How long had she been away? She couldn't even remember. It felt like forever. But the business trip to Dromund Kaas was important and she wasn't able to leave until everything was settled. She hadn't brought Gil along because she knew he wasn't a fan of the planet, and she was spending time with her Sith business partner. Her main and only one currently; main now that the the emperor was dead.

She was on the beach, wearing black bikini and a white sun hat. The two items clashed in color, yet something about it appealed to her. While she was a red head, she still enjoyed the warmth of the sun on her pale, alabaster skin. She hadn't been on the beach too long today, only recently arriving to Sarka.

More than that, she was waiting for Gil to arrive. She asked him to come to Sarka, to a beach resort she'd decided she needed. Not just needed to be at, but needed as in own. Somewhere she could both make credits and relax whenever she wanted. Admittedly, she hadn't really told him why she wanted him to come. The message was rushed and just read, "Let's vacation on Sarka!" with the resorts address and the time she'd be on the beach.

The whole trip wasn't going to be about taking over this place though, she also wanted to relax and have some fun. And when she thought of fun, the first person who came to mind was Gil. Gil, the sweet man whom she'd grown to love the company of. And, of course, enjoyed teasing. She was thinking about him when, in the corner of her eye, she spotted him.

"Gil!" she sqee'd, nearly jumping as she did, suddenly finding herself running across the beach to him. Running so fast that her hat blew away in the wind, but she didn't even care. Not one bit. When she got to him she jumped into his arms, putting both her hands on his cheeks and kissing him deeply.

Cait had been away for a while, and Gil had been busy back on Nar Shaddaa busy in his own way managing their growing forces. He had a new found respect for Cait and how she had managed the Lusty Lekku, not envying her. He had recently dealt with a rival gang attacking the club and kidnapping some of the dancers. While he had recovered them all, he realized that they were not the easiest people to manage. Gil was still a little beat up from that encounter, a bandage still on his shoulder where he had been stabbed during the rescue mission.

When he got the message that Cait wanted to meet on Sarka for a vacation, he was a little surprised. The words Vacation and Cait didn't really go together. He had to often force her into taking nights off but he wouldn't argue with her here. He missed her and was excited to get to spend some time alone.

He arrived at the resort, his bag was taken from him at the front desk and he made his way out onto the beach. The Dense jungle opened up onto a pristine white sand beach, the sound of rolling waves was extremely relaxing.

He stepped out on the beach and scanned for any signs of the woman. He heard her before he actually saw her, turning just in time to catch her. He used her momentum and spun her around, laughing. He held her, kissing her back. It was good to hold her again. He stopped himself, already feeling overwhelming urges.

Still holding her, he rested his forehead against hers, letting he red hair fall around his face. "I've missed you." he whispered.

Cait felt the air rush around them as he spun her, kissing him passionately until he stopped. She looked into his eyes lovingly, not wanting to let go as he whispered. Leaving her lips a hair's breadth away from his the whole time; so she could still taste him, his breath, his lips. She breathed back, "I missed you too, Gil." She kissed him again. "So much."

After soaking in the closeness for handful of heartbeats, she got down but still remained close to him. Wrapping her arms around one of his to walk down the beach together. He had spun them close to the water, and she could feel it tickling her feet. It felt nice. Refreshing even. But it was nothing compared to how Gil made her feel; her whole world brightened when he was around and Cait couldn't deny that.

Stopping for a second, she unraveled her arms from his, reaching down to hold his hand instead. Cait looked out into the waves, watching the sparkling blue gently lap against the rocks that peaked out all around. Breathing in the fresh air, closing her eyes for brief moment.

She thought on something. Something she had wanted to say for awhile now. Something her heart wanted to do, but she wasn't quite sure how he'd react. After the moment of quiet, Cait finally turned back to him. Looking up to him and locking her eyes with his wonderful green ones. Those breathtakingly beautiful eyes of his. Then she just said it, "Gil, do you think we should be official?"

They walked along the beach quietly for a time. He didn't need words. He needed this. He needed the feeling of her arm wrapped in his, he needed the sweet-smelling ocean breeze as it mixed with her scent, he needed her.

There were so many things they needed to worry about. People to take care of, but for a while, he decided that he would let that go. Giving it up for her wasn't a hard decision, he would throw it all away right then if she had asked. None of it mattered to him in that moment.

Then she stopped, intertwining her fingers in his and looked out over the ocean. He could feel she was contemplating something. He didn't have the Force, but he knew how to read people, but more importantly, he knew her. The way she shifted unconsciously, tightened her grip on his hand.

Finally, she turned to him. It was such an innocent question. One of their first real conversations together she had expressed the worry that she was some sort of monster. The contrast between that statement and her know was almost funny. It brought a smile to his face. The answer was easy to him, though maybe she already knew. He wasn't convinced she could just read his mind, he still wasn't sure how any of that worked.

