It was another average day in the small village of Rockfet on Ando Prime. It was midday and snow was falling vigorously from the sky, the wind was blowing at high speeds. The villages occupants were all inside, due to the ridiculous temperatures.

Dorn Locke, and his son Zek were among those who decided it was best to put on warm clothes, and spend the day indoors. Dorn was Rockfet's leader, and his son was next in line to take the position, therefore he had to teach Zek how to run the village. Today's lesson involved Zek's charisma, and like many days before, Zek sat in the armchair that faced his fathers desk. He was listening to his father talk to various villagers and politicians from other planets on his comlink taking note of how his father portrayed himself and allowed his voice to sound strong and resilient. Just as his father commed a politician from Corellia, Zek got an awkward feeling in his chest, as if something bad was about to happen. Although he was not sure what was causing the feeling he felt like she should acknowledge it. He had dreamed of trouble the night before, and his dreams had a knack for coming true.

Zek sent his father's holo pad a note "Dad, I think there may be something wrong. I have to tell you something..now."

The wind was howling on the ridge above Rockfet where the Dark Jedi sat. There were two of them present for the impending assault, Aiden and Camron. Aiden was a powerful Master Assassin whilst Camron was a Crusader. Aiden wore his usual black robes over his light armour of the same color and his lightsabers sat attached to his belt. He would be leading the pair to finish off one of the last non-Bogan settlements on the barren surface of Ando Prime. It was a small village consisting of about ten huts at most. The leader was rumored to carry a ring filled with Dark Side energy and that was another reason for coming. The attack would begin soon, witht the snow covering the advance of the two killers. Aiden spoke telepathically to Camron. "Remember we are here for slaves, but only take the strong. Massacre the weak and leave no survivors. I will take the leader down and get the ring."

A message popped up at the bottom of Dorn's holo pad, and after apologizing for the short length of their conversation, Dorn told the man on the other end of his com that he had to go. "What is it Zek? You know it is extremely important not to disturb me, especially while I am talking to a senator from another system" he said with a hint of anger in his voice.

Zek sighed, he had never told anyone about his dreams becoming realities, and he hoped that his father had similar occurrences. "Dad, do you ever dream about something, somethi..." Dorn cut him off "You mean to tell me that I ended my conversation to hear about your dreams!? Boy, I do not know if you're cut out to be a village leader! I cannot believe you would disturb me with such nonsense"

Zek slumped into his chair, "Sorry sir". He was disappointed, he was not sure if he should believe the warning he felt within his chest, and the dream he had just the night before, or if he should ignore it, since his dreams did not become a reality every time. The feeling in his chest was something new though, it was almost as if he could feel a someone's presence, although they were not in the room. Zek decided to wait a bit longer, and see if the feeling came back.

Aiden didn't wait for an answer to his instruction as he leapt off the fifteen foot ridge and landed noislessly on the gathering snow below. A trick from training with Mirrik ensured he left no prints in the snow as he took off towards the town under a Force cloak. Constant training of the power combined with drawing on the dark side would ensure that the process of cloaking himself wouldn't tire him out. As he came near the village he felt his way through the Force and noticed that noone was outside. Caed was to take care of the village and Aiden the leader. Pulling the Force to himself he accelerated his movement and was at the doors of the leader's home in the blink of an eye. Something was...off. There was a pair of Force signatures inside, the darker one was likely the ring but the other was too neutral. As he walked in he entered what would appear to be a sitting room and with someone in the kitchen that was directly forward, not that they would hear or see him cloaked as he was. To his right was a staircase which he asscended silently and stood at the top facing the four rooms. The room to the far left held his prize. Aiden entered and deactivated his cloak, showing himself to the two people in the room. He spoke in a deep and casual tone, as if he were talking with an old friend.

"Hello Dorn. I'm sure you know why I'm here. Hand over the ring, and you'll get a quick death."

Zek again felt a tingle in his chest, although this time it was much more awkward an much more intense. Just as he was about to again interrupt his father he noticed the door to the office swing open a little. He figure it was just the winds from the storm. Zek soon found out what had really opened the door a man appeared out of nowhere. Zek was startled, he did not understand how this man could just appear in the center of his father office. Even less understandalble was how the man could see, he had what appeared to be a red handkerchief tied around his head, rendering his sight useless. The man was threatening his father too, something about his ring.

