Blue lights disappeared into the darkness as Calesvol appeared from Hyperspace high above the planet of Dathomir. The small fighter a tiny dot in the endlessness of space, Artorigas or Darth Caelestis he still did not know how to even address himself paused for a moment above the deep red world. Out here alone he could feel the vastness of everything and from that see how far he had risen. The last time he set foot here he had been a lowly Acolyte with only a little charm and the luck of being paired with a Queen a few weeks earlier. Now he returned as something more a Sith Lord a King of Exegol with more than just a familiarity to return to this place with, he now had a purpose and a reason to meet with the Queen.

He took a deep breath, though the air was far from clean, recycled a hundred times since he left Exegol on the far side of the Galaxy. But it allowed him to centre himself before he grabbed the flight stick before him and began the dive down into the atmosphere of the planet. The journey was short but it allowed him time to feel the essence of the world beneath him, not only had his name and title grown in these past few months but his connection to the mythical and cosmic energy that was The Force had grown exponentially. He could feel the planets lifeforce as well as those who lived upon it, as the Calesvol came into land only a few meters from where he had previously he felt a shift within The Force.

Exiting the ship there was no one there to greet him at the time and he made the walk up towards his destination the eyes that once stared down did so in less numbers but in more wary fashion. This could not be just because of his change in rank and name, no something else had happened here and he could feel it more and more as he got towards the top of the hill, for here he could sense death.

Finally he spotted Nightsisters, no longer keeping a watchful eye from the shadows but standing full guard upon the entrance, they seemed tense and worry and anger radiated from them through The Force. Perhaps the rumour was true, though he had only heard it once his seclusion on Exegol so far away from the Sith Order meant that little reached that isolated and secret outpost. But he had stopped at Ajan Kloss to stretch his legs and the small outpost there had rumours that The Eternal had visited Dathomir. The guards however were expecting him, for his visit had long been forecast, a chance for him to give an update upon Exegol and his plans for his own domain.

He stepped through the entrance way remembering the Nightsister Sheehan had lead him here before, it was Queen Andruil's throne room, vast and open leaving little in the way of luxury, no this was a room of statement and power. For those walking to the throne were to feel alone and in the open, afraid that their words would not be taken well and they would be struck from this world. Within this room the feeling of death was the greatest, his eyes drifting to a single spot though there was no physical evidence that something happened there was a hole a tear within The Force something great had died here.

Artorigas clenched his fist hoping that if this rumour was true that Queen Andruil had survived and it was not The Eternal that would walk through those doors, for if it was the later he was not sure what he would do. His mind drifted through a dozen answers, but one kept coming back to him, he was loyal and devout to this women the reason why he could not say, if Andruil was dead even if it was not know he would have some manner of revenge. The Sith Noble smiled at his stupid thought and wondered what the Queen would say if she ever found out what just went down in his mind.

Renfry was still recovering from her injuries, though she was doing much better now than she had even a few days after the duel. As Art crossed the threshold of the throne room he would see the damage it had taken in the Eternal's fury. Some had been cleaned up and the dead had been moved, but death still hung in the air to those who knew how to feel it.

Arla, Iliacus, and Taureen had all been some of the first to meet the Eternal in battle and all had been slain. Sheehan had been injured, but much to Renfry's relief, the Captain of her Guard had survived her injuries. Still, the death's hung heavily over her.

But she never slowed down. There was too much to do and very little time to prepare herself for what was to come. She wouldn't let the Sith Order splinter on her watch. How many times had she said that over the last few days?

She could sense Art's arrival and headed out of one of the side halls to meet him in the throne room. She had to step around the fallen pillar that was yet to be cleared.

Hello, Artor... - mm - Darth Caelestis, she corrected. While her greeting wasn't impolite by any means, it was clear that she was perhaps not quite as laid back or nonchalant as some of her previous greetings.

You're here about Exegol's progress? she asked. She was sure rumors had begun to spread, but she couldn't make it too easy on people who wanted information, right? Though, she had to admit, she rather liked the newly minted Sith Lord.

And congratulations on your new position. Well earned, she complimented.

