SPECIES: Human
AGE: 49
GENDER: Female
HEIGHT: 5’11
WEIGHT: 145lbs
EYES: Green
HAIR: Brown and kept

PERSONALITY: Abele Hallen is a veteran and she doesn't show her emotions easily. She bottles everything, no drinking or smoking. She is desperately trying to stay physically fit to stay in service.

HISTORY:
Abele was born on Coruscant in the middle levels. Often she would climb up to roofing where she would watch people as they passed by. When she was not a bit shy though, talking to strangers of most races even those who could not communicate back to her. She learned Twi-lek at a young age as she lived in a very mixed community.

Her parents took her to Corellia at the age of ten. In the system she learned to pilot ships with reckless skill. On free days her and friends would fly out to platforms and shoot banshee birds for fun.

At about eighteen she entered university schooling and majored in engineering, she planned on becoming an officer in the republic. After attending basic training after her first year in schooling she dropped engineering and transferred to a military school where she learned to be a proper soldier.

After graduating in with high honors she was on the fast track to becoming a general by the age of thirty. She declined such advancement and volunteered for special forces, she wanted to be one of the few females to make it. She did make it, but here she was no great soldier. She was among peers, and this was disheartening. Lieutenant Hallen was her title as the Alsakan crisis began. She lead her first team against the Alsakans mostly in space combat, entering on boarding parties. This was where most of her early experience was gained.

As the Alsakan crisis entered it's stagnant periods she was assigned elsewhere. On distant planets she dealt with other threats, but now she was given the task of sniper. As a pair, Abele and her partner(this tended to change often) would be dropped on remote planets for their single-kill missions. This was the turning point in her life, it was gradual.

At first there were the usual combat trauma symptoms, but with medication and rest she learned to deal with it. She served on countless other planets, including the final battle on Alsakan.

Character fiction:

Its not like shooting at a distant figure. You see the vague outline of the enemy soldier. you line up the adjusted lines with perfect precision, preparing to make the perfect kill. You hesitate, he brings a cigarette up to his face, the glow illuminates his features. You can see the scars the past few years have given him, years of death, destruction, war. You can see his eyes, bright with life. You can see whether he has shaved that morning or not. On his hand, a wedding ring. Who is he married too? How long have they been married? Do they have any kids? What kind of life did he have before he was drafted into this bloody mess. You push these questions to the back of your mind. You are a killer, a cold-hearted assassin. BANG. You throw back the bolt and a smoking shell flies out. He is no more trouble to you, but the thoughts of the life you cut short, the wife that will be waiting for her husband to return, and that battle-hardened face, so full of life and promise, will haunt you for the rest of your life.

<You see a low resolution camera fizz to life. A soft feminine voice speaks into the camera, obviously she is recording this for the purpose of recording the events during the mission. You can see the blur of buildings going past and the hum of a speeder engine.>
***
The guard passed by me.
"He was inexperienced and bored. I slipped by him with ease, but he heard me. He must have had good ears. I had to kill him."
***
<The video cuts out cleanly, the transmission has ended>
***
"I have hid the body, the rest of the squad had to wait a few extra minutes, but it was worth it. He was about to stumble upon Hlane wile he was busy with the recon work. Now that we're in, we have to get out. I have sent a request for evac, but I expect they'll have us get out silently again. They don't want a republic ship showing up after an 'incident'."

***
<You hear the camera click into it's place on her helmet and she looks around the room. Six other armored men sit on the bench seats of the vehicle. Their faces are blurred, someone has tampered with the footage before you were able to view it. The camera jerks tot he window where a large mushroom cloud has appeared, the last words you hear before the video cuts out are, 'Damn Alsakans.'>

20 Years
The Republic security Forces need help, enemies are now within the borders of the Republic. The direct application of force is not appropriate for these criminals and scum. Her transfer to the RSF proved a good choice, She was effective at solo and small team operations that resulted in major criminal organization busts. Her assignments are a mystery, not made public.

The Major looks older, but not old. She is experienced, disciplined, serious, and confident; you can see it in one look. Now Forty-eight years old she still holds on to her youth tightly. Even if it is slipping away.

Surrender

The galaxy took a breath and looked around, many were dead. Abele was still alive and this confused it, so it started another war. The old dogs from the time of Alsakan needed to die. It was their time to retire, but this old dog would keep fighting. Like any of the greats her name was known to war, it was a name not unknown in killing, but it was riddled with rumors and false tales. Few such tales were detrimental to her status as a warrior of the highest caliber, words were scarce to describe what kind of person she was.
