curves. The boots she had found a few days ago matched perfectly with it, thankfully. The black made her curly red hair pop a little more, especially the curls that hung loosely on her shoulders. She usually pushed her hair to one side but tonight let it flow wherever it wanted to. Mostly because she was busy and couldn't keep pushing it to the correct side, but also because she was feeling a little more adventurous than usual.

But maybe not adventurous enough for a seemly crazy man to pop on and off her stage, claiming that he was her business partner. He'd gotten some weird looks, that was for sure, though it wasn't like she was against the idea of a business partner. Just... maybe not with a crazy man.

Biting her bottom lip for a second in thought, she weaved her way through the crowd till she was in front of him. "Uhm, hey there, I'm Cait," she spoke up with a half-smile, half-concerned for her safety look. However, she still went to grab his arm and pull him behind her, if he diidn't jerk away when she did so.

Either way, she'd guide him to one of the empty corner booths, expecting him to sit down across from her. She adjusted the bottom of her dress before she sat down and signaled for him to sit too. "Now, I'm pretty sure I don't have a business partner, but I'm all ears if you want to get into business with me."

Cait signaled to one of her girls, raising her voice to say, "Two whiskies please" before turning back to the man. "Assuming you have credits or skills to offer me, that is, and you're mentally stable." She laughed after the last few words left her lips, but it wasn't exactly a joke.

Metropolis peeked over his sunglasses at Cait as she emerged from the crowd.

"I'm Metropolis." He responded to her greeting. When she grabbed his arm, for some reason it reminded him of when he grabbed someone else's arm recently. A bounty he had been after. He planned to have her use him for credits though, as he had used the bounty. He decided it could be a good omen. Or maybe a terrible one. He doubted she could pull a hold out blaster as fast from that dress anyhow. Thinking about her abilities as they maneuvered through the crowd, he noticed the way she moved with poise. At first he assumed dancer, but her walk was less flirty, and had more of an edge to it. Less wasted in each step. More sure. Maybe military training. Maybe martial arts. And she led him with confidence. That could simply being used to leading at her business though. He was running through the possibilities when they got to the booth. Whatever it was he decided there was more to Cait than met the eye, and this could an interesting meeting. His arms along the booth he leaned back, and he listened to what she had to say.

"Noodles too." Metropolis shouted after Cait ordered whiskey. He had no idea if they served food, but if they did it wouldn't hurt to try it. And his appetite was returning. He was certain now there had been no poisoning attempt. It had probably just been a bad stomach ache and a dramatic and profuse apology was in order if he wanted to patch things up with his friend/spice dealer. And his mom too.

"I'm crazy enough to live on this moon. But I also have credits." He said in response to Cait's offer. His eyes focused on her own as he leaned across the booth to whisper. She'd have no trouble hearing if she played along and leaned in to conspire with him. He paused for a moment in between each piece of his offer's outline:

"And let's say that's the problem. Let's say I had too many credits. And those credits are filthy. Ill-gotten. Going to have many more soon too. And they all need cleaning. Through a business would do. I'd need an owner to help."
He leaned back after another moment.

"It'd be dangerous, dirty, and maybe very profitable. You down for that sort of thing, Cait?"
He cocked an eyebrow and tilted his head to the side just as much. There wasn't much more business to discuss if Cait wasn't ready for a little trouble tonight.