Artorigas let out a small breath that he had unknowingly been holding, she was alive that was a positive beginning. The Sith Lord straightened slightly as he saw Queen Andruil enter through one of the many side entrances to the grand throne room. He gave her a bow as she approached. "Mi' Queen, thank you." Artorigas replied, though he had expected her to use his new title he was also more than comfortable with the women using his real name. A strange thought considering he had never learned hers. Straightening his bow he was ready to begin his little update on how Exegol went when he spotted the visible damage to the women.

Perhaps to much emotion was shown in his face at that moment, concern spread over his features for a moment before he pulled it away, the years of noble procedure washing him free of physical emotion. Even though she had not said anything Artorigas was not dumb he could put two and two together, The Eternal had been here, for only one that powerful could do so much harm to the women. Perhaps Stolas could match her but he could not see any reason the man would attack Andruil. But as she lived, breathed and talked it could mean only one thing, that she had won. That hole within The Force he felt, that must have been the last breath of The Eternal. He gave a quick look over to the spot before pulling himself back to the women. "Mi'Queen, you are." He held himself, was it right for him to be concerned? He was unsure and he bit lip, protocol came first he was here for Exegol not to check up on the women. Though it was an added benefit, it was the reason he was reporting to her and not Stolas today.

"Exegol goes well, with the new droid workforce we have been able to activate some of the nearest shipyards to The Citadel, there is some old muck in there. But we hope to have it fully moving within the week, production will start imminently." Artorigas was formal, perhaps to formal overcompensation for his early outburst.

Renfry was still consumed in her thoughts of what had happened and stifling the injuries that clung to her side, but she still found herself wanting to smile at him. It was almost adorable the way that he looked at her and tried - unsuccessfully - to stifle his concern.

Injured? So kind of you to point out a woman's defects, she said, no longer able to suppress the grin spreading across her face. It was a joke and she was not actually offended. She probably should have still been tense - part of her still was - but she found it surprisingly relaxing being around him. He was quite a pleasant person.

She listened to his brief report about Exegol, and was quite glad to hear it. Good. That will be quite an asset. Perhaps you'll invite me out to see it sooner rather than later, she said. She'd not been to Exegol before, and if she were being honest, she would quite like to visit.

"Renfry" is the answer to your question. Though I'll quite miss the way "Mi'Queen" slides off your tongue, she smirked coyly before turning back toward the door she had come through.

Come on, lunch is almost ready, she said, heading in the direction of the dining hall. It had been recently expanded to suit more people, though it still wasn't a world that was really for hosting many people. It occurred to her that if she ruled the Sith, she would likely have to do it from a world that wasn't here. She didn't want that much attention or traffic brought to Dathomir.

Artorigas stumbled over the last of his previous words at her comment about her defects. He tried to spit out a word or two in defence before he spotted the grin across her face. 'Was she teasing him?' Artorigas was still unsure how to take the women, one moment she was serious, the edge of the deadly creature he had met upon Makem Tee, the next the lively and bright character he had entertained upon Serenno. "I would be glad for you to visit, though I hope to have it in slightly better living conditions by the time you visit." He replied, The Citadel although now free of the mutated creatures was still more of a forward operating base than any real place to call a home.

It took him a moment to process what she had said, the name Renfry slipping through his mind for a moment and not until he reached the end of her comment did he realise what she had said. "Renfry." He said softly under his voice, following the women through one of the many side entrances towards what he assumed was a dining hall or at least the kitchen. He did a little quick step/jog to catch up to her as she slipped into the passageway. Coming up along side, though a pace back, she was still his superior at least and protocol was protocol in his mind.

"Mi'Queen." He began a smirk upon his own face, I guess some protocol's can be stretched. "I assume you can guess my next question, I have seen what happened within the hall, I can feel what happened with The Force. The Eternal is dead is he not?" Unlike perhaps many of his brethren the death of the old Dark Lord actually meant little to the Sith Noble, he had never met the person nor honestly felt their grip upon him, perhaps if it had lasted longer since his rise to Sith Lord he may have come further into contact with the enigma. "And I trust, you are not to injured?" Fine he said it.

They headed down the side passage, a deep stony tunnel that led toward the newly carved dining room. A large table was set though only at one end for the pair of diners.