Dorn stood from the chair he had been sitting in, and attempted to speak but he could not find his voice. His lips were moving but words were not coming out.

Zek felt a flare of anger build, along with the tingle of danger in his chest. He did not enjoy the thought of this man came into his home, uninvited, and he really despised him for threatening his father. Zek let his adrenalin do the talking "Who the hell do you think you are?, coming here and threatening my father, if you knew what was good for you, you would get out of here!" He felt the words come from his mouth almost effortlessly, he had not even planned to say them, it felt to him as if the tingle and anger he felt within his chest had spoken the words for him.

The snow was really begining to come down outside and the wind was howling at high speeds. Visibility was reduced to only a few feet and the wind was very loud. Aiden grinned as the boy stood and he felt the anger swelling in him through the Force. Aiden raised his palm and would attempt to lift the small boy with the Force, dangling in the air usually silenced insolent children. He turned his gaze towards Dorn and narrowed his eyebrows. "Now, wouldn't it be unfortunate if I had to kill him. He's Force sensitive you know? Would make an excellent member to our order with that firey temper of his." Aiden spoke with an air of arrogance and kept the grin on his face as he spoke. "Now, just give me the ring." He said.

Dorn watched his son be lifted off of his feet and stay suspended in the air. "Ple..please..pu..put him down I..I'll give you whatever it is you wa..want just pleaaase don't hurt Zek, he is m..my only son" he could barely form the words with his lips, he was so startled by what he assumed to be force user of some sort in front of him threatening to kill his son.

Zek was more angry than startled as he felt his feet leave the ground. He felt his stomach come up into his throat and wanted to vomit, he held it back. The anger that was brewing within him felt hot, he had never experienced a feeling a power inside his body such as this before. "What are you doing to me!? Put me down!" Zek demanded. If the man could have seen the look on Zek's face he would have known that he was not scared at all, but enraged and wanted more than anything to stop his captor from hurting his father. He began looking around for things he could hurt the man with, should he be release. That is when he remembered that his father kept an old slug thrower in the cabinet just behind his desk. A smile crept onto Zek's lips. He hoped the man would make the mistake of putting him down.

Aiden shook his head as the obviously scared village leader spoke. "I won't hurt him. Why would I do that to my new.." He grinned and paused before letting the word fall like a hammer blow "Apprentice." He let the kid float and felt the huge amounts of anger radiating from him through the Force. It was actually impressive how angry the child felt. He moved the furniture seperating Dorn from Aiden using his opposite hand and stood with an outstreched palm. "The ring. Now." Aiden said, sounding rather annoyed at this point.

Zek was shocked by what he was hearing. "Your new what!?" Now he was more angry than he had ever been in his life, it was as if his anger was being channeled by the tingling in his chest and multiplied. He almost felt nauseous because of how angry he had become. He wanted to kill the man standing before him more than anything else in the world. He wanted to kill him and save his father so that they could continue their simple lives together. Why did this man think Zek was to be his apprentice? What did he mean force sensitive? There were so many questions he had, but all Zek wanted to do was retrieve the slug thrower from the cabinet and lodge a shell right between this mans eyes. The only problem with that was he had never fired a weapon before. "PUT ME DOWN!" Zek again demanded. "If you want to fight me, fight like a man! Stop your trickery!"

Now Zek's father spoke up "Zek, shut your mouth. This man will not hesitate to kill you. Ignore what he has said about you." Dorn looked at the man awkwardly, as he could not make 'eye contact' with him. "What ring is it you want? and why?" Dorn tried to sound convincing, but he obviously knew that the man wanted the ring that his father gave him, the ring that made him feel more agile and more powerful than he really was. He hoped the man wouldn't call his bluff.

Aiden's eyes narrowed at the man's pitiful attempt to lie and bluff. If Aiden could appear from the shadows and lift things without touching them, as well as see without eyes, should it be painfully obvious that he could tell when someone was blatantly lying. The son's anger was glorious, and he would indeed be a powerful Bogan after that was made productive. His hatred of Aiden would turn over eventually. With a flick of his wrist Aiden sent the boy flying towards the wall near the door he entered through. A sweeping motion with his hand saw all the furniture between Aiden and Dorn fly out of the way. Aiden held up one hand at the village leader, "Lying to me was the last mistake you'll ever make." Aiden said in an annoyed tone as purple lightning shot forth from his fingertips and would shower Zek's father with agony and pain before death liberated him.

