Above Ryloth
Vestar strode onto the bridge of Hell's Nightmare, and the entire bridge staff stared at him. The stares initiated in an assumption they would have an answer as to their presence in Ryloth, but many began staring at the black eye that adorned the man's eye. "Sir... are you alright?" His first mate, Lieutenant Jasko Velaz was staring at him.
"Yes I'm fine Jasko. One of the Gamorians got cocky." He said, lying to protect Ryan Jacen. The man was going through a rough emotional period right now and he knew it. Sixteen years of service bought the man a break, a second chance.
Jasko gawked "Was he dealt with?"
Trane nodded "Kyramud put a round through his head."
Jasko gave a smile, and the entire bridge let out a sigh. He moved to his command chair and sat down, "Patch me through to ship comms."
"Affirmative!" Jasko said.
"Attention, all KES personnel, I owe you all an explanation." He paused "We have been at Ryloth to negotiate a deal with the vile Nor'baal the Hutt, of clan Vesajilic. We were lured here by a honeypot scam that they fed to Kyramud. Upon arrival we were cornered, threatened, and presented with a deal mandating us to surrender our freedom, individuality, and power to the Hutt, for nothing but pure survival, no frills." He paused "They are expecting us to be at Nal Hutta within the week to surrender, as I told Nor'baal I would take the deal."
Murmurs spread across the bridge as Trane made the comment.
"Keine Götter, Keine Meister." Trane said, simply uttering the phrase. "We live by it. We founded this company and this navy under it, and we will not break it. We will NOT be Nor'baal's slaves. And we will not be going to Nal Hutta." he tapped his chair and ended the transmission. Murmurs again took over the volume of the room as he beckoned Jasko over "Set destination for Daedalus. We're going to begin selling off all that we have."
"Yes sir!" Jasko said.

Prudii sat on the edge of his bed, helmet in his hands. He stared into the visor. For many beings, it had been the last thing they had ever seen. The cold, black stare that claimed lives. He saw the scorches and scars of attempts to claim his life that had failed. He noted the most crusted blood on the dome of it where Jacen had used it as a weapon against him, the scar on the forehead where Jacen had slammed it against a wall, and the scuffing as it had slid across the floor. He knew each scar on the helmet, and knew why they were there. Setting the helmet down he stood, detached his armor and laid down. What came next would be difficult.