He took both her hands in his, and lifted them to his face before kissing both gently. "I love you, Cait Aisliin. I have since the first night we spent together. We can call it whatever we want, but it could never change the way I feel about you." he said as he wrapped his arms around her, pulling her towards him.

She felt him kiss her hands, prompting her to smile softly. Then... his words hit her hard; it was the second time he had surprised her. Tears welled in her eyes and spilled on her cheeks. She cried openly. She cried hard. She cried tears of happiness, tears of emotion, tears of how she felt towards him. Her body collided with his and her hands wrapped around him as she buried her face into his chest.

She was a woman and couldn't help it. Strong emotions made her cry. It took some time before she could muster an answer between the tears and sobs, "I love you too," she sobbed harder, her body shaking now. "I love you so much, Gillian Rel." Cait gripped him tight. "I'm sorry for being so emotional... I'm sorry for crying," she apologized, embarrassed for crying despite knowing she couldn't help herself.

"It's silly, but Gil, I love you so much it hurts my heart," she added, admitting shortly after, "And if you asked me to, I'd give up the galaxy for you." Even though she was still emotional, she was able to calm herself somewhat after she admitted it all, enough that the tears slowed.

Breathing in deeply and slowly to calm herself a little more, she was able to push herself back to look up to him. "Maybe," she mustered, wiping away some tears from her face. "We should get a drink, or something to eat. We can discuss how to purchase or take this place for The Exchange." Cait bit her bottom lip somewhat. "I... think I forgot to tell you I want it." She laughed.

He leaned down, kissing her on the top of her head as she held on to him. They were the only ones out of the beach, but they might as well have been the only ones in the entire Galaxy.

Her reply made him feel lighter than air. They clung to each other, the only thing marking the passing of time was gentle rolling waves that crashed up onto the beach.

When she looked up, he gently held the side of her face, wiping away a tear with his thumb. Then, in classic Cait fashion, she moved to business. She had indeed failed to tell him of her plans. He didn't want to eat, drink, talk business, any of those things.

She would sense that too, he had never been able to hide such thing from her. He let out a breath, he would deny his own wishes for time together on the beach for a time...a short time. "Lead the way." he said with a smile.

"...and you should have told me..." he said playfully nudging her as they walked away from the water. "I could have prepared better."

She could sense that he didn't really want to leave the beach, though it was tough for her not to switch to business. Business calmed her down, usually. Unless, of course, it had something to do with her employees and their welfare.

Holding his hand, she made her way down the beach with him. The hotels restaurant was on the edge of the beach and most of it was outdoors due to Sarka's usually warm weather. While it could rain at night, all items were waterproof or meant to be outside so it didn't cause many issues.

Sitting down at a table outside, one of the 'waitresses' came up to speak to the pair. She was wearing a slave collar, and if someone looked close enough, they could see she had tried to cover multiple bruises with makeup. Cait didn't like that. It soured her mood, even though she had just confessed her love for Gil.

The slave waitress placed some menu's in front of the pair and asked if they wanted any drinks. "A Sunset Surprise please," Cait answered, knowing it was a good alcoholic beverage she'd tried on another world before, though she was unable to stop looking at the multiple bruises on the woman. The woman would wait for Gil's drink order before leaving.

After Cait looked back at Gil, finding her smile again before reaching for one of his hands across the table. She just liked to be close to him; she couldn't help it. Though she tried to at least half-focus on business. Before started, however, she said simply, "I love you." Smiling widely, then continuing, "So I choose to come here now because I know the owner of the building is here."

Cait paused to look up towards the building, they'd have to figure out what room the man was in and the hotel was pretty big. Shaking her head somewhat she looked back at Gil. "I noticed they had a lot of slaves around here. People have told me new ones arrive almost daily, so I was thinking one of us could pose as a new slave and be presented to the owner. Learn where he's staying and get close to him at the same time."

Gil glanced up at the woman as she approached. Even though they were hidden, he spotted the signs of abuse. It made sense while she had chosen this place. If Cait could expand her reach, and help people at the same time she usually tried to do that. It was part of what made her stand out in the criminal world.

"Whiskey." he said, giving the woman a half smile. "Right away." the slave responded to both Cait and himself and moved away to fetch their drinks.

Cait took ahold of his hand and he leaned forward. "and here I thought you choose to come here to spend time with me." he said, chuckling. It never was just one thing with Cait, and Gil liked that about her. He sighed, squeezing her hand softly. "So what's the plan?" he said resigning his vacation to working.

He leaned back in his chair as the drinks came. He listened as she explained her plans, or at least the first part of her plan. "and by one of us, you mean me?" he said raising an eyebrow. Not too long ago, he had dressed up like a slave to go assassinate some Wookie, but before he had been thoroughly handled by the creature.