Zek felt himself being propelled through the air. There was nothing left in his body but hatred and saddness. He saw his father being electrocuted to death from what appeared to be lightning pouring from the mans hand. Zek abhorred him, he let the anger that had built up within him guide his actions. He thought he might be able to save his mother if he could just reach the slug thrower in the cabinet. With a horrendous shout Zek jumped up, and ran into his fathers office, letting the hatred and anger pour out of him. It felt good to let some of his emotion go, he had never felt this way before. He was across the room in an instant, and just as quickly as he crossed the room he pulled the slug thrower from the cabinet near his father. He felt malice and disgust fill his body as he turned with the slug thrower, letting his emotions aim for him, he pulled the trigger.

'Click'

Nothing happened, Zek was confused, and more angry than ever. His father was now slumped on the floor a smouldering mess. The man was looking at him. That is when Zek realized that the slug thrower was not loaded. He became dizzy with anger, rage, and adrenalin. He took off at a run, aiming for the mans legs. If he couldn't shoot him, maybe he could knock him down. Again he let his anger loose. "AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHGGGGG!!!"

Aiden merely sidestepped the boy as he charged forward towards his legs and let him faceplant into the floor with a resounding thud. The anger had at this point consumed him and Aiden had to show him who was in charge now. Aiden walked over to the downed boy and lifted him to eye level with the Force. At this point Aiden was relatively kind to the new apprentice but the lack of respect would end here. "Listen here boy. You're my apprentice now. I have others so I can kill you on the spot and not lose anything from it. Your father was a very, very corrupt man and there are many things you do not know, things that I can tell you. That funny feeling you have is what allows me to do as I just did, what gives me this power. Do you want this power Zek?" Aiden spoke slowly and calmly to the boy floating in front of him, this one would come to appreciate what Aiden did on this day.

Zek was confused. Not only did he have the death of his father looming in his mind, the shock from seeing him die still had not worn off, and this man was trying to tell him something. His anger had not even remotely subsided and was growing as the intruder held him in front of his face. "Who do you think you are? Telling me I'm your apprentice, I'm not your anything! Needless to say I don't even know what it would mean to be your apprentice. As to your question of power, of course I crave power, power to kill you! Power to avenge my father, and power to save my mother!" At that moment Zek realized he has said too much. He was not sure if the intruder was aware of his mothers presence. He was quick to change the subject. "Put me down, fight me like a man! No more magic! Or are you scared you blind old man!?" Zek was again letting his infinite anger and adrenaline speak for him. It felt good, his anger actually felt good. Who had he turned into?

Aiden had heard enough as the boy began to rant, this why he always just kept his mouth shut and acted as he saw fit. His eyebrows narrowed sharply as the boy finshed and dropped him to the floor. Calling upon the Force to speed him up, he launched forward and launched a knee strike directly at the chest of the young boy. Aiden's strength, the boy's small size and Aiden's perfect technique would see to it that the boy would likely be floored from the impact, with only a few busted ribs if he was lucky. If the boy was in fact floored Aiden would merely stand back and watch him. "You ARE my apprentice. The sooner you accept that and the fact that your father was a horrible man who had been selling villagers here as slaves to fund your lavish home, among other things, your life will be much easier. That anger you feel, I can show you how to harness it, use it to fuel yourself."

Zek felt a sharp pain in his ribs as he slammed to the floor. He heard the man talking, but could not make out what he was saying. Everything went black.

Aiden stood over the previously very firey and angered apprentice of his and watched as the mother came into the room, blaster in hand. A poorly aimed shot came towards Aiden only to get redirected back into her throat and drop her to the floor. Aiden deactivated his lightsaber and returned it to it's position on his belt as he grabbed the boy's ankle and dragged him out of the house. The village had been brutally sacked and four strong young males taken as slaves. Bodies littered the snow covered land as the two Dark jedi left the ghost town and the boy lay slumped over Aiden's speeder whilst the Crusader took care of rounding up the slaves. The ring was retrived and Aiden got a new apprentice..
