Edit: Jedi and Sith are welcome too!
This is the OOC thread for Bon Voyage. The thread is open so feel free to post as you wish. A description of the cruise ship is below but feel free to add to it in the thread if something isn’t described. This is primarily a social thread but there are no set plans for where it goes so we’ll see. Per site rules it is not death enabled though. Main thread is up. @Padmé
CORUSCA GEM
The Corusca Gem is a 200m Gem class luxury liner, owned by Galaxie Cruises. The ship is newly commissioned and is on its maiden voyage, a 30 day cruise through the core and mid rim. Making such stops as Bothawui, Onderon, Kashyyyk, Manaan, and a full day cruising through the Alderaan System to view the remains of the once beautiful planet.
What makes The Corusca Gem unique is its relatively small size coupled with space for both the supper rich, middle class, and those of lower class that were able to scrimp and save for one an a lifetime trip. Despite the dual nature of the ship those that did not have happens in the luxury section of the ship couldn’t not visit the parts of the ship reserved for those passangers. However, those in the luxury portions go wherever they wished.
The Corusca Gem has seven decks that passengers can access. The top deck, deck 7, which is split into two sections lengthwise, includes plenty of transparisteel view ports to view the Galaxy's wonders. The forward third included lounges and a pool for the super rich. The aft two-thirds included amenities for everyone. Including the Starlight Lounge located at the stern.
Deck 6 and 5 primarily consist of stateroom for the super-rich. Deck 4 was divide similarly to deck seven and included the promenade with various restaurants and shops, a theater, and main dining room, among other amenities. The biggest attraction of deck 4 is the Grand Casino. It too is divided into sections. Deck 3 and 2 consist of small staterooms for those with less money.
Despite the ship being divided into sections most of the passengers, including those with luxury staterooms tend to congregate in the parts of the ship meant for everyone. The Starlight lounge with its sweeping views and casino with its boisterous action being the most popular destinations.