As he asked about the Eternal, she spun quickly so that he would nearly walk into her. She looked up at him, the height difference once again almost comical, and her eyes met his. Their natural golden color wasn't quite as wild as they could be, but there was a hint of it below the surface.

And for a long moment, she just looked at him, searching his eyes. The rumors had begun to spread as she knew they would, and she knew that at this precise moment she was still in a somewhat precarious position. Whether she was judging his intentions or something else entirely wasn't clear.

Nothing you see here leaves this world, she stated, her voice ice cold. It wasn't entirely intentional that she snapped into such a serious state, but this was a topic that had become of the utmost importance to her. It had consumed every waking moment of her life since the killing blow was struck.

She took a step backwards and as she did, her features began to soften once again, though the intensity in her eyes still seemed to burn of its own accord.

She stepped into the dining hall and moved over to sit in one of the seats, motioning for Caelestis to take a seat across from her.

She's dead and I am healing, she said after a moment before pausing again. There was still a great deal to do, but this was likely one of the best times to discuss what was coming. He had already secured power and reputation for himself, and... she actually rather liked him.

Many things are going to change in the coming days. Can I count on you? she asked directly. It was the question that needed to be addressed before she went any further.

The quick turn caught him by surprise and he had to catch his forward momentum from crashing into her. They were dangerously close, it brought his mind back to Serenno and that brief time the pair had spent on the dance floor. Her eyes were intense, the look upon her face was one that meant business and it took all of his control to keep from smiling. Artorigas was not one for serious looks and often broke tension with a smile or a joke, but he knew this was perhaps not the time, perhaps something else to break the tension?

He wondered if he should say something but then she broke the silence. Her voice had changed all the warmth removed, this was a serious business, probably lucky he had chosen not to smile or crack a joke. Artorigas took a small step back and bowed his head, "Mi'Queen." It was spoken more formally than before and it was his agreement to not speak a word of it without her say so. Though she stepped away and some of that seriousness left her posture, Artorigas chose to keep his own posture more formal at least for the moment.

"As always Mi'Queen, not only myself but the forges of Exegol are at your beck and call." Some may have questions his lack of hesitation in the matter, but there was honestly only two options at best to succeed The Eternal as Dark Lord, Andruil and Stolas. Artorigas had a good relations with both, but his relationship with Anduil had been the first and well first impressions are always the most important his mother always told him. Plus she had accepted his strange views upon the Sith when he was sure many perhaps Stolas included would have removed his head.

"I am glad you survived." He paused for a moment a smile creeping across his face. "I heard The Eternal had a poor taste in food and wine, I was about to revolt myself." Damnit, why could he never keep serious.

It was a relief to hear him say that. He had a growing number of assets to his name these days, and they would become more important to the Order with each passing day.

Thank you, she said, rather unexpectedly to even herself. It was a relief in its own way to hear that. She wasn't going to keep second-guessing herself anymore.

As am I, she said, though she was quite caught off guard by the quipping comment about the Eternal's food and wine. She didn't laugh herself, but looked... almost confused, quirking an eyebrow up before the faintest smile tugged at her lips.

If that's your whole reason for revolting, I might need to rethink supporting your title, she said, face finally losing the last few bits of cold stiffness that it had taken on a minute ago.

I will call the other Lords together soon and set a new direction of the Sith, she said. I'm glad to have your support. It was perhaps the last bit of business or not.

So did you come all the way out here simply to try to determine what happened to the Eternal? she asked. She guessed as much and was glad that the number of visits she had received had thus far been limited and only included people she liked.

The stupid comment had done what it needed to, though no laugh or smile had come from the Darth, it had broken the dark cloud hanging above her and that was its true game. Artorigas could not deal with serious or moody nature, perhaps that was why he had struggled to fit in with the super strict, always thinking about evil and conquering Sith when he first joined. Though he had gained a thicker skin since then and could easily ignore it when one of his brethren went on a Tarrant about killing innocents and drinking there blood.

"I am sure the tables of Dathomir are much better than those of The Eternals, and I can always educate you on better wine choices." He replied with a grin. He was interested to hear that she was calling a meeting so soon, though it made sense she needed to solidify her power base and even with Exegol behind him Anduil needed much more than the single Sith Lord to truly take The Eternal's place.

"Actually no Mi'Queen." He began, keeping the title in there on purpose. "I only heard of the rumours once I was already half way here. Little gets out to Exegol in the first place and the droids are not one for gossip no matter how you program them." Moving round to the head of the table and pulled out the chair for Andruil to sit, as only a true gentleman would do.

Once the Queen had taken a seat he would take his own to her right. "I came to give an update on Exegol and to continue our conversation from Serenno." He replied. "Though it seems that I have achieved both of my goals, for you know of Exegol and I your name. Although I am ashamed that it feels rather one sided, is it not?"

She was surprised when he pulled out the chair for her, though she shouldn't have been. He was quite the proper one. Always using the proper address, acting polite, and standing on ceremony.

Well, well, you've managed all your objectives here today, then, haven't you? she said. She looked over to him.

You're quite the smooth operator, it seems, she said with a smirk before turning back to her food.

There was an array of largely meets but some sour tasting fruits as well. Typical Dathomirian cuisine that the others here had gotten quite accustomed to preparing for her guests.

She began to eat before she continued speaking again.

What is it you're after? What is it you want? she asked. She was already fairly certain she knew the answer in its broadest sense, but that could mean many things to many people and come in many packages.

He had been vague on purpose, trying to tease a little more of the women's personality from the Queen. But it seems she had not read his words as intended, he gave her a warm smile in return. "I am sorry Mi'Queen but I believe you misunderstood me. For a name is a powerful thing and worth more than any report, it is I that owe you something in return." Artorigas replied as he took one of the sour fruit from the table before him. Purposefully waiting for the Queen to start eating before he did so himself.

He used a knife to cut the small fruit into four quarters and then picked up the first with the tip of the knife biting into its soft flesh. "Though I would not turn down a willing offer, if you give it." He said with a glint in his eye, between mouthfuls. Artorigas finished the first slice and moved onto the second relishing in the sour taste of the fruit. It would go well with Gin he thought, this a little vermouth and you have an excellent cocktail, perhaps he could introduce it to the Dathmorian palette, everyone could always do with more cocktails in there life.

She quirked an eyebrow at him. He liked to play games. It was a common theme among the Lords of the Sith Order and it seemed he would fit in quite well in his new role.

Oh you're in my debt, you say? she said, taking a bite of her steak and deciding that whatever they had hunted today was in absolutely top form. It practically melted in her mouth and she remembered that it was actually quite good to be Queen. No more eating disgusting rubbery insectoid that she had hunted because it was all she could catch in the morning.

Maybe I'll just hold onto that debt, then, she said with a smirk.

We all want something. I want to know what you want: power? Knowledge? Prestige? What do you want? she asked.

Or do you even know? she asked. She took another bite. He had been one filled with confusion since she had first met him. Much of that had been cleared in time, but she thought it remained. Buried, but present. Confusion that he was still searching for something he couldn't name.

He smirked back at her comment, it seemed that the edge from the beginning of his visit had been quickly shaved away. That was good, for Artorigas not only hated heated conversations but hated watching others within them, he was a defuser, perhaps the worse personality trait to have within the Sith Order but it is one which had served him well so far at least.

He was playing with another quarter of the fruit when she threw out a question he was neither expecting nor if he was honest knew the answer. Artorigas had reached everything he had wanted in life, the House of Wessex was within his hands, he had grown in power and knowledge of The Force, had become a Sith Lord, reached a world thought lost to all those in the galaxy, had even began the creation of his very own Kingdom. What else could he honestly wish for? His mind was lost to the question, had he achieved everything he wanted in life? That could not be it, it could not be over, for to not wish for something was to not have purpose.

Artorigas picked up the piece of fruit and chewed it slowly, his eyes staring into the plate as his mind tried to decipher what his heart wanted. Could it be something as simple as Power, Love? They seemed too simple of an answer to the Sith Noble, but was that just because he thought he would, no should want something more complex. Then there was the question should a Sith Lord ever want for Love? Was that just a fools game that was destined for failure in this cut throat society? Power made sense, power was what the Sith were about, but was power only an answer because that's what expected of his kind? It seemed that a single question from the Sith Queen had opened up a thousand within his mind, heart and soul.

Looking up from his plate he turned to look at the women, was she the answer, or at least a part of the solution? She could grant him power, for Queen Andruil was soon to become the most powerful women in the Sith, even to be sat at her table could bring him more power than he could have dreamed off months ago. His mind drifted further but he pulled it back, fantasies and stupid tales would do him no good.

"That is something I have yet to figure out it seems. I achieved a lot in a short time, to the point I have gone past my original ambitions and wants. I think, I need time to figure out what I truly want." Pushing back from the table slightly he kept his eyes on the women, a smile moved across his face, gone was the man in deep contemplation, all serious nature disappeared. It was a front for behind that smile as those bright eyes his mind still continued to roll over what she had said and probably would for days to come.

"What will be your next steps after the council of Lords? Maybe looking to create an heir?"

She continued to eat as he thought and she let him linger on it. Whether he was deciding the answer to the question or trying to think of a diplomatic lie remained to be seen. She stood from her chair and headed around the table, grabbing a small pitcher and bringing it back to the table. Queen or not, she liked to do her own things these days. She poured herself a glass of tart juice and poured a glass for Artorigas as well.

She set it down, but didn't take a seat once again, sipping from her own glass and instead sliding so that she sat slightly on the table.

His answer was intriguing to her and one she understood better than he knew. She had left her world to seek knowledge. She had found it and a place in another Order. She'd risen to become Queen, pursued a man who was always just outside her grasp, and decided she had everything she wanted.

And then she had pushed to the Council, continued to climb when she didn't need to, and now was on the verge of taking over an Empire.

And she didn't regret it.

Her own mind was pulled back in again from where it had wandered as he spoke. Time will show you. Don't falter in the meantime, she said, letting her mind linger for a moment on what it was she thought he wanted.

And then the eyebrow rose again, the faintest smirk tugging at the corner of her mouth at his final comment. She thought of Emryc and the many times he had mentioned the same. She thought of the point she had made that she wanted the heir to be his and his... hesitancy.

Perhaps someday, she said without further elaboration.

Family, she muttered to herself, thinking of what it had taken her to get to where she was now. The blood of her Clan Mother clinging to her hands.

Tell me about your family, Caelestis, she said before stopping and rolling her eyes.

Do we have to use titles even here in privacy? I am Renfry, she said. In fact, her birth name was the name that her Nightsisters used for her anyway: Queen Renfry, though she wasn't asking for him to use the associated title.

Andruil has slid herself onto the table to her rather petite and well rounded bottom was right next to his hand. 'Not to bad' he thought to himself as he gave it a quick once over before turning his eyes up to lock with the Dathmorian Queens. He thought he saw something behind her eyes, when he mentioned an heir, though those greenish yellow orbs only gave away a little, not enough to truly understand what went on in her tightly closed mind.

Artorigas took a sip of the tart juice, which he had expected to be alcoholic and was bitterly disappointed when it was not. He held up the glass with a smirk on his face, waving it back and forth. "What did I say about revolting due to wine?" Before placing it back down on the table. Moving the chair back a little so he could fully see the women who now ironically towered over him sat upon the edge of the table.

"You can call me what you wish, for was I was only Artorigas when we first met. Though I thought you said you liked the way Mi'Queen rolled off my tongue." He replied, picking up the glass and taking another mouthful his eyes never leaving the Queen. Though they finally broke away when he began speaking about his family. "That is well a complicated matter to say the least, I assume you have time?"

"Lets say my relationship with my father was, not great. He was obsessed with the Wessex family line, so he concentrated on my brother. My older sisters were married off, so it was only really myself and my younger sister Cornelia when I was growing up." His face clouded for a moment when he thought about what had happened since, for not only had he deposed his father but in everything that had happened he had killed his brother.

He got a full-on frown as he promptly insulted her juice. This was her favorite drink by far, and he had just insulted it!

This is a great juice, and I'll not have any argument on it, she said, happily sipping down on it. A mix of sweet and tart, it was one of the native fruits to Dathomir. It was something she had grown up on, so perhaps it was just an acquired taste.

I do like it, hmmm, but it's a bit formal sometimes, isn't it? she said. She was being terribly inconsistent, wasn't she? Poor Artorigas was caught in the middle of it, expected to anticipate what she was thinking whether she told him or not.

As he turned to answering her question, she listened closely. She could sense the unrest there in his mind as he spoke of his family, clearly not a topic he was a great fan of. She sensed resentment, and something else festering. She didn't know what it was, but she was curious enough to keep pressing.

There's more to this story. You took your family's title, no? she asked, now quite curious.

"Perhaps I can take a few of the fruit home, see if I can ferment them?" If that didn't make him sound like alcoholic he didn't know what else could, he thought. "If you ask I can call you Renfry, though I cannot be certain that it won't slip from time to time." He replied flatly no hint of mischief like before, his mood was darkened by the thoughts of his family and what had happened back on Serenno.

When Queen Andruil, no Renfry had asked for information he was tempted to just say no, it was easier that way, to not face what had happened. That is how he had gotten by the months since he took the House of Wessex from his father and brother. But something about the women seemed to pull down his guard, if that was good or not he was not certain. "My father was a drunk, an idiot and a gambler. He ran our House and Family into the ground with his big brained ideas, foolish schemes and drunken debauchery." He began an undercurrent of venom in his breath. "Only my uncle kept us afloat, he should have taken over the family estate instead of my father, but he was born second and would never take hold of the estates. That was going to be my fate as well."

Artorigas finished the last of the tart liquid. "But then I became Sith, I met you, and others. My outlook changed, my desires, my wants, my ideals. And I knew that second place was not for me. So I took it, I went to Serenno a small army at my back and removed my father from his seat." Although he had opened up slightly Artorigas still kept that final wound shut. Looking up at the women there was still a haze of melancholy in his eyes but he had a smile on his face, hoping that she would concentrate on the later and they could all move on.

She frowned as he talked about fermenting the fruit, though it was something that had already been done by other Nightsisters. She actually preferred it this way.

I can have the alcoholic version brought up if you prefer, she said with a shrug. She doubted he would like that much better, but it was his decision.

Do as you will, she said after a moment, deciding to simply let him decide, though she wondered in what context he would let her name "slip."

She listened to his story, noting the way his tone shifted and altered as he spoke. What she had inquired about obviously caused him a great deal of disquiet within him, so she didn't press the issue further as he finished. What he had done would linger in his mind and change him, but she didn't need to pick at it more.

Then you've come a long way, she simply said instead. She slid off the table and rubbed a hand across her face.

And you'll have a long way yet to come. You spent your life trying to get out of your family's shadow, and now you have. You'll have to find what's next. Though I suppose you've found it at Exegol, she said.

Even at the mention of the planet, her mind began to swirl with the work that needed doing. She knew she would need to tend to it, but she also knew that she hoped the two would see each other again soon. He had become a rather pleasant part of her life that she hadn't expected or intended.

He was tempted to ask for the alcoholic beverage to be brought up, his bloods alcohol limit was perhaps a little to low for his liking right now. But the look on the women's face told a hundred tales which had to be told alone, not within his company. Her body was still healing and he could only imagine the million things running through her head right now when it came to running her new empire.

Artorigas pushed back the chair and stood, he was awkwardly close as he did so, he gave her a smile one full of sympathy for what was going through her mind, the weeks to come would be a harder time than either of them could truly understand. Taking a step back he gave the women a deep bow. "As much as I would love to enjoy more time in your presence, Renfry. We both have much to attend to now."

Standing straight he looked down into the women's eyes, "I look forward to seeing you again Mi'Queen." He spoke softly before turning away and making for the exit of the door. At the last moment before he disappeared beyond the doorframe he stopped and made a sharp turn on his heels. "Apologies, Mi'Empress."

She watched as he rose, knowing it was good that it would allow her the space to work, but also disappointed to see him go.

Yes, we do, she agreed, knowing that there were so many things to do. And she was excited for it.

Soon, she added onto his statement that he would be seeing her again. I'm going to come visit Exegol soon, she said. It was both business and pleasure, perhaps.

Until next time, Lord Caelestis, she said with a genuine smile.
